Stampin’ Up! Lots of Heart for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a sketch challenge today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw our sketch, I sort of immediately thought of the new Lots of Heart bundle (not even sort of thinking outside the box!). But – I didn’t want to do Valentine’s.  Nope – I wanted to do a little something different – so you could see how versatile this bundle could be!  So…I teamed it up with the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  Take a look-see:

And…here’s our sketch (as you can see – I stayed right smack “in the box”!

I decided that not-red and not-pink was the way to go, so….the Just Us Girls color challenge was the perfect inspiration!

I started with a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock that I stamped all over – in Seaside Spray ink for a tone-on-tone effect – with the polka-dot heart image from the Lots of Heart stamp set.  Then I embossed it in the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder for the card front.

I matted a piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP on Misty Moonlight and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue

I cut the Misty Moonlight scrolly-heart strip using the die in the bundled Many Hearts Die set and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

Using the large – lacey-edged heart die, I cut a Balmy Blue and a Basic White heart.  Then I snipped the lace-edge off the white heart and adhered it to the Balmy Blue heart.  Then I adhered it to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the plaid heart from Lots of Heart in Misty Moonlight – then cut it with the coordinating die in Many Hearts.

I popped the plaid heart onto the other layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using a couple of Glue Dots, I adhered a multi-loop figure-8 bow made with Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

I stamped a Peaceful Moments sentiment in Balmy Blue on Basic White and cut it with the next-to-smallest rectangle in my go-to Stitched So Sweetly die set.

I popped the sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals, added a few silver Metallic Pearls and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Peaceful Moments sentiment in Balmy Blue on Basic White.  In the corner, I adhered a pretty Misty Moonlight die cut from the Many Hearts set with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and into my Seaside Spray card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got a Lots of Heart image – stamped in Tuxedo Black – on the front. I colored it with my Light Balmy Blue and Light Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends, plus my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Write Marker…

…and I added more of the Hydrangea Hill DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! I really love this Lots of Heart Bundle – with the amazing Many Hearts Die Set.  I’m not a Valentine’s person, really, but this bundle offers a ton of OTHER options. Either by itself – or paired with other sentiment sets!

I hope you like!
