Stampin’ Up! Sending You Pleased as Punch Timeless Tulips

Well.  It’s Monday.  More to the point – are you sitting down!?  It’s the 30th of March.  Which makes tomorrow the 31st.

Which ALSO means that tomorrow is the LAST DAY of Sale-A-Bration! 🙁

And – it’s the last day that the Coordination Products will be available! 🙁 🙁

So – if you’re still wanting ANYTHING – SAB or Coordinating Product – you need to get busy right now!

And if you’ve been on the fence about joining the Stampin’ Up! family – now is a great time to pick a side – cuz you get SO much more bang for your Starter-Kit-Buck during Sale-A-Bration!!  Give me a holler if you’d like more info….

I decided to make a little card for you today that showcases a couple of fun products – one from the Coordinating Products (the Pleased as Punch DSP) and the other from SAB (the Sending Thoughts stamp set).  And I added in a little Timeless Tulip bundle, too.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge

And the Spring-y color palette is from the Color Throwdown!

I’ve also got all the elements from the As You See It challenge!

I started with a piece of Petal Pink paper from the Pleased As Punch DSP (a Coordinating Product) that I matted on Highland Heather for the card front.  I wrapped a length of 3/8″ Purple Tricolor Ribbon around the panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

I used the Tulip Builder Punch to punch out two pink and one purple tulip from the Pleased As Punch DSP (did you know there’s also paper that coordinates with the Umbrella Builder, the Small Bloom Punch AND the Heart Punch Pack?!?).  I adhered the two purple tulips to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Sending You Thoughts (free with a $50 purchase during SAB – so…thru tomorrow – then it’s GONE!) sentiment in Highland Heather.  Then I cut it with a Rectangle Stitched Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with the Tricolor Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I used two double-stacks of Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the pink tulip over the bow.

A few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels finished off the card front!

On the inside, I added a second Sending You Thoughts sentiment in Highland Heather to a Whisper White panel.  Over the top, I stamped a small tulip from the Timeless Tulip stamp set in Petal Pink.  Then I tucked a Champage Rhinestone in to finish it off!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Highland Heather mat, then into my Petal Pink card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a couple more Petal Pink tulips on the front…

…and some more of the Pleased As Punch DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Tulips just shout SPRING from the top of their lungs (or – they would if they HAD lungs!).  I love the Timeless Tulips bundle – and it’s so cool that you can punch out all sorts of pretty tulips from the Pleased As Punch DSP!!

PLEASED AS PUNCH DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

And Sending Thoughts is one of my favorite sentiment sets ever – and it’s made even better by being FREE.  Well – for today and tomorrow.  THEN it’ll be gone!  So – get these goodies quick like a bunny!

I hope you like and – if you want to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below along with the card cuts!

  1. So sweet! Great spring card! Finn is such a good boy always…I’m sure that he strikes this pose all day long. 😉

  2. You picked a great way to incorporated the purple. Love the design and the pink paper you chose.

  3. Beautiful card Mary 🙂 Love the gingham paper. And Yes, your dogs tongue is longer that mine LOL

    • stampsnlingers

It’s pretty darned long, isn’t it?!? Thanks much, Karen! 🙂

  4. janclothier

That’s a pretty combination of colours. The purple takes some of the saccharine away from the pink. I think the way you’ve stacked up the dimensionals to place a tulip over the bow is a lovely touch. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenge, with your gorgeous creation.

    • stampsnlingers

Thanks very much for the nice words, Jan – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂

  7. Well, I was pretty sure I posted here, because I love the pastel nature of this card. And, I commented that your dog’s tongue is surely longer than my dog’s tongue, seeing as I don’t even have a dog. So, either I am on your **** list and you deleted it, or somehow it never went through. At any rate, I really like this card with the tulips and the gingham. Stay well, and keep up the good work.

    • stampsnlingers

You could never EVER be on my **** list! The comment just never came thru! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Thanks for re-commenting, Julie! And thanks for the kind words! 🙂
