Stampin’ Up! Let it Snow on Playful Penguins

Wow – what a weekend!  We had SUCH a good time at OnStage – I got to meet some of my team members for the very first time (I HOPE not the last!) and we had a wonderful day – followed by pizza and catalog looking and world-problem-solving in my room on Saturday night!

Speaking of catalogs – I can’t wait for you guys to get the new 2020 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catty’s in your hot little hands!

Which…I’ll be able to start sending out to y’all around the 7th of December!  So…for my customers (you’ve ordered in the past year) and my Online Host Club members – you’re already on my mailing list! If that doesn’t describe you – and you don’t already have a demonstrator….be sure to get an order in soon thru my Online Store so that your ARE on my list!  And – that’ll also get you a “membership” in my Punkin’ Heads Rewards program!  Check THAT out right here!

But – for now, let’s not lose track of the awesome and wonderful goodies in the 2019 Holiday Catalog!  I used some of that wunnermus-ness today – the Playful Penguins stamp set and a little Let it Snow Specialty DSP.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches sketch challenge.

I started with a piece of Whisper White that I embossed in the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder and matted on Garden Green for the card front.

For the middle panel, I used a large Stitched Nested Label to cut a piece of Let It Snow Specialty DSP, that I adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the two Playful Penguins in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on some Whisper White.  Then I fussy cut them and popped them onto the DSP panel with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the bow tie in Garden Green and fussy cut it to adhere to the lefthand penguin with Liquid Glue.

For the second penguin, I stamped the cap and scarf in Flirty Flamingo, fussy cut them and adhered them with Liquid Glue.

The sentiment, from Playful Penguins, is stamped on Whisper White in Garden Green and cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I adhered the sentiment with Liquid Glue – added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done! 🙂

On the inside, I added a second Playful Penguins sentiment in Garden Green on a Whisper White panel.  At the bottom, I used Liquid Glue to adhere a Garden Green-matted strip of Let It Snow Specialty DSP.  A single Rhinestone by the sentiment finished if off.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Garden Green mat and into my Flirty Flamingo card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a Tuxedo Black Playful Penguin peeking up from the corner…

…and a little more Let It Snow Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  These Playful Penguins, cavorting on Let It Snow Specialty DSP, just say winter wonder, don’t you think?  Not Christmas – just…winter and friendship!  I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

I got home on Sunday morning to my Finn boing-ing at the door.  Wiggler just a wiggling!  He NEEDs to be a SU demonstrator so he can GO to events.  I’m pretty sure he’d have a wonderful time! 🙂

We decided we needed to do a quick golf cart tour of the pasture to check the grass level for the girls – so off we went!

Me, Dad and the kid.

Farm work is never ending, but he’s up for the job!

Apparently it was just warm enough for him to deploy the cooling device… 😉

The girls were juuuusst curious enough to stop eating (yes – there is PLENTY of grass yet!) and casually check us out.

But not close enough to risk getting caught.  I mean – what if they wanted to RIDE us?!  Get ready to call the Pony-Police to report the abuse! LOL

And yes – those are the “Lingers” in “Stamps-N-Lingers”!  Short for “Haflingers”!  That’s Cerah on the right – she’s mom and is about 20.  Cady (short for Cadence), her daughter, is on the left and is 16-ish.  🙂
