Stampin’ Up! Botanical Butterflies Stampin’ To The Top!

Good morning, y’all!  The week is over – already!  Whoo-hoo!  Three days work – two days off.  Repeat.

Please.  Could we just keep repeating that cycle?? 😉

So – I assume y’all read my post yesterday about the start of Sale-A-Bration (if you didn’t, I’ve put it all in down below – right under the DOUBLE PEPPERMINT ORDERING SPECIAL announcement!).  One of the really big deals during Sale-A-Bration is the awesome and amazing Joining Special!  If you’ve EVER thought of joining Stampin’ Up! – I’d love to have you on my team! – this is the bestest time of the year to take the plunge!

The card I made for you today is one that is similar to one YOU might receive from me to welcome you aboard!  It uses the beautiful Botanical Butterfly DSP – which is a Level 1 gift in Sale-A-Bration (you can pick it as your free gift with a $50 order).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

And the color scheme is from the inspiration photo at Sunday Stamps.

Now – you may not recognize that stamp set…it’s called Stamping Your Way to the Top – and it’s one that only Demonstrators can purchase (subliminal suggestion there….)!  Fun, right?  But -the layout, embossing and what I did with the butterflies could be used with any sentiment banner that you’ve got!

I started with a piece of the Botanical Butterfly DSP – one side of this paper is colored and the other is in black-and-white designs.  I matted the panel on Grapefruit Grove for the card front.

The middle panel is a piece of Whisper White, embossed in the Dot to Dot TIEF (part of the Happiness Blooms suite), then matted on Grapefruit Grove and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Next is a length of Balmy Blue Organdy Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack (another Level 1 gift in the SAB catalog) – that I doubled over and adhered with some Liquid Glue. I adhered a Stitched Shapes Circle die cut from the Botanical Butterflies DSP over the ribbon with more Liquid Glue.

I got the butterflies by using the new Butterfly Duet Punch (in the Occasions catalog) and cutting three butterflies from one of the designs in the Botanical Butterfly DSP (SAB catalog).  I adhered the Grapefruit Grove butterfly to the DSP circle with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Stamping Your Way To The Top sentiment in Grapefruit Grove on Whisper White and fussy cut it.  Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals – both regular and mini – to adhere the remaining butterflies and sentiment to the card front.

Finally, I added a few Grapefruit Grove Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Stamping Your Way To The Top in Grapefruit Grove on Whisper White.  Then I punched a few more Botanical Butterfly DSP butterflies and adhered them with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Grapefruit Grove mat and into my So Saffron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another sentiment from the set and two more small Botanical Butterfly punched shapes on the front…

…and a little of the black-and-white design DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I’m sorry you guys can’t get this stamp set (or….you COULD if….well.  You know! 😉 ) – but think beyond it to the design of the card and do a CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) for yourself!  Use the Botanical Butterfly DSP and the Butterfly Duet punch to decorate your card!  Oh – and remember you can get the paper for FREE!  Hope you like!
