Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well – and that you’re getting those gotta-do’s on your Christmas lists done! Baking cookies – wrapping gifts – decorating the house – all the fun things for this time of year!
My card today is…a cozy tribute to winter. It features the Need for Tweed DSP and the Stay Warm stamp set – BOTH of which are on the Last Chance List as of yesterday, so…if you love this card – best get them in your cart! Stay Warm is all images so…I pulled a wintery sentiment from the Delicate Pines stamp set. Take a look-see:
I pulled some elements for this one from the Festive Friday Inspo list this week. I got Christmas colors, Sweaters, Texture and a Warm Wishes sentiment! 🙂
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by adhering a piece of Need for Tweed DSP on a Cherry Cobbler mat for the card front. Then I matted a 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece on a Cherry Cobbler panel and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut more Need for Tweed DSP – and adhered the circle to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of the same design DSP, I stamped the argyle sweater from Stay Warm in Mossy Meadow ink. Now – this is a Reversibles stamp set, so I COULD have turned the stamp over on the block and stamped the fill side. But – I liked the texture from the DSP so…I didn’t!
I used scissors to fussy cut the sweater and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow from two lengths of Early Espresso Linen Thread (from the Old Olive & Early Espresso Linen Thread pack) and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
I stamped a Delicate Pines sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on a piece of Need for Tweed DSP and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die. Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered it over the bow. Note: on the right end, you’ll need a THREE-stack of Dimensionals! 🙂
I colored five clear dots – from the new Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (part of the new Cute as a Bug suite in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini and available on 6 Jan 2026) with the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
When the dots were dry, I added them to the card and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the sweet heart image from Stay Warm in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic Beige panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Stay Warm heart on the front…
…and more of the Need for Tweed DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Isn’t this just a cozy hug on a card?! The Need for Tweed DSP adds SO much beautiful texture – without adding thickness or weight! And the Stay Warm stamp set has this sweet sweater, mittens, a cap, socks and, of course, the sweet little argyle heart! Get these both before they’re gone, okay?? And Delicate Pines is a great source for a wintery sentiment, too!

Such a fun card! Great way to use those “textured” papers! Beautiful plant too…if it were mine, I’d have killed it long ago!! 😂
Thanks, Amy! 🙂 I don’t know WHY or HOW it lives so well – I’m just lucky with it, I guess! 🙂
Beautiful. Didn’t know they could be so beautiful.
Must be the care from Finn and Addy????
Oh yes – they’ve got quite the green thumbs!! I admit to having a weakness for them – I really love how extravagant they can look!
Cozy Card and Gorgeous plant!🙌🏻
Thank you so much, my friend! 🙂
That DSP is perfect for this challenge. The texture in it is amazing! Thanks for playing along with Festive Friday
Thanks much, Tracy – I thought of the DSP as soon as I read the Inspo List! Appreciate you stopping by!!
