Krew Retreat 2025 – First Session is in the Books! Have a Look-see!

Happy Monday, y’all.  Hope that’s not an oxymoron for you! 🙂

Well.  It happened.  After weeks and weeks of anticipation and prep – the first session from our Krew Retreat 2025 is over.  Done.  Kaput.

Amy and I are knocking around the house today – might go check out the apple orchards that are nearby.  But…our ladies from the first round of our retreats this year are all home and wishing James was making their meals!

The second session kicks off tomorrow – how exciting is it to have so many on our team who want to attend that…we need to have TWO sessions!  Answer: VERY exciting!  Can’t wait to see them start to come up the driveway.

In the meantime – thought I’d share the cards was made this past weekend – and give you some peeks inside the retreat!

We made bunches of cards – which is super easy in the big craft room that James has set up for us!

It’s all real casual and very much unscripted – we all brought a card kit to share and everyone made cards when they wanted to and in the order they wanted!

I know, right?!  Super cute – and super pretty!  Great job, ladies!

Of course – we always had our ears peeled for James announcing lunch – or dinner!

There might have even been some hijinks!  On Friday – we had a masseuse come in. Janet went last and her session ran into dinner!  AND that was the night of the coveted Carrot Souffle.

Someone in the group – no it was NOT me!! – suggested hiding all but a teensy-weensy bite of each dinner item (an uber-super-duper stingy one on the souffle!) so Janet would think she’d missed dinner!

Somehow she KNEW it was a prank!!

LOL!

The ladies ALSO brought fun table gifts!

So much fun – we’ve already got two sessions planned for NEXT year!  BOOM!

We had our last dinner together on Saturday… it included ANOTHER fan-fave…Lava Cakes!

Sunday dawned – whether we wanted it to or not – and after breakfast we gathered for the traditional front-porch-steps Group Photo!

Then the hugs and good-byes and see-you-next-years and….it was over! 🙁  For now!

Amy and I are feeling pretty blessed to get to do this twice – and are looking forward to our next session!  Some of those ladies are new to our team since last year and so we’re meeting them IRL this week!  Yeah!
