BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS COMING UP!

Whoo-hoo!  Once again –  twelve states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Ohio, South Caroling, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July and August. Products that are eligible – according to the statute – include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.”  Click the table below to open the chart and see what is available and when! 🙂

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period (midnight local time to midnight local time) to receive these items tax-free. Also, keep in mind that this is a STATE SALES TAX holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For all y’all that live in Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin…sorry!  Those states suspended the sales tax holiday again this year. 🙁
