Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! And – happy Start-of-Three-Days-of-Free-Shipping Day! Whoo-hoo!! That’s right – place orders OVER $75 (before tax) and Stampin’ Up! will pick up your shipping! Today. Tomorrow. Friday. BOOM!
My card today is another from one of my talented Critters team mates! Beth Kist, from Maryland, made this pretty card using the Impressions Abloom bundle and coordinating Floral Impressions DSP – ALL coming soon on 6 May 2025 as new Online Exclusives! Take a look-see:
SOOO pretty!
To begin – emboss a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock in the new Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder (part of the new Floral Impressions Suite available on 6 May).
Use blending brushes to color the embossed flowers with Old Olive ink and the “sky” with Azure Afternoon ink.
Stamp the Impressions Abloom sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the front of the Azure Afternoon card base.
From a piece of Basic White cardstock, use the dotted oval die from Impressions Abloom to cut out a white frame and use Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut frame to the card front.
To make the flowers – stamp the flower from Impressions Abloom in Fresh Freesia, Peach Pie and Strawberry Slush inks on the same color cardstocks and cut them out with the outline die from the die set.
Run the flowers BACK thru a second time – this time with the DETAILED flower die in place on the stamped image.
The flower centers are stamped in Pecan Pie ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock, die cut with the outline die and then sent back thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the detailed die in place. Adhere them to the flowers with Liquid Glue.
Stamp two leaves in Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock and cut them out with the outline and detailed dies in place.
Use Liquid Glue to adhere the Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie flowers to the card front. Tuck the leaves underneath – securing them with Liquid Glue.
Adhere the final – Strawberry Slush – flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done.
On the inside, stamp the small Impressions Abloom flowers in Strawberry Slush and Fresh Freesia on a Basic White panel. Stamp each solid flower in stamped-off-once ink – then add the detailed image in full strength inks. Stamp the stem – make it straight or curved – it’s up to you! – in Old Olive. Then stamp the solid leaves in stamped-off-once Old Olive and the detailed leaves in full strength Old Olive! Stamp the flower centers in Daffodil Delight ink.
Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Azure Afternoon card base and the card is done!
Stamp some of the flowers on the front of your Basic White Medium Envelope and then add some coordinating Floral Impressions DSP (ALSO coming on 6 May as part of the Floral Impressions suite) to the envelop flap!
Et Voila! Wow – what a gorgeous Spring card – thank you, Beth! I am already loving the Impressions Abloom bundle (it makes so many pretty flowers!!) and coordinating Floral Impressions DSP. And that Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder is stunning, don’t you think?!
