Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Wanted to Say Birthday Card

Good morning and happy Saturday!  Hope you’ve got a bright and sunny day – befitting of Easter Weekend!  We had snow yestedray – quite a bit actually!  Apparently – the Colorado weather THOUGHT we had an appointment to go to and was trying to thwart us!  Fooled it, we did!  Our appointments – all hardy Colorado stock –  came to US!  So…there! 😉

My card today is a quick and easy beauty from my friend and team mate Rosie Kean!  This one is all about die cuts – sentiments from the Wanted to Say die set and some florals from the Painted Lavender die set – BOTH of which are on the Last Chance list so…you know what to do!  Beautiful Perennial Lavender DSP does the heavy lifting here!  And – there’s no ink anywhere so…no inky fingers! Take a look-see:

This one’s quick so…buckle up!

First, mat some Perennial Lavender DSP (carrying over into the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog – whooohoo!) on Basic White for the card front.

Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to cut out a couple of Basic White sprigs using the Painted Lavender Dies and then adhere them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Die cut a detailed Wanted to Say sentiment from Basic White cardstock and the coordinating shadow from Highland Heather cardstock.  Adhere them together with Liquid Glue and then pop them over the florals with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card front is done!

For the inside, adhere a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel using Liquid Glue.  Die cut the Wanted to Say sentiments from Highland Heather and Basic White and adhere them in a stack with Liquid Glue.

Adhere the sentiments to the Basic White panel with Liquid Glue and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Pop the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card is done-ski! 😉

If you’d like to decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope (I know you do!) – use Liquid Glue to adhere more Perennial Lavender DSP to the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  I’m sad that the Painted Lavender dies (and its coordinating Painted Lavender stamp set) and Wanted to Say dies are going away!  If you don’t have them – get them quick as a bunny cuz…they’re ON SALE!! … and only around as long as supplies last!  I am grateful that the gorgeous Perennial Lavender DSP  IS sticking around in the new catalog – and know you are, too!

Mary, I am glad your appointments ‘came to you’ and Mother Nature did not get in the way of things that had to be taken care of.
