Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I decided that our sketch was calling for the Perennial Postage dies – so that was the first thing onto my table. Then I pulled out the Sketched Butterflies bundle, the Wildflower Designs stamp set, the Wildly Flowering DSP – and a few other goodies, too! Take a look-see:
And – here’s the sketch we all used!
I started by adhering a piece of Wildly Flowering DSP on Moody Mauve for the card front.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped a Wildflower Designs flower image 6 times in Mossy Meadow – and then cut them out with the smallest square Perennial Postage die.
I adhered the postage die cuts to a Moody Mauve mat with Liquid Glue – and then to the card front, also with Liquid Glue.
Using the Sketched Butterflies dies, I cut out four large and three small SOLID butterflies from a piece of White Glimmer Paper (from the Old Olive, Berry Burst and White Specialty Glimmer Paper – an Online Exclusive).
I used the dies to cut out four large and three small DETAILED butterflies from various pieces in the Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the detailed dies to the solid dies – and set them aside to dry a bit.

I colored a length of white Baker’s Twine using the Light Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blend and then tied a bow with two pieces of the colored twine. I used a little Liquid Glue to adhere the bow to the card front.
I stamped a Sketched Butterflies sentiment in Misty Moonlight on Basic White and used the next-to-smallest rectangle Perennial Postage die to cut it out.
I adhered the sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the butterflies with a combination of Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Moody Mauve dots from the 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped the multi-butterfly image from Sketched Butterflies a couple times in Misty Moonlight on a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base, adhered the card front with Liquid Glue and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Wildflower Designs floral in Mossy Meadow on the front…
…and more Wildly Flowering DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love how this card looks – it reminds me of my garden these days – butterflies (real butterflies – not Sketched Butterflies!!) everywhere! The Wildflower Designs stamp set has some beautiful floral images and sentiments in such pretty fonts! And the Wildly Flowering DSP is…stunning! Also – the Perennial Postage die set is absolutely one of my faves – I just love those shapes!
I hope you like!
