Stampin’ Up! Changing Leaves Sneak Peek in Greens Card

Good morning and welcome back to your week!  I hope you had a great weekend and that the week is looking to be a good one!  Just a reminder, this is the final week of the Bundle Sale so…be checking to see what bundles you’re still needing and get them while the getting is good! 🙂

My card today doesn’t use a bundle from the catalog – it’s another sneaky look at the new Online Exclusive – the beautiful Changing Leaves bundle – which you’re going to be able to pick up on 3 July!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started by embossing a Crumb Cake panel in the Changing Leaves 3D Embossing Folder – which is part of the bundle.  Being a Hybrid Embossing Folder, it works hand-in-hand with the dies in the bundle – but it’s ALSO awesome all on its own! 🙂

On a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock, I stamped the small leaf from Changing Leaves in Garden Green ink – and cut it out with the big die in the Changing Leaves set.  I stamped the large leaf in Garden Green on a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and cut it out as well.

I placed the two leaves back into their corresponding spots in the embossing folder and then ran them thru the die cutting machine to add some nice texture! 🙂

There are some detailed dies in the set and I used them to cut out some Garden Green leaves and a few Crumb Cake sprigs.  Twigs?   🤷‍♀️

I started adhering leaves to the embossed card front with Liquid Glue.

Then I adhered the two stamped leaves with Liquid Glue.

The final “twig” and stamped leaf was next.

Then I used the two Changing Leaves dies to figure what I wanted to do next….

I used the longer label die to cut out a piece of white-embossed vellum from the Graceful Greenery Specialty DSP (also coming on 3 Jul in the Online Exclusives).

I used the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend to color the BACK of the vellum die cut – then used some Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front – keeping the glue right near the center so it would be hidden.

On a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped a Changing Leaves sentiment in Garden Green and cut it out with the circle die from the set.

I popped the sentiment over the vellum die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished off with some Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots and the card front was done.

For the inside, I stamped the Changing Leaves leaf in Garden Green on a Crumb Cake panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Changing Leaves leaf in Garden Green on the front…

…and the larger leaf in Garden Green on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Yes, it’s true – I’m already in love with the Changing Leaves bundle!  The dies are great – the coordinating Hybrid Embossing Folder is WUNNERMUS (used with the die OR alone!!).  I can’t wait for you to be able to get it on 3 July! 🙂
