Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Sweet & Lovely Sending Love Card

Happy Sunday, y’all – from the U S of A!  Yup – we’re home and all in one piece, if a little (aka a LOT) jet-lagged!  But it was good to get home and see the place and the pony.  And we’ll go get the Man in a little bit!!  I can’t wait to give him a big hug!

My card today is super easy but also super pretty (a combo I like a lot – even if I don’t always accomplish it!).  It features the Lovely & Sweet bundle and the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP – BOTH of which carried over from the last Mini catalog into the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog!  Take a look-see:

I started by stamping the sweet almond image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Pecan Pie ink all over the front of my Pecan Pie card base.  That’s a really cool tone-on-tone way to add a little sumpin’-sumpin’ to your card front!

Next up, I used Liquid Glue to adhere three strips of gold-foiled Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP to a Pebbled Path mat – which I adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using a Stylish Shapes die, I cut a circle from another Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP design – this one in Pebbled Path with gold-foil “script” on it – and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

Using the die in the Lovely & Sweet die set, I cut out a gold-foiled floral from a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a Lovely & Sweet sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes circle die.

Then I adhered it using a little Liquid Glue and a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a simple bow from some Gray Granite Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Then I added several gold and dark coppery Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped part of the sweet almond image from Lovely & Sweet in Pecan Pie ink in the corner of a Basic White panel and then added a dark Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequin.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pebbled Path mat and into the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Lovely & Sweet image in Pecan Pie on the front…

…and more of the Nature’s Sweetness on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I am so glad that this whole set – the Lovely & Sweet stamp set and dies, plus the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP, carried over, aren’t you?  I love when die sets will cut out images right from their corresponding DSP – and that’s exactly what you get – and much more! – here! 🙂
