Finn Fan Fix 
Finny had to go to his doctor yesterday. He’s had a cough and just been sort of…off…much of the week.
I finally just couldn’t take the worry and Over-Protective-Mom-of-10-Year-Old-Aussie….ACTIVATE!
So I took him in – and the exam room was dominated by…a SCALE! Of ginormous proportions! I asked him to get on it and…of course, being the best dog on the whole planet…
A svelte 68 pounds! 🙂
After a few minutes, Dr. Chris came in and listened…and listened. And poked and prodded. And the things.
And couldn’t find anything wrong. So – he took him back and did x-rays. And Finn proved himself – again! – to be the best dog on the whole entire planet. On his side AND on his back – no sedation. What a good boi!!
Found nothing other than a little arthritis in his back (and who among us can’t lay claim to THAT!?) – which is GOOD NEWS! And now we have baseline x-rays. Yeah!
We came home with some Kerafate – he now gets a slurry of that before he eats each meal. Dr. Chris thinks he MIGHT have a little ulcer starting and maybe some acid reflux (from the Rimadyl he takes). So…we’ll see how that goes.
Just shows ta go ya – getting older ain’t for sissies! Be they human or dog!!
