Good morning, y’all – happy Monday! The LAST Monday in October! Christmas is RIGHT around the corner!!
JK. THANKSGIVING is right around the corner!
Which makes today’s card sort of just right! It’s a thank you card featuring the Thanks & Giving stamp set (which includes a Happy Thanksgiving sentiment!). There’s also some pretty Country Cottage DSP – which will be available for customers on 3 Nov in the new Online Exclusives! Take a look-see:
The layout was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Amy Koenders made a pretty card that reminded me of the pretty “scene” paper in the new Country Cottage DSP (coming on 3 Nov) so I pulled it out for this card!
I started with a piece of woodgrain paper from the Country Cottage DSP that I adhered on a Crisp Cantaloupe mat for the card front.
Using the next-to-largest Scalloped Christmas Cheer die, I cut out a farm scene from the Country Cottage DSP and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Then I adhered the card front to the front of my Secret Sea card base using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the pretty wreath from the Thanks & Giving set (available now!) in Secret Sea ink. I colored it with the Light Peaceful Pine and Dark Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin’ Blends.
Then I cut it out with the next-to-largest dot-dash edged Spotlight on Nature die and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow with two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, I stamped a Thanks & Giving sentiment in Secret Sea ink and cut it out with the Three Banner Punch. I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added five Crisp Cantaloupe 2026-2028 In Color Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Thanks & Giving sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Across the bottom I adhered a 5/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of the woodgrain Country Cottage DSP using Liquid Glue.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crisp Cantaloupe mat and into my Secret Sea card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Thanks & Giving wreath in Secret Sea ink on the front…
…and more of the Country Cottage DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – we’re just a week away (3 Nov) from all y’all being able to get your hands on this gorgeous Country Cottage DSP – not to mention the whole SUITE of which it is a part – and which you’re going to LOVE! The Thanks & Giving set is on the shelf right now – and you’re going to love IT, too – it’s amazing for general thank you cards AND for Thanksgiving cards! Winner winner!
