Happy Happy Friday, y’all – hope you’ve had a great week!  We spent a few hours yesterday cooking a TON of food cuz…I guess I didn’t get the outside freezer door ALL the way shut and…it defrosted…everything.  So – both ovens, the stove, the Cuisinart Griddler and the microwave were “on duty”!  So now all the cooked food is headed for a freezer.  It was…1000/10 not fun.  Do not recommend.  Hopefully the freezer alarm doohickey that should arrive today will keep that from happening in the future.  We horse peeps call that “closing the barn door AFTER the horse has left”. 🫤

BEFORE that all happened, though, I did a video to share a cool card – it’s a fun fold! – for Thanksgiving! Die cuts and a sentiment from the cool Autumn Fields bundle grace the front of the card – along with Autumn Opulence and 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSPs!  Take a look-see:

This is called a Diamond Bridge fun fold – and I saw it for the first time on Heidi Collins’ (On Y Go! Stamping) page.  I made just a few tweaks and…it’s a really fun and easy card – so I hope you’ll try it! FAIR WARNING – I used a LOT of in-progress pics on this one so…sorry for the plethora of photos!

I started by scoring a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock at 2 3/4″ on the long side.

I cut two 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ pieces of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP and adhered them to each side of the panel with Liquid Glue.

This card has two mechanisms to make the popping-out do the…popping out!

For the first one, I scored a 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock at 1/2″, 2 1/2″ and 4 1/2″.  I folded the score lines as “mountains”.

I put Liquid Glue on the two tabs…

…and adhered the panel to the card front – centering it top-to-bottom and aligning the center fold with the center fold of the card base.

This makes the “diamond” of the Diamond Bridge card!

Next, I folded two 1″ x 2 1/2″ pieces of Pecan Pie cardstock in half.

I put Liquid Glue on one side of each of them…

..and adhered them to the center of the pop-out.  I put them folded-edge to folded-edge – almost to the center score line.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered two 1 7/8″ x 2 5/8″ pieces of Autumn Opulence DSP to the center mechanism – covering the flaps.

Using the scalloped edge label die from Autumn Fields, I cut out a label from the Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP.

On a 1 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Autumn Fields sentiment in Early Espresso ink.

I adhered the white panel to the Autumn Fields die cut using Liquid Glue.

On Basic White cardstock, I stamped two wheat stalks and a leaf from the Autumn Fields set in Early Espresso ink.  I used the dies in the set to cut them out – and while I was at the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, I cut out a leaf from a piece of Old Olive Mulberry Specialty Paper.

I colored the wheat heads with the Golden Glow and Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brushes and the leaf with the Light Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blend and the Crisp Cantaloupe Shimmer Brush.

I adhered the leaves in a cluster on the right side of the sentiment using Liquid Glue.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot.  Then I added five coppery Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems.

Then I put Liquid Glue on the top flaps of the little pop-up mechanism on the card front…

…and placed the sentiment atop it – centering it on the card base.

Once the Liquid Glue had “set” – the card front was done!

For the back, I stamped a sentiment from the Thanks & Giving set in Early Espresso ink on a 1 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock.  In the corner of it – and a second panel of the same size – I stamped more Autumn Fields wheat and a leaf in Early Espresso ink.  I colored them the same way I’d colored the ones on the front.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the two panels to the back of the card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Autumn Fields wheat and leaf on the front…

…and more of the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – I am SO glad I happened upon this Diamond Bridge fun fold – it’s super fun to make – and it makes a great impression!  AND – it stands up for displaying!  It’s quite the show-piece decorated for Fall with the Autumn Fields bundle and Thanks & Giving stamp set!  Autumn Opulence and 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSPs are…perfect!  Happy Thanksgiving to your recipient!
