Stampin’ UP! Wreath & Wonder Design a Tag Sneak Peek Thanksgiving Card

Good morning, y’all!  Hope you had a great weekend and that the week ahead is looking good for you!  We had a nice visit with our friends last night and sourdough pizza is ALWAYS a good thing!

Today’s card is a bounty of sneak peeks (all that will be available on 1 Sept!) – the new Design a Tag stamp set and Sunflower Fields DSP from the new Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog and a beautiful new hot foil die set – the Wreath & Wonder Dies!  I pulled them – and a few more new goodies! – together to make a pretty Thanksgiving card.  Take a look-see:

And the layout was rather loosely inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started by adhering a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of new Sunflower Fields DSP (coming on 1 Sept) on a Timid Tiger mat for the card front.

I used the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System along with the new Wreath & Wonder Hot Foil Dies (available 1 Sept) to hot foil the pretty wreath in Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil (ALSO coming on 1 Sept – WHOOHOO!!) on the light side of a piece of Golden Glow Two-tone Cardstock.

I colored the leaves with the Dark Cajun Craze and Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating dies in the new set.

I placed the wreath where it was planned to sit on a 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using it as a guide, I stamped the Design a Tag sentiment (from the Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog available on 1 Sept) in Cajun Craze ink.

I embossed the panel in the new Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder (coming 1 Sept).

I matted the panel on Timid Tiger and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals I adhered the die cut wreath in place on the embossed panel.  Note:  I cut some very thin strips from the edge of the Dimensionals sheet to use on the narrow part of the die cut.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a scrunched up Glue Dot.

Then I added some new Adhesive-backed Sparkling Sequins in Pool Party (coming on 1 Sept) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Design a Tag sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on a VeryVanilla panel.  Next to it, I stamped the little leaves image from the set twice in Cajun Craze.  I colored the leaves with a Light Golden Glow and Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends.  Across the bottom, I adhered a 3/4″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Sunflower Fields DSP with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Design a Tag leaves image on the front…

…and more Sunflower Fields DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  If we’re getting close to Christmas – we’re for sure getting close to Thanksgiving – and the Design a Tag stamp set will be perfect!  And – it also works fro Halloween AND Christmas AND New Year!!  Boom!  For this one – the new Wreath & Wonder Hot Foil Dies brings a Fall wreath in beautiful Copper!  And – of course – let us not forget the amazing Sunflower Fields DSP!  Wowza!!
