Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw our sketch, I saw “background stamp”. And the one I decided to pull out for you was the Knit Together stamp set – with the bundled Knit Sweater dies. Well – good morning, y’all! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was busy – and fun! After Backstage on Friday and Saturday, we had our great Check Out The Krew FB event and it was great! Stampin’ Up! Time of Giving for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop!

Hey, y’all – how’s the weekend going? We had rain yesterday – which we rather desperately needed. And it cooled it down for a bit – sort of like a swamp cooler does – cooler AND more humid! 🙂 But the plants and veggies were all mostly glad for a drink – and I was glad they got one that I didn’t have to give them!

Stampin’ Up! May’s Batter Up Paper Pumpkin and a Peek at June’s Kit

Good morning, y’all! While you’re reading this, I’ll be winging my way across the country. Or…flying from New Jersey to Atlanta. I’m not really sure. I DO know that I won’t be home quite yet!

I’m pretty sure I’ll find my May Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! waiting for me – but by the time I figure out what time zone and state I’m in….😳…there’s no telling when I’ll get to it. So – I wanted to let you get a peek at it and to ALSO give you a sneak peek at the June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Expressions in Color!

The May Paper Pumpkin Kit was called Batter Up and it made 9 fun baseball themed cards and coordinating envelopes!

Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature Peaceful Moment Sympathy Card

Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!! Do you have something fun planned? I think our plans revolve around the garden – I know…shocker! – time to get it all in the ground! And..I’m HOPING the plan includes putting up my picket fence around the garden! Send fence-putting-up thoughts to Wayne, will you?!? 😉

So – the card I made today is one that I very carefully made for our friend whose wife died on Sunday – that was the funeral we went to yesterday. So it’s a masculine one – and one that I really like. Of course, in our mad rush to get out of the house – we don’t do that very well in the mornings – I left the card sitting smack in the middle of the kitchen table. 🙁 We’ll have to get it to him a different way, I guess.

I used a couple of favorite goodies that are, sadly, retiring soon! The beautiful Rooted in Nature stamp set and coordinating Nature’s Roots die set. Then I threw in a couple of sentiments from Peaceful Moments. I added some In Good Taste DSP (NOT retiring – phew!!). Take a look-see:

Yesterday, my friend Jan came over to make a sympathy card for a friend – and, I liked the design we ended up with so much that I used it to make my card for you today.
