Good morning and….might I be the first to wish you a most Happy Happy HAWWWWMP DAY!!! 🙂 Start the slide into the weekend, y’all!
Yesterday, my friend Jan came over to make a sympathy card for a friend – and, I liked the design we ended up with so much that I used it to make my card for you today. I used the Enjoy the Moment stamp set – and, unlike Jan’s card, that was all I needed for images AND sentiments. Like hers, though, I also used In Good Taste DSP. Take a look-see:
I started with some In Good Taste DSP that I matted on Early Espresso for the card front. Then I wrapped a length of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim around the panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
I added some Antiqued Corners with Glue Dots.
On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the seed pod image from Enjoy The Moment twice in Early Espresso. Then I used my Blender Pen to “pull” ink out into the image to color it.
I matted the panel on Early Espresso and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On another piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the Enjoy The Moment sentiment in Mossy Meadow and cut it with the banner die in the Tasteful Labels die set.
I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the Dragonflies Punch, I punched three Blackberry Bliss dragonflies and adhered them with Liquid Glue.
I colored some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Bronze Stampin’ Blend, added them around the seed pods and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Enjoy The Moment sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla and then added the seed pods again, pulling the ink with the Blender Pen. A single, colored, Rhinestone finished it off.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another seed pod in Early Espresso on the front…
…and more of the In Good Taste DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Enjoy The Moment set is sort of one of those fly-overs – but…it shouldn’t be, y’all! The subtle and organic images are perfect for masculine cards for lots of occasions. Or…bump it a little with some Rhinestones and it becomes suitable for the women in your life, too! And, I think In Good Taste is some of our coolest paper, don’t you – with designs, colors and textures for cards of all types!
I hope you like!

As in – she pretty much rules the roost. And he has a pretty healthy respect for her dominance!
Right up until he doesn’t – and gives her a big ole wet willy!
Which she apparently likes cuz she doesn’t leave near as fast as you might expect! 😉
