Stampin’ Up! A Beautiful World Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s a sketch challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I am SO loving the Beautiful World stamp set and the accompanying World of Good Specialty DSP – and I used them again today.  Along with – cuz I can’t seem to help myself – my go-to for all things-thanks…the aptly named Massive Thanks.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch challenge.

I pulled the color scheme from the TGIF Challenge this week.

I started with some World of Good Specialty DSP and matted it on Night of Navy for the card front.

I took a second – Bumble Bee – piece and matted it on Night of Navy, too – then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I put a piece of Whisper White card stock into my Stamparatus and used it to stamp the Beautiful World sentiment in Night of Navy ink.  Over that, in stamped-off-once Crumb Cake, I added the world globe image.

I cut the sentiment with a circle Stitched Shapes die.

I used my Layering Circles dies to cut two scalloped-edged circles – the larger from Night of Navy and a smaller one from Brass Foil.  I adhered the foil circle to the Night of Navy circle with Liquid Glue.

I popped the sentiment onto the matted circles with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and then used Liquid Glue to adhere it all to the card front.

I used Glue Dots to adhere an Antique Corner to each corner of the middle panel – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used my Stamparatus to add a sentiment from Massive Thanks in Night of Navy to a Whisper White panel.  Over top is another stamped-off-once Crumb Cake globe image.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Night of Navy mat and into my Bumble Bee card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a Beautiful World globe image in full-strength Crumb Cake on the front…

…and more of the World of Good Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Beautiful World set is perfect for masculine cards – but…don’t let it get “stuck” in that compartment, okay?  It’s just a wonderful bundle for all your projects….

…and – this bundle could be yours for FREE – PLUS another $125 worth of the Stampin’ Up! goodies of your choice and free shipping – for just $99 when you take advantage of our awesome joining special right now!!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts are listed below!

Stampin’ Up! World of Good Sneak Peek with Video Tutorial for The Paper Players

Hey y’all – it’s Sunday, which means I’ve got another fun challenge for you from the Paper Players – it’s a clean-and-simple Theme challenge from our amazing Ann this week and it’ll for sure jump-start your creative mojo!  I hope you’ll come and play along.  🙂

If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending some of your weekend with me!  If you weren’t able to watch the live version, but you’d like to see the replay on YouTube…here ’tis!

I went – once again – to the wonderful new Beautiful World Bundle – part of the World of Good Suite in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  And…it’s a fun-fold.  Again.

Sorry?

Nope – not sorry.

Take a look-see:

And here’s this week’s Paper Players theme challenge!  Hope you’ll join the fun and show us your projects!  I can’t wait to see what you create!  🙂

I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge – going across the middle row!

I first saw this fun-fold on my friend Karen Ksenazakovic’s blog and decided to try one of my own!

I started by cutting my piece of Early Espresso 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock as shown in the video.  First I scored it at 5 1/2″ along the long side.  Then I scored it along the short side at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″.

Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut out the small rectangles on one side.

Once I folded the card stock, I was left with a tent card that holds a secret “gate card” on the inside!

Next, I adhered some wordly paper from the World of Good Specialty DSP to the front of the card base with Liquid Glue.

I cut a piece of Bumble Bee card stock and embossed it in the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder.  With a sponge, I lightly brushed over the raised areas of the card stock with Crumb Cake ink.  Then I tore the edges of the panel and adhered it to the card front, on an angle, with Liquid Glue.

With the die in the World Map Die set (bundled with Beautiful World), I cut out a bunch of North America world dies (there’s also a die with the “other” half of the world) from Crumb Cake and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to a Crumb Cake panel.  Then I used my Trimmer to cut the panel down to the size I wanted – and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using SNAIL, I adhered a length of Bumble Bee 2020-2022 In Color 1/4″ Ribbon and a piece of the open-weave ribbon in the new Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (all this ribbon will be available to you on 3 Jun!!).

Using the dies in the World Map Die set, I cut a Mossy Meadow circle and a detailed globe and adhered them together with Liquid Glue.  I also cut a “stand” from some new Brass Foil (coming 3 Jun), and added it with Liquid Glue, too.  Then I adhered it to the card front.

I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the Beautiful World sentiment in Mossy Meadow on Bumble Bee card stock and cut it with a die from the Tasteful Labels Die set (3 Jun).  Then I popped it over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done!

On the inside, I matted two pieces of World of Good Specialty DSP on Bumble Bee and then to the gates with Liquid Glue.

On the All-the-Way-Inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Beautiful World in Mossy Meadow on Whisper White.  Then I added a compass in Crumb Cake over top.  In the corner, I stamped a Mossy Meadow inkwell and Crumb Cake quill.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bumble Bee mat and into the card base and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the inkwell and quill on the front…

…and more of the World of Good Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I LOVE this hidden-gate fun fold (I just made that up – I have NO idea if that’s what it’s called!), don’t you??  It’s another great opportunity to showcase our beautiful papers and stamp sets, like this Beautiful World and the bundled World Map Dies, and World of Good Specialty DSP!  This is going to be a go-to Suite when you need a masculine card, I am thinking!

I hope you like!

And I can help you get this stamp set – either now as a new demonstrator (yes, you can select pre-order goodies for your Starter Kit!!) or after 3 June (consider my Online Host Club!!).  Give me a shout!

If you want to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below along with the card cuts!

Now – before you reach for your ink and papers, check out what our amazing team has created to inspire you this week:

I give you…Wayne “training” Finn to leave his plate alone after lunch.

Step 1 – place plate on arm of chair…

Step 2 – using hand signals, tell dog “leave it”.

Step 3 – analyze dog’s reaction to “leave it” command.

Expert analysis of reaction….uhm….unprintable on a public blog.

Step 4 – assess efficacy of training session.

Expert analysis…epic FAIL. 😉

Stampin’ Up! World of Good Video Sneak Peek

Hey, guys!  It’s the weekend.

Got big plans?  We’re… binge watching Outlander.  Yes – our cable company has a Watchathon thingy going on and Outlander is on it.  So…trying to pound our way thru 5 seasons before it goes away tomorrow!

Have you read the series of books by Diana Gabaldon??  If not…just do it.  Get them right now.  Start with the first book in the series (“Outlander”) and go to the end.  You won’t regret the time, I promise!  You might regret getting to the end, though! 🙂

I AM going to take a break to do a fun-fold card with y’all this evening at 7pm eastern over on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page.  Here’s a sneaky Peek.

It’s a cool fold and it features the goodie in the World Of Good Suite!  I think you’ll like it!

So – hope to see you tonight!  7pm.  Right here!

Now – back to Jaimie and Claire!! 😉

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Sneak Peek for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is For the Boys/Men!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

Because I really just couldn’t help myself, I pulled out a new bundle – well the Suite, really – all available on 3 Jun!  My card today showcases the wunnermus new World of Good Suite – anchored by the Beautiful World stamp set and bundled World Map dies.  And this suite is where you’ll find the amazing World of Good Specialty DSP and my new favorite thing…Antiqued Corners & Slides.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.

I started with some of the beautiful Mossy Meadow paper from the World of Good Specialty DSP that I matted on Early Espresso for the card front.  A smaller piece, also matted on Early Espresso, created the middle panel.

Next, I used a square Stitched Shapes Die to cut down one of the great smaller cards in the new Beautiful World Memories & More Card Pack and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the circle die in the World Map Dies, I cut a circle from the same scripty design in the World of Good Specialty DSP.  I used the detailed die (this is the one with North America – but there’s ALSO a die featuring the other half of the world!!) to cut a Gold Foil world.

I adhered that to the DSP circle with Liquid Glue and popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I threaded some of the new 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim – also part of this Suite and available on 3 Jun – thru an Antiqued Slide and then adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot and a little Liquid Glue.

To finish off, I added an Antiqued Corner at each corner of the scripty panel with a Glue Dot (don’t you think they make it look like a really cool and elegant desk pad?!? Ha – you do now even if you didn’t before!! ) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used more of the scripty World of Good Specialty DSP and, with my Stamparatus, added a sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got an Early Espresso world map image from the Beautiful World stamp set on the front…

…and more of the Mossy Meadow World of Good Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Okay – who’s with me here?!  World of Good is a SUPER wonderful suite – filled with vintage and masculine-oriented images and the World of Good Specialty paper is just….swoon-worthy!  The Beautiful World stamp set – with the bundled World Map Dies will let you create cards for thank you’s, writers, travelers and just because!

I hope you like!

If you want to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below along with the card cuts!  You’ll be able to pick up all the new Suite goodies on 3 Jun (unless you Join Now – and then…you could pick them today.  Just sayin’…).

Now that you’ve seen my card, I hope you’ll take a little time to jump thru all the other projects we have to share. Click any name below, or you can use the Previous Blog button to jump back to Amy’s page or the Next Blog button to see what Karen’s been up to!
