Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there! I hope you have a most wonderful day – with breakfast in bed and a day of total pampering! Happy Happy to MY Mom, too!!
If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you watching. If not, but you’d like to watch the replay on YouTube – here ’tis!
Happy Tuesday! Tuesday is sort of a flyover day, right? Neither the start of the workweek (bleh) – not HAWWWWMP DAY, Mike – and for sure not the END of the workweek (whoo-hoo!) – it’s just sort of a…filler. It’s cousin, Thursday, has similar identity issues, right?
Today is, however, National Puppy Day! So…it’s got that going for it!! 😉
My card today has nothing to do with Tuesday – or puppies, for that matter – it’s just a quick and easy card using the truly cool Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack, with a matching Dandy Garden Envelope and…a little help from the coordinating Dragonfly Garden Bundle. Take a look-see:
Thanks to the amazing Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack, this one is super easy!
I pulled one of the large cards from the pack and trimmed it down a smidge to accomodate a Bumble Bee mat for the card front.
I wrapped some Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim twice around the matted panel – securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and cut it with a Tasteful Labels die. I used the same die to cut a Bumblebee mat, then used Liquid Glue to adhere the two die cuts together.
I popped the matted sentiment over the top of the braided trim with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I tied a simple bow from the Mossy Meadow trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
I punched some tiny Blackberry Bliss dragonflies using the Dragonflies Punch (bundled with the Dragonfly Gardenset) and adhered them with Liquid Glue – and that was it for the card front!
On the inside, I stamped a second Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a Basic White panel and added some of the pretty wildflowers in Bumble Bee.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bumble Bee mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
I did absolutely nothing to the already-perfectly-decorated Dandy Garden Memories & More Cards & Envelopesenvelope!
Et Voila! It took me a while to warm up to Memories & More Card Packs (I thought they were ONLY good for scrapbooking – but I was totally wrong!) but…this Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack is gorgeous! And has SO many cool elements that you can use and use and use to create your card projects. Or…even scrapbook pages!! 😉 And the Dragonfly Garden Bundle – well – it’s for sure one I hope makes it into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog!!
I hope you like!
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts are listed below!
Good morning and….might I be the first to wish you a most Happy Happy HAWWWWMP DAY!!! 🙂 Start the slide into the weekend, y’all!
Yesterday, my friend Jan came over to make a sympathy card for a friend – and, I liked the design we ended up with so much that I used it to make my card for you today. I used the Enjoy the Moment stamp set – and, unlike Jan’s card, that was all I needed for images AND sentiments. Like hers, though, I also used In Good Taste DSP. Take a look-see:
Good morning! And happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a great weekend – maybe warming up a bit? We had a gorgeous day yesterday and spent much of it getting mulch from the landfill (I know – it’s a glamorous life we lead – don’t be envious!) and getting our two new beds in place. Today I think we have to hit Sam’s to see if we can exchange our mixed-gender Martha Washington asparagus for more all-boy-all-the-time Jersey Giants. See? Glamour glamour! 😉
If you were able to spend some of your weekend with me on my Facebook Live video last night, I appreciate it! If not, here’s the replay on YouTube!
Good morning and happy Monday! We had a gorgeous couple of days here in north Georgia and have heard that the country is thinking about warming up so that’s all good. We even washed the van yesterday (along with 100 of our closest friends!) 😉
My card today is a reach-back to the awesome Dragonfly Garden bundle and pretty Dandy Garden DSP. This time, I also used a cool die cut panel from the Dandy Laser Cut Paper. Take a look-see:
Good morning and happy Friday! Hoping that your week went well – and that you’re ready for a weekend. You’ll be fascinated to hear that – in celebration of National Pizza WEEK (yes, that’s a thing – but it ends Saturday so….get to eating!) – we ate sourdough crust pizza last night! And it were yummy!
I’ve got a fun fun-fold for you today and, if you were able to join me for my YouTube live yesterday, I appreciate you spending part of your day with me! If not, here’s the replay!
I pulled out the Dragonfly Garden Bundle – with the fun Dragonflies Punch – and some Dandy Garden DSP and pulled it all together to create a z-fold card (of sorts). Take a look-see:
The color palette for this one is from this week’s Paper Players Challenge!
I started with a 5 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock – Blackberry Bliss for the sample card (I used Calypso Coral in the video) – and scored and folded it at 1 3/4″, 5 1/2″ and 9 3/4″ along the long side.
I matted Dandy Garden DSP on Bumble Bee cardstock – using Misty Moonlight paper for two panels and Bumble Bee paper for the center panel.
I adhered all the matted panels to the card base with Liquid Glue.
For the belly band, I gently folded a 1″ x 11″ piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock (or Calypso Coral) around the folded-up card and adhered the ends together with Liquid Glue on the front of the card.
The sentiment started with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I cut with the third smallest Stitched Rectangle Die. I ran it again thru the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, this time with one of the new Stitched With Whimsy dies in the middle.
I stamped the middle of the sentiment label with the Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Misty Moonlight (Mossy Meadow in the video) and then stamped the wunnermus wildflower image three times over the top in Bumble Bee. Then I adhered it to the middle of the belly band with Liquid Glue.
I punched a dragonfly from the Dandy Garden DSP (Blackberry Bliss or Calypso Coral) using the Dragonflies Punch. I gently curled the wings and adhered it with Liquid Glue. Then I used the punch to punch Blackberry Bliss (or Calypso Coral) small dragonflies and adhered them as well. Those got a swipe with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
For the inside, I stamped the Dragonfly Garden wildflowers image twice in Bumble Bee on the bottom of a Basic White panel. Then I added the little “swarm” image in Blackberry Bliss (Calypso Coral in the video).
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bumble Bee mat and into the card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Dragonfly Garden wildflowers and “swarm” on the front…
…and more Dandy Garden DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Love love love the Dandy Garden Suite, don’t you? From the Dragonfly Garden stamp set with it’s perfectly fun Dragonflies Punch…
…to the gorgeous Dandy Garden DSP…
….it’s a winner! I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
In the evenings, when the horses come in, we tell Finn to “go to your spot”.
His spot is a dog bed. Wherever the dog bed is – so…it moves around some.
But – it’s still his spot and he goes there to watch over the pony parade as they come in!
He’ll usually lay down – with blinky blinking around his neck! – for at least the start of the event.
But…as they get closer – sometimes he has to sit up – just to be sure they see him.
Just double checking that I’m there and won’t let one of the mean girls get him! 😉
To be clear – they aren’t ACTUALLY mean and I won’t let them get him!
Hey y’all – it’s Sunday, which means I’ve got another fun challenge for you from the Paper Players – Claire’s got a cool color challenge for us all … I hope you’ll come and play along with us! While the challenge seems like a great New Year’s card – I came up with something a little different! What will you make?? 🙂
If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending some of your weekend with me! If you weren’t able to watch the live version, but you’d like to see the replay on YouTube…here ’tis!
For this one, I pulled out the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and the Dragonflies Punch! These items will be available on 5 Jan 2021 in the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog. And – for the BIG impact – I used a piece of the Dandy Laser-Cut Paper – which is also part of the Dandy Garden Suite! Take a look-see:
Here’s the Paper Players color challenge just in case you weren’t able to figure it out! 😉
I started with a piece of Basic Black that I matted on Silver Foil for the card front.
Next, I selected a panel of the new Dandy Laser-Cut Paper and used Liquid Glue to adhere it to a piece of Basic Black card stock the same size. Then I matted that on Silver Foil and popped it onto the card front with the Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On another piece of Basic Black cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from Dragonfly Garden in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.
Tip: when you heat emboss, the powder turns into a liquid-y form until it cools off. Be careful to not stick your fingers in it. Trust me. It won’t run or anything, but it WILL smear/come off. Once it’s good and cool, you’re good to go! 😉
So – when it was cool, I cut it with a die from the Tasteful Labels die set.
I cut two lengths of Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.
Then I popped the sentiment over top with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched a bevy of bitty dragonflies from Silver Foil using the Dragonflies Punch. Two of them I adhered to the sentiment with Liquid Glue and the other three I popped on with mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. And – that was it for the card front!
I DID toy with adding some Rhinestones, but….held myself back!
On the inside, I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the little dragonflies and a second sentiment from Dragonfly Garden on a Whisper White panel.
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Silver Foil mat and into my Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more of the Tuxedo Black Dragonfly Garden dragonflies on the front…
…and a large dragonfly on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Dandy Garden Suite – with the Dragonfly Garden and the DragonfliesPunch as an integral part! – is absolutely one of my favorite new goodies in the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog!
If you want to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below along with the card cuts!
I hope you like!
Now…take a look at what the rest of the team has to offer! Then pull out your ink and papers and have a little fun! 🙂

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK IS RETIRING!
Stampin’ Up! posted this update late in the day on Thursday.
Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.
We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!
The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!
What does this mean for you?
With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected. Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock. These items are now available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order.
Our new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as we have them in stock. This means that some Whisper White and Basic White products may be available at the same time. Additionally, due to the nature of sourcing, some Basic White products may not be available before the Whisper White products sell out. Please know that we are working on getting these products available to you as fast as possible.
We also have a video message addressing some potential concerns that you may have. This video goes over a comparison of Whisper White to Basic White so you will know what to expect with this change. You can watch the video here.
It’s always hard to say goodbye, but we are excited about the new Basic White product line and we encourage you to try it out! We are confident that you’ll love it just as much as we do.

Good morning and happy Friday! October is winding down – meaning November is right around the corner! Yikes! I passed up bags of cranberries yesterday at the grocery store. Stopped. Considered. Decided there was plenty of time. Fingers crossed that that is true and there’s not the Great Cranberry Shortage of 2020 – just to tie a bow on this year! 🙂
If you were able to join me yesterday for my YouTube live, I appreciate you spending some time with me – if not, but you’d like to see the replay, here ’tis! 🙂
