‘Sup, y’all! How did the Fall-Back go for you? It’s 7am here. But really 8. So – you should be wide-awake and perky! Your dogs and cats and ponies are looking at you like – what the HECK!! – but…YOU got an extra hour of sleep.

Or…did you??!

Regardless – we’re in it now until Spring. Bleh.

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending part of your last evening in Daylight Savings Time with me! If not, but you’d like to watch the replay – here ’tis on YouTube!

The project we did last night is quite timely, since we’re plunging headlong into Gift Card Giving Season (GCGS). I like giving gift cards – I do! – but…they always seem a little like I phoned it in. So…I feel BETTER about it if I can present them in a beautiful and/or clever gift card holder. And this one is both! With the gorgeous Christmas Rose stamp set and bundled Rose Dies, atop wunnermus Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:

Happy Tuesday! The week is clicking by! Soon it’ll be Hawwmp Day and we’ll be on the downhill slide to the weekend! Whoo-hooo!

My card today is…another fun fold. In fact, it’s the same fold as yesterday – sorry! – cuz I needed another gift card for a co-worker leaving the program. So…I used the same fold on the inside, but…pulled in the Floral Essence stamp set, plus some gorgeous painterly Perennial Essence DSP and a Bird Ballad Laser Cut Note card – all available on 4 June! Posted on December 16, 2018 by stampsnlingers

Hello! Happy Sunday! Are you counting the days? Or are you counting the things-to-get-done-before-Christmas is here? I’m pretty much doing the latter. It’s going to be here before we know it!

As I try to gather up gifts – a lot of my recipients end up with the words “Gift card” next to them! So – I like to make fun little gift card holders to give them. I’ve got a fun one for you this weekend that I think you’re going to like. We’ll take a look at how to do it tonight on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page at 8pm Eastern. Stampin’ Up! Christmas Traditions Pop-Up Gift Card Holder

Posted on December 10, 2018 by stampsnlingers

Morning, y’all! Happy Monday! I, for one, am hoping that we woke up to some sunshine and a little warmth today. The entire weekend was entirely too yucky for us – wet and nasty. It was the kind of weekend where you just wanted to roll over and stay in bed. Maybe with some kind soul bringing a cup of hot chocolate. And maybe a cookie.

Or twelve! 😉

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video – I appreciate you spending some of your weekend with me! If not, but would like to see how to make the pop-up gift card holder we worked on, here’s the replay! Oh – and the last 30 minutes is all 2019 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs Sneak Peeks! Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around Sneak Peek for Stamp Ink Paper #149

Posted on May 8, 2018 by stampsnlingers

Morning, y’all! This is the first of two posts for me today – I’ll be back at 8am with another card for this month’s Amy’s Inkin Krew Blog Hop.

For now, though, being that it’s Tuesday – it’s also Stamp Ink Paper challenge day! We’ve got a fun theme challenge for you this week! Dads & Grads!

I don’t have anyone graduating, but it seemed like a perfect time to use the new Sitting Pretty stamp set. I’ve been planning for this since I saw it for the first time at OnStage! Next year – I’ll have a UGA grad to make a card for. This is…practice for that day! I combined the bulldog image from Sitting Pretty (a new set in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog) with a few sentiments from Stitched All Around (also coming on 1 June), a couple from the new Itty Bitty Greetings and I made a custom sentiment with the Make a Difference stamp set! 🙂 Take a look-see:
