Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dreams & Whispers Thank You Card

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!

Today I went back to a sort-old-sorta-new fave – the Delicate Whispers bundle and Delicate Dreams DSP – both Online Exclusives – to make a simple and beautiful thank you card for someone special!  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering some pretty Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP (backordered right now but expected back around 25 May) on a Secret Sea mat for the card front.

I matted a second 2 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece – it’s actually the backside of the first paper! – on Secret Sea and adhered that to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the dies in the Delicate Whispers bundle, I cut out the two boughs from Crumb Cake cardstock.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the two boughs to the Mossy Meadow DSP panel.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot.

On a 3/8″ x 2 5/8″ strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Delicate Whispers sentiment.  You can see that I only inked up the first part of the sentiment – the whole thing says “Wishing you Happiness and Love”.

I matted the sentiment on a 1/2″ x 2 3/4″  piece of Secret Sea cardstock and adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added seven Cloud Cover Moody Palette Glossy Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Delicate Whispers sentiment in Secret Sea on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock.  In the corner, I stamped one of the bough images from Delicate Whispers in Crumb Cake ink.  I colored the little flowers with the Dark Cloud Cover Stampin’ Blend.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Delicate Whispers bough on the front…

…and more of the Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Well – it’s little wonder that the gorgeous Delicate Dreams Specialty DSP is having a hard time staying available, is it?!  But – it’ll be BACK and then you’re going to want to snatch up a pack (or two!!).  Then use it alongside the wonderful Delicate Whispers bundle with it’s pretty sentiments and stamped images – and all that wonderful die cut foliage!  So pretty!!

Stampin’ Up! Scenic Sunset Book Fold Lighthouse Card

Yesterday on my Monday Zoom the Craftroom (my twice-weekly online gathering for my customers and team) one of my teammates – Beth Kist – shared a wonderful book-fold card she’d made with the new Sunset Coast bundle and coordinating Scenic Coast Specialty DSP (both coming on 5 May!).  I do love a good book fold and I DO love this new Suite – so…I told her I was going to CASE it! And – I did!  Take a look-see:

To begin, I scored a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock at 5 1/2” and 6 3/4” on the long side.  Then I folded the 5 1/2” score line as a “mountain” – so….you know, ”regular”! – and at the 6 3/4” score in the opposite direction.  Topographically speaking, that would be a “valley” fold!

Using Liquid Glue between the 5 1/2” and 6 3/4” score lines, I adhered the front of the card base to the back – just in that 1 1/4” area. This made the “book” or “side” fold.

I cut a watery piece of Scenic Sunset Specialty DSP at 4″ long – then I cut a 1″ x 4″ and a 4″ x 4″ piece from it – keeping the wave-foam design intact.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the 1″ x 4″ piece on a 1 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Crushed Curry cardstock.  I adhered a length of Strawberry Slush 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon (on the Last Chance List!) around the panel – securing it on the back with Mini Glue Dots,

Then I adhered the panel to the narrow book-fold part of the card front with Liquid Glue.

I matted the remaining 4″ x 4″ piece of Scenic Coast Specialty DSP on Crushed Curry and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the lighthouse die in the Sunset Coast dies to cut from a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Remember – these circle dies leave the shape IN the piece of cardstock you use.  So…thanks to Beth – I was able to use the largest Spotlight on Nature “dash-edge” die to cut out the circle.  It fits perfectly!

I used the same Spotlight on Nature die to cut out the sunset section of one of the Scenic Coast Specialty DSP panels.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the Basic White die cut to the Scenic Coast Specialty DSP die cut (being sure to keep the lighthouse as vertical as I could – while keeping the horizon on the Scenic Coast Specialty DSP straight horizontally)!

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the layered circle to the card front.

I inked just the word “Happy” from one of the Sunset Coast sentiments in Strawberry Slush ink and stamped it three times on a 3/8″ x 3″ strip of Basic White cardstock.

I snipped a banner in one end with scissors and then used Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment to the card front – sliding a Dimensional under the right end to support it.

I added five Strawberry Slush Sunset Sparkling Sequins (new in the Scenic Coast Suite on 5 May) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped two sentiments from Sunset Coast – the first in Strawberry Slush and the second in Blueberry Bushel.  I made a little scene near the sentiments – stamping Balmy Blue water, a Blueberry Bushel sailing ship and a Crushed Curry sun.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sunset Coast water, sailboat and sun on the front…

..and more watery Scenic Coast Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I am SO glad that Beth shared her card with us – reminding me how much I love the Scenic Coast Specialty DSP and the coordinating Sunset Coast bundle!  Add them to a book fold and….BOOM!!

Stampin’ UP! Lovely Floral Vignette Sneak Peek Birthday Card

Happy Monday, everyone!  Hope you had a good weekend.  We kept getting the It’s Going to Rain in 10 Min notices on our phones and yet…nary a drop.  Just windy – and cold again!  I mean – not cold enough that I closed the windows but…it was a bit brisk in the house!!  LOL.  We sure do need some rain though so…hoping we get a shower or two soon. 🙂

Today’s card uses the pretty new Floral Vignette stamp set and a little bit of Moonlit Flora DSP – these are both coming on 5 May in the May-Aut 2026 Catalog.  Since the Floral Vignette set doesn’t have a sentiment – I pulled out the Lovely Arrangements set.  Take a look-see:

Hey y’all – I’ll be back in a bit with my card for today’s Team Blog Hop – but I needed to put out a correction on my 2026-2028 In Color Special Bundles.

When they posted yesterday – there were a couple of errors. I PROMISE I reviewed and re-reviewed and RE-re-reviewed before posting but….I STILL missed it!

I mistakenly listed the New In Color Stampin’ Blends as part of the 2026-2028 In Color Bundle (the big bundle).  That was wrong – they are NOT included – and the listed price is CORRECT without them.  It would have been quite a bit higher with them in there.

So – here’s the UPDATED version.  Thank you – and I am SOOO sorry for the confusion!
