Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Many Blessings for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good mornin’, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month it’s all about Giving Thanks!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I saw a card a while back by Sue Mohr that created a wreath using punched and die cut leaves.  So, for today’s project, I decided to do one of my own.  I used the wreath from the Wishing You Well stamp set and added leaves created with the Leaf Punch and the Painted Harvest stamp set.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Painted Paisleys & Posies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and it’s going to be fun to see what everyone comes up with – will it be Thanksgiving?  Christmas?   Be sure to check ’em all out when you get done here!

Since today is Thanksgiving, I went old-school.  And I made a card for y’all – as a digital way to say “thank you!”.  I am so Thankful-Grateful-Blessed to have all y’all find my blog and follow me and become my customers and friends!  I’d be hard pressed to send each and every one of you a card (although I would if I could), so…squint yer eyes and know that this one’s for you!

I started by Fast Fusing a piece of the wonderful Wood Textures DSP to a Crushed Curry mat for the card front.  On a smaller piece of Very Vanilla, I began to build the art!

I made the Painted Harvest sunflowers with three colors.  The first layer is Peekaboo Peach – and I stamped that three times on each flower (be sure to rotate the image a bit between each stamp).  Then I used the detailed second-step image twice in Crushed Curry.  I finished it up by stamping the second image again – just one time on each flower – in Pumpkin Pie.

The centers are stamped in Crumb Cake – with Crumb Cake little “seeds”.  While I had it out, I added some more of the little three-dots image in Crumb Cake around the flowers.

I let that ink dry good and rubbed it with my Embossing Buddy.  Then I inked up the sentiment from Paisleys & Posies in Versamark and stamped it on the card front.  I sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated it up.  And then I Fast Fuse’d the panel onto the card front.

To make my pumpkin patch, I cut a large Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits die cut from Peekaboo Peach.  Using a Sponge Dauber, I sponged an area of Peekaboo Peach card stock with Pumpkin Pie ink – then I adhered the die cut pumpkin over that with Liquid Glue and fussy cut it.  I cut some pumpkin tendrils from Copper Foil with the dies in the Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits.  Finally, I stamped three detailed leaves images from the Painted Harvest in Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock and cut them out with the bundled Leaf Punch.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the leaves and tendrils to the card front and popped the pumpkin on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wrapped some Crushed Curry Solid Baker’s Twine twice around the card front, securing it in the back with scotch tape.  Then I made a Billie Moan bow with Linen Thread and secured it with more Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine.  I stuck it all to the card front with a dab of Liquid Glue and the card front was done.

On the inside, I added another Painted Harvest sunflower in Peekaboo Peach, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie to a Very Vanilla panel.  I made the middle with Crumb Cake and added more little “seed” dots around the flower, too.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Crushed Curry mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another Painted Harvest sunflower on the front…

…and a little more of the Wood Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Sunflowers from Painted Harvest and pumpkins from Patterned Pumpkins!  What a combination – perfect for Thanksgiving Day!  Hope you like – and know how grateful I am for each and every one of you! 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Neutrals Painted Hometown Greetings

Happy happy HAWWWWWMPP Day, y’all!!  And this is the day I head in to Salt Lake City!  I’ll meet Amy and Jari and Beth at the Stampin’ Up! Home Office and we’ll take a tour – check out where the magic (and the pickin’ and shippin’!) happen! Then it’ll be back to the hotel to get things in full swing on Thursday!

Meanwhile – I’ll be trying to switch back to “day walking” from two days of “night walking”….yawn! 😉

My card today is a layered confection of neutrals (like that?  “Layered confection”! LOL) using the uber-pretty Hometown Greetings Edgelits and a sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  Take a look-see:

I was playing along with the TGIF Challenge this week…

…but I brought neither card stock nor ink in Sahara Sand – so… I had to get creative.  I decided to add Gold Glimmer paper for one of the neutrals.

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla card stock for the card front.  Yes – the whole card uses Very Vanilla – not the Whisper White that it looks like in my pictures.  I have no idea what happened there… 🙁

The first layer of Hometown Greetings Edgelits die cuts is the Gold Glimmer layer.  Now – here’s a trick.  I had thought out the three layers I was going to use – so I decided I wanted to reverse one of the cuts.  I cut the Glimmer Paper layer by turning the paper upside down on the cutting platform.  When I cut it out that way, as soon as I turned it over (right side up) I had exactly what I wanted.  Take a look at that layer compared to the lowest Very Vanilla layer!  Same die….two looks!

I cut it out and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Next up, I cut my Crumb Cake layer and adhered it over the top of the Glimmer Paper with Liquid Glue.  Be generous and give it time to adhere.

The final layer is cut in Very Vanilla.  After I cut it out, I stamped the pretty sentiment from Painted Harvest in Soft Suede ink on the bottom, then I adhered it with Liquid Glue.  I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Soft Suede mat.

I tied a Linen Thread Billie Moan bow and adhered it near the sentiment with a Glue Dot.  Then I tied a double-strand “regular” bow with Linen Thread and stuck that on top.

I added a few gold heart Metallic Enamel Shapes and the card front was done!

On the inside, I got a little creative.  I cut a single Soft Suede panel and adhered a Very Vanilla Hometown Greetings Edgelits die cut over the top with Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped a sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set in Soft Suede in the top corner.  A gold heart Metallic Shape finished it off.

I Fast Fused the panel into my Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got some houses from Hearts Come Home in Soft Suede across the front.  I alternated between stamping “full strength” and “stamping off once”.  That gave each house a different look – using just one ink color…

…and I used the same technique with the two pine tree images on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  It’s pretty neutral – I hope! I love this little Hometown Greetings Edgelits die set – and it’s so pretty when paired with its bundled Hearts Come Home stamp set.  I like the color scheme for a Fall-kind of card, hence the Thanksgiving-ish sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set!  Hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Color Me Happy Watercolor Christmas

Good mornin’, y’all!  It’s Friday-Lite!  Which is a new term I just made up meaning…the calendar says it’s Friday, but the fact that I’ll be here working tomorrow, means…it really isn’t!  But – I do hope it’s a full-up Friday for all y’all and that you have some fun plans for the weekend!

Before we get going – let me make a quick plug for the Stampin’ Blends special bundles and Double Peppermint Ordering Special (for folks who order one of my bundles) going on now thru the 14th.  Folks are snapping these up – don’t miss out, okay?

For today’s card, I borrowed the pretty little flower image from the Color Me Happy stamp set (part of the Stampin’ Blends release and bundles) and added in a couple sentiments from Watercolor Christmas.  Take a look-see:

My layout comes from the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week.

And the colors and several elements were inspired by the photo at The Card Concept.  I’d call my card style Clean and Layered.

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock that I embossed in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF.  I toyed with a few designs from the Wood Textures DSP but just couldn’t make any of them appeal to me with the color scheme. 🙂

I matted the panel on Cherry Cobbler as the card front.

My sentiment, from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set, is stamped in Versamark Ink on Whisper White card stock, sprinkled with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed.  Then I matted it on Cherry Cobbler and adhered it to the card front with Fast Fuse.

To make my decoration, I stamped the flower from Color Me Happy in Versamark on a piece of scrap Whisper White, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it.  Then I colored it with the Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut it.

I stamped the detailed leaf image from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Versamark on Garden Green and heat embossed them in Gold.  Then I punched them out with my Leaf Punch.  I also cut a few extra berries with the Pretty Pines Thinlits – in Gold Foil and Whisper White.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the leaves and berries to the card front and popped the Color Me Happy flower on top with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a gold Metallic Enamel Shapes dot to the middle of the flower and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the sentiment.  To finish it all off, I tied a double-strand bow from Gold Metallic Thread and adhered it with a tiny dab of Liquid Glue.

On the inside, I stamped the solid leaf image from Painted Harvest in Garden Green up the side of a Whisper White panel. When it was dry, I stamped the second, detailed, leaf image over the top in Versamark and heat embossed that image in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I added a second sentiment from Watercolor Christmas in Cherry Cobbler, using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get it where it needed to be.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Garden Green/Gold Embossed leaves from Painted Harvest up the side…

…and I embossed the envelope flap in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF.

Et Voila!  This is such a pretty little flower from Color Me Happy – and when it’s colored with the new Stampin’ Blends (need to getcha some!), I think it notches up to gorgeous!  And I love the fonts in the beautiful Watercolor Christmas stamp set.  Hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Happy Birthday Eclipse

Mornin’, y’all!  I hope you’re ready for the week!  I am – cuz the quicker we get thru this week – the quicker it’ll be OnStage Week.  And then the week after that is the last week here!  Whoo-hoo!!

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me.  If not, but would like to watch the video on how to make this card, here’s the replay!

I used the Painted Harvest stamp set to lay down the background for this Eclipse-technique card and made it into a birthday card with the lovely Happy Birthday Thinlit.  Take a look-see:

It so happened that the TGIF challenge this week showcased the Eclipse Technique!

To begin the card, I made several flowers with the multi-step images from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I used the larger – less detailed – image and stamped it two or three times (rotating between each stamp) in Lemon Lime Twist.  Then I used the second image in Dapper Denim.  I stamped that one twice per flower – rotating it a little – and I didn’t re-ink between stamps on the Dapper Denim.  The middle of each flower is stamped in Daffodil Delight – complete with little dots.

I added some more of the little dots around the flowers in Daffodil Delight.

Next, I embossed the panel in the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF.

For the sentiment, I cut the Happy Birthday Thinlit die, offsetting it into the corner of the card.  IMPORTANT:  Save all the little cutout pieces!! 🙂

Then I matted the panel on Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

I cut three more of the Happy Birthday Thinlit shapes in Dapper Denim and stacked them all up using Liquid Glue.

Then comes the persnickety part.  Using Liquid Glue, I replaced all the little cut out pieces back onto the card front.  Take your time on this – it’s worth it in the end!  Here’s how it looks when all the pieces are back in:

Then I used more Liquid Glue and adhered the stacked sentiment.

I decided a few leaves were in order, so I stamped two of the detailed leaves from Painted Harvest in Lemon Lime Twist on some Vellum card stock.  When they were dry, I punched them out with the Leaf Punch and added them to the card front with a little Liquid Glue.  I made a Billie Moan bow from Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine and adhered it over the stems of the leaves with a Glue Dot.  Then I made a double Linen Thread bow and stuck that on top with another Glue Dot.   Finally, I added a Crushed Curry Glitter Enamel Dot and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added another Painted Harvest flower in Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight to a Whisper White panel.  And I pulled a sentiment from the Hug in a Mug stamp set, stamping it in Dapper Denim.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and into my Dapper Denim card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Painted Harvest flower on the front…

…and another one on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The lady who asked for this card – for her mother – said she loves flowers and bright things.  I do think this qualifies, don’t you!?  I love the eclipse technique and really like how Painted Harvest works so beautifully with it.  Hope you like! 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Painted Happy Birthday Eclipse Video Sneak Peek!

Good morning, my peeps!  Happy Sunday!

If you read yesterday’s post, you know I planned on doing laundry and cards, cards, CARDS.

Well – I did laundry.

And made one card.

And frittered.

You know frittering, yes?  My alarm went off at 5 so I could go to work.  A phone call cut that off.  But…I was awake.  So…

I took a bath.

And then I did the laundry.

Once it was done – I spent the rest of the day making one…single…card.  Which is to say I….worked on a card…took a little break…worked on the card….had some lunch…worked on the card…you get the drift.

When I had the card done enough to call it done enough…I “watched” movies on NetFlix.

Which is to say I slept thru several movies on Netflix. 😉

They were bad ones, though, so it’s okay.  That’s what bad movies are for – sleeping thru!!  Frittering the day away.

The card I did make is what we’re going to look at tonight on my Facebook Live video at 8pm Eastern.  Take a look-see:

As you might be able to tell – there’s a little Painted Harvest and the Eclipse technique!!

Here’s a link right to my Stamps-N-Lingers Facebook page!  I do hope you’ll be able to join me!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest Pumpkin Cat!

Happy Friday, y’all – when you read this, I’ll probably be on my way back to Utah.

Or not.  My jet lag has jet lag – I have no idea what time it’ll be anywhere I’m at today, so…you know what I mean!  When next you hear from me, it’ll be from Utah!

My card today uses an all-time favorite, the Painted Harvest stamp set, and I played with the Eclipse technique.  A couple of die cuts from the Patterned Pumpkin set and a few Cat Punches lent a hand.  Take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and, using the two-step flower image from Painted Harvest, stamped several flowers all across the panel.  I used three colors for the petals – Crushed Curry, Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie.  There wasn’t a lot of rhyme or reason behind the color combinations – I just played with the colors.

It’s not like there are any rules – just mix these three colors – two per flower.  Stamp each image a couple three times – rotating the image a little for each stamp. And you’ll be a flower-making rock star!!  Promise!

For the middles, I used Early Espresso – and stamped the large middle twice per flower, rotating with each stamp.  And then I added some little dots – also in Early Espresso – to each flower.

I used the Cat Punch and cut him from the bottom of the panel – and added some eyes in Early Espresso from the Spooky Cat stamp set.  Then I cut four more of him from Early Espresso and stacked them all together with Liquid Glue.

Next, I ran the panel thru the Big Shot with the large pumpkin die from the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits laid on the panel – and slightly overlapping the cut-out cat.  I made sure to keep track of the cut out-middle pieces.

Then I cut three more of the pumpkins from Early Espresso – and stacked them all up with Liquid Glue.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to an Early Espresso and Peekaboo Peach mat and used more Liquid Glue to adhere the stacked pumpkin back into its negative space.  Then I added the single-layer of the cut-out pieces back where they went in the die cut.  To finish it off, I added the stacked cat back in as well.  He sits a little higher than the pumpkin (due to having 4 additional layers versus the three under the pumpkin), giving the impression he’s sitting in front of the pumpkin! 🙂

I enlisted the help of the Gourd Goodness stamp set for the sentiment, stamping it on a strip of Peekaboo Peach card stock in Soft Suede.  I snipped banners in both ends, edged it with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker, and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Finally, I tied a bow with two strands each of Crushed Curry and Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twines and adhered it over a Billie Moan Bow made with Linen Thread, using a Glue Dot.  I added it to the card front and it was done!

On the inside, I made three more Painted Harvest flowers across the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel – again from Crushed Curry, Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie.  I added the centers with the Early Espresso.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to an Early Espresso and Peekaboo Peach mat and into my Crushed Curry card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another Painted Harvest flower on the front…

…and a few more on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love it!  Painted Harvest never fails to impress!!  And I love how it looks like the cat – when you can even see him!! – is sitting in a pumpkin patch, surrounded by beautiful flowers.  Hope you like!!

Stampin’ Up! Pick a Painted Patterned Pumpkin

Mornin’, y’all!  The calendar tells me its Friday, so…happy Friday! We’re drawing to the end of week 2 here in Utah (well, after tomorrow, that is!).  Only 5 more weeks and then home to the hubby and the ponies and kitties and Finn!! 🙂  In between – we’ve got OnStage!  I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone….and getting a sneak peek of what’s coming down the pike from Stampin’ Up!

Okay – today’s card.  Now, when I started to make it, I didn’t really plan on it becoming yet another collage card.

I figure y’all are about sick to death of collage cards – with flowers and/or pumpkins and/or leaves – from me.

I mean, seriously.  What a bore – same kind of card almost every day!

But.  It’s for sure in my wheelhouse – and I like them.

So – you have to cope with yet another collage card.  With pumpkins.  And leaves.  I do think it looks quite a bit different from previous ones, though, so let’s pretend I’m just showing you how to make different looks with the same tools!

For this one, I used my current Fall go-to Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits with an assist from Painted Harvest.  Take a look-see:

I played along with two challenges with this one.  The first, which inspired my layout, is from the Global Design Project, which is a CASE the Designer challenge.

And the second was a photo challenge from The Card Concept.  I used what I’d describe as a layered collage with a rustic flavor style! 🙂

I started with a piece of the Wooden Textures DSP and Fast Fuse’d it to a Pool Party mat.  For my sentiment, I used a darker piece of the same paper, and heat embossed – in White – the sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set.  Then I Fast Fuse’d it to a Pool Party mat.

I took a silver Foil Snowflake and trimmed it down a bit, then used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front.  Over that, I adhered my sentiment panel with Liquid Glue.

To make my collage, I cut a large and a star-filled pumpkin, using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits, from the same light-wood paper I’d used on the card front. I also cut a couple of the leaves in the same paper (same die set), as well as punching out a few leaves with the new Leaf Punch.

I colored the two Leaf Punch shapes with the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (coming soon!).  I also stamped a couple of pumpkins from the Pick a Pumpkin stamp set in Pool Party on Whisper White and cut them out with their matching dies from Patterned Pumpkin.

I made the star-filled pumpkin be more solid by adhering it to a scrap of Pool Party card stock and trimming the excess with my Paper Snips.

I used Liquid Glue to start layering up my collage elements.  Before I added the star pumpkin, I stuck a couple of silver Year of Cheer Embellishments on with Glue Dots.  Take a look – you can also see a few “spears” of silver Foil Snowflake nestled in there, too.  Then I popped the star pumpkin on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added the last little pumpkin with Liquid Glue.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and one of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine and added it with a Glue Dot to finish off the card front!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Painted Harvest in Early Espresso on more of the Wood Textures DSP.  Over that I added another couple of Pool Party pumpkins from Pick a Pumpkin.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Pool Party mat and into my Crumb Cake card base, Fast Fuse’d the front on, and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another couple of Pick a Pumpkin pumpkins on the front…

…and a little more of the light Wood Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This looks so similar – and yet so different! – from the cards I’ve been doing these last couple of days!  I hope you’re “getting” how handy and lovely the Pick a Pumpkin/Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits bundle really is – and either have it already or are busily placing an order for it!  Hope you like!

I promise to stop this collage-kick I’m on.

Well.

Probably!

Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Painted Harvest

Happy Hawwmp Day, everyone!  Hope your week is going well!  Mine is…going!  And it went in such a way that I had to eat a peanut butter pumpkin.  But I only had one.  And I was able to keep from eating any donuts.  Again.

Just sayin’.

My card today is the result of…”oh, you’ve got to be kidding me.  I didn’t bring Cherry Cobbler card stock?!?”.  I say that because I was half way done with the card and went to pull out said Cherry Cobbler card stock to cut my mats.  Why?  Cuz I was playing with the TGIF Challenge which is a color challenge using…Cherry Cobbler.  And, I’d already stamped my Seasonal Lantern sentiment and Painted Harvest flower using Cherry Cobbler.

So – I decided to substitute Cajun Craze (right after I put in an emergency, 2-day shipping order for Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry card stock.  Yea.  Forgot that, too).  But I decided that the stamping didn’t look bad – even with the disconnect between the two colors.  So I went for it! Take a look-see:

I was using the sketch challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch to help me with the layout.

And the color scheme is, as I mentioned, from the TGIF Color Challenge.

So – let’s all squint our eyes and pretend that the mats on this card are Cherry Cobbler.

I tried!

I started with a Crumb Cake panel and, using the fern-y leaf image in the Painted Harvest stamp set, stamped it all over in Crumb Cake ink for a tone-on-tone effect.  Then I laid a strip of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon across it – adhering it with a little Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Lantern stamp set above the burlap ribbon, in Cherry Cobbler ink.

Next up, I stamped the larger Painted Harvest flower image in Crushed Curry on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped it three times, inking and rotating the image a little bit with each stamp.  Then I used the inside image and stamped it a couple of times in Cherry Cobbler – again rotating it between the stamps.  I used Crumb Cake and stamped the flower inside image twice.

Say it with me…rotating the stamp a bit each time! 🙂

Then I fussy cut the flower.

I adhered a Delicate White Doily to the side of the panel with Liquid Glue then used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut off the excess.  Over that, I used a Foil Snowflake.

I smushed the vanilla side of the snowflake into my Versamark pad and then sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I heated it up!  I adhered it over the doily and trimmed its excess, too.

And here’s where I discovered the lack of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  So – I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Cajun Craze mat.  Then I wrapped a length of Jute Twine around it, securing it in the back with scotch tape.

I cut a pine bough in Crumb Cake, using the die in the Pretty Pines Thinlits.  Then I cut a second one from a piece of yellow Painted Autumn DSP.  Finally, using the die in the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits, I cut the leaf/berry shape.  These two pieces I smooshed lightly into my Crushed Curry ink pad to make them a little more curry-ish.

Then I build the collage with Liquid Glue.  For the flower, I put a few Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and used them to wind some Linen Thread looks around – then I popped it over the other elements.

I used my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker to add some “seeds” to the middle of the flower and then tied a bow from Jute Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  And that was it for the card front.

On the inside, I repeated the Painted Harvest flower in Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake in the corner of a Whisper White panel.  Then I added a few Crumb Cake leaves and Cajun Craze seeds.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Cajun Craze mat and into my Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Painted Harvest flower and leaves on the front…

…and I added a whole slew of Crumb Cake leaves on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I think it turned out okay.  I don’t even think the two colors actually clash all that much.  And, it’s hard to go wrong with Painted Harvest elements, don’t you think?  Hope you like! 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Labels to Love

Mornin’ y’all!  Getting ready for your week?  Me, too.

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video – thanks so much for spending part of your weekend with me!  If not, and you want to watch…here’s a link to it on YouTube.  Enjoy!

For this card, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and combined it with the super-versatile and pretty Labels to Love stamp set.  Plus a few other goodies.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this card come from the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I started by Fast Fuse’ing a large piece of the Painted Autumn DSP to a Peekaboo Peach mat for the card front and two smaller pieces for the middle DSP panels, which I adhered with a little Liquid Glue.

The middle panel is a piece of Very Vanilla, matted on Peekaboo Peach card stock and then embossed in the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF and adhered with Liquid Glue.

I made the Painted Harvest sunflower by stamping the larger image in Peekaboo Peach – twice (re-inking between stamps) – on a piece of Very Vanilla.  Then I added the middle image – in stamped off once Cajun Craze.  And I fussy cut it.

The leaves are stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green – the solid image in Lemon Lime Twist and the veins in Garden Green.  I made three of them, punching them out with the Leaf Punch that’s a part of this wonderful Painted Harvest bundle.

I adhered the leaves with a little Liquid Glue and a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then the flower with Liquid Glue to the embossed panel.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Labels to Love in Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla and cut it with a small Stitched Shapes Framelits circle die.  I matted it on a scalloped Peekaboo Peach mat, cut with the Layering Circles Framelits die, added loops of Copper Metallic Thread behind it, and then popped it on the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with a length of Linen Thread and two lengths of Copper Metallic Thread and adhered it with a little dab of Liquid Glue and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added another sunflower from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Peekaboo Peach and stamped-off-once Cajun Craze in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.  I added a center in Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green and added some Garden Green dots in the middle with the little dots image from the set.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Peekaboo Peach mat and into my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a third Painted Harvest sunflower on the front…

…and I added some more of the Painted Autumn DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love this little Labels to Love stamp set – it gives you so many occasions options – from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day.  And – of course  – Painted Autumn.  Don’t guess I really have to say much about it wonderfulness!  You already know!  Hope you like!

Finn-Fan Fix

Ladies – and gentlemen if you’re out there! – may I introduce to you – for the first time…

DN4682060  AKA (or should I say AKC?!) Finneus Deatherage

Yes – it’s true.  He’s an “official” dog now.  With a Dog Number and everything!

Somehow I thought that once he was “official” – he’d be a little less goofy!

But no.  He still carries around bunches of leaves and twigs.  Just cuz he…likes how they taste?

Nope – becoming “official” hasn’t gone to his head at all! Still the same little sweet, unpretentious kid!  🙂
