Good Monday morning, y’all!  Did you have a good weekend?  Even though we didn’t get the fence up and painted, we DID get all the veggies in the ground and our little teesy lavenders transplanted into bigger pots to see if they will….not die! 😉  And Sunday – the weather was so gorgeous it was…amazing!  AND – the pollen count was low enough that we had the windows and doors open all day.  Heaven!

And – not for nuthin! – Stampin’ Up! also announced that there will be a Clearance Rack update tomorrow!  The details are below!

My card today is another try at clean-and-simple.  It’s for a sketch challenge that is all about clean-and-simple, so I really tried to fill the bill!  I used some pretty Ornate Garden Specialty DSP (y’all – this is retiring soon and you can get a pack for just $6.00! – WOW!).  And I brought out the Ornate Thanks and Ornate Style stamp sets (this one is retiring, too!).  Plus…the Curvy Dies played a big part – take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Ornate Garden DSP that I matted on Terracotta Tile cardstock for the card front.

Next, I took a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it in half with one of the Curvy Dies.

I stampd the fleur-de-do corner image from Ornate Style in Terracotta Tile in two corners and then popped both pieces on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a length of Terracotta Tile ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack (this is retiring and you can get this two-roll pack for just $2.80!!).

I stamped an Ornate Thanks sentiment (THIS one is sticking around, y’all!) in Old Olive on a strip of Basic White.  Then I snipped banner ends and popped it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Ornate Thanks sentiment in Old Olive on a piece of Basic White.  Then I stamped the Ornate Style fleur-de-do’s again in Terracotta Tile.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Terracotta Tile mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more fluer-de-do’s on the front…

…and more of the Ornate Garden DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Isn’t this Ornate Garden DSP pretty, y’all!?  And – at SUCH a great price – be sure you’ve got some in your stash!  We’ll see Ornate Thanks and the Curvy Dies in the next catalog, but…if you love the Ornate Style set (and why WOULDN’T you?!?) – then you need to get it now!  It’ll be gone before you know it!
