Stampin’ Up! Painted & Perennial Simply Said Sneak Peek Birthday Card

Good morning and Happy “Total Eclipse of the Sun” Day”! Admit it – you sang that phrase like Bonnie Tyler, didn’t you?! 😂 Are you doing anything special? My friend is having a big party – they live in Ohio and are right under the path – with Moon Pies, Sun Chips and Blue Moon beer. If I lived closer – I’d totally crash that cuz it sounds like a great time!! As it is – we’ll go outside and watch cuz…you know – ECLIPSE! But – I DID see that in 2078 the path of THAT total eclipse will go right over Atlanta, so…you can bet we’ll go all-out for THAT one, for sure! 😉😉

I guess I should have made an eclipse card for today but…I didn’t! Instead – I made a Birthday card using some pretty things that are carrying over into the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog – the Perennial Lavender DSP, Painted Lavender stamp set and dies and (my fave!) the Perennial Postage dies. AND – I pulled out the brand new sentiment-only set called Simply Said! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Traditions of Saint Nicholas Christmas Book Fold with Video Tutorial

Good Sunday morning, y’all! Hope your weekend is going well. I did a little shopping yesterday for some last minute things. By which one could be forgiven for thinking that means it’s the last time I’ll go out or shop before Christmas.

Bwahahahaha! I wish! You’d have THOUGHT it was the LAST Saturday before Christmas instead of the FOURTH Saturday based on the crowd at Costco! Sheesh!

Speaking of the Fourth Saturday before Christmas (see how I did that?) – I made a fun book-fold Christmas card for last night’s edition of my Video Series. I capitalized that so you’d know how cool it was! 😎 This one featured some Traditions of St. Nick DSP – cut with a NEW goodie – the Perennial Postage Dies (which you can get in January!) – and a few sentiments and images from the retiring Saint Nicholas bundle. Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Walk in the Forest Christmas Card

Good morning and happy Black Friday!! Are you still a little full from yesterday’s dinner? I know I am – and I can still smell the smoker when I walk by it – which makes me want another bite of ham. How can I still be full AND want a bite of ham?! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Being Black Friday – there’s lots of good sales on and if you’ll read on after you check out today’s card – you’re going to see the Black Friday sale at Stamp-N-Storage, too! It’s a good ‘un! 🙂

So – card! This is a Christmas card with no front sentiment. Have you made any of those? I don’t do it a lot – but it’s fun every once in a while and sometimes a design really lends itself to that. This one, with some pretty paper from A Walk in the Forest DSP (retiring soon!) and trees die cut from that paper using the Merriest Trees die set (carrying over – along with the coordinating stamp set!) – makes for a quick and easy card!
