Stampin’ Up! So Sincere Magical Winter Meadow for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

For our theme today, the Winter Meadow DSP (thankfully carrying over!!) seemed like the perfect starting point!  I pulled out the So Sincere set for its cool sentiments.  Then – needing some foliage (hello??) – I reached back to the (soon-to-be-retired! 😔) Magical Meadow bundle!  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our theme!

The simple layout is from the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.

And I pulled some elements from the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge board, too! I went down the middle (Die Cut – Free – Thankful).  Down the right (Layers – Gems – DSP).  And across the bottom, too!

I started by adhering a piece of Winter Meadow DSP to a Lost Lagoon mat for the card front.

Next, I cut a second piece of the DSP into 1 1/4″ wide pieces.   I matted them on Lost Lagoon and, keeping the strips “in order”. adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the Magical Meadow dies, I cut two leaves – one in Lost Lagoon and a second in Pretty Peacock.

I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue – with the Pretty Peacock leaf going down first!

I tied a little bow from white Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock, I stamped the So Sincere sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink.

I used the smallest Nested Essentials die to cut out the sentiment and adhered it over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I added three Blueberry Bushel gems from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second So Sincere sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Basic White panel.  Over the top I stamped a Magical Meadow leafy image in stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lost Lagoon mat and into my Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Magical Meadow leaves on the front…

…and more Winter Meadow DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So…the Magical Meadow bundle – with it gorgeous foliage (stamped AND die cut!) is on the retiring list – which means….if you don’t have it yet…just get it now!  This is one of my fave sets and when it’s gone?  It’s gone!  Winter Meadow DSP AND the all-sentiment So Sincere set, with it’s plethora of perfect sentiments, will BOTH be around in the future – whoohoo!!!
