Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled Botanicals Hello Friend Card

Good morning and happy Work Week.  Sorry to jump right in with an oxymoron today! 😎

You guys all know that the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog AND the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog are retiring soon!  I’ve been “flipping” my craft room and was a little sad to pull the Inked & Tiled punch bundle and the beautiful Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP (one of my FAVES!) off my active shelf.  This is such a beautiful suite…and I wanted to use it one more time.  So.  I did!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

And the color palette is a more subdued take on this week’s Color Throwdown challenge palette.

I made a quick video on how to make this one – and posted it Instgram this morning.  You can see it on YouTube right here!

I started by adhering a piece of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of my Lost Lagoon card base using Liquid Glue.

I used the largest Stylish Shapes square die (these ARE carrying over – YEAH!!) to cut out a Crushed Curry square from the DSP – that I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut out two Inked Botanicals DSP banners using Stylish Shapes dies – adhered them together with Liquid Glue and then to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a few images from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Crushed Curry, Petal Pink and stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon inks.

I cut it out with the second-from-largest Deckled Circles die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On Basic White, I stamped the Inked & Tiled sentiment in Petal Pink and cut it out with one of the two Inked & Tiled Punches (also retiring!).  I also used the punch to cut out a Lost Lagoon “mat”.

I adhered the sentiment to its mat with Liquid Glue – and then used a Stampin’ Dimensional and a little Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment to the card front.

I added some Adhesive-backed Cork Rounds (yes – THESE are retiring, too – so…best stock up RIGHT NOW!) and the card front was done.

For the inner liner, I stamped the Inked & Tiled images in Crushed Curry, Petal Pink and stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel.

I adhered the panel to the inside of the Lost Lagoon card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Inked & Tiled images on the front…

…and more of the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Inked & Tiled stamp set is a perfect mix of great sentiments – in pretty fonts – and sweet botanical images for stamping.  The beautiful coordinating Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP complements the bundle perfectly, in sweet and subtle colors!  With it ALL going away (including those Cork Rounds!) – don’t wait to pick up the bundle and more paper!  I’d hate for it to sell out and you MISS out!
