Good Monday morning, y’all! It’s Monday again and I’m at T-2 days until Amy arrives! Whoo-hoo! And T-3 before we head to the land of beignets! And coffee made with nuts. Hmmm. One is a donut – good. The other is coffee. From nuts. Chicory, to be more specific. I am trying to withhold judgment. But….coffee. From…nuts. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ I hope that in a few days I’ll be shaking my head in amusement at myself and buying bags to bring home in the People Mover. One of the many advantages of driving vs flying!
I’ve got a quick and easy – and suitable for ANYONE! – card for you today. It uses one of my fave bundles from the Jul – Dec 2022 Mini – the Brightest Beauty set with the bundled Golden Beauty Dies. And…the amazingly wunnermus Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. All in earthy neutrals. Take a look-see:

My card today is a subliminal plea for cooler weather, I think! I mean – I’m ready to start complaining about being cold!! I used the pretty Harvest Hellostamp set – with the cool Rustic Pumpkin Dies (get these as a bundle with the stamp set and save yourself 10%!). Check it out!

I’ve got a really elegant card for you today (she says modestly!) that uses one of my new favorite bundles – the Decorated with Happiness stamp set and bundled Decorated Pine dies. I added some pretty Festive Foils and a little shot of shimmer with the Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We’ve got a wide-open sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I decided to swing to Halloween again for this one (don’t worry – STILL not a scary card, read on!) and pulled out the fun Scary Cute stamp set and bundled Scary Silhouettes Dies. And…I also used the Aspen Tree die. Take a look-see!
And here’s our sketch!
…and I got the idea to make a stencil from the Aspen Treedie thanks to the challenge from Just Us Girls.
I started with a black-and-Pumpkin Pie piece of plaid paper from the Gingham Cottage DSP that I adhered to the front of a Basic Black card base with Liquid Glue.
From a piece of Basic White cardstock – the color doesn’t matter, this is a stencil! – I cut the large Aspen Tree Die.
I secured a piece of Basic White cardstock to my work surface with a little repositionable tape runner, then used Blending Brushes to create some sky – with Crushed Curry near the bottom and Gorgeous Grape in the top potion.
I adhered the finished panel to a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.
From the middle of a piece of Celebrate Everything DSP (remember that this is a Host selection from the Jul-Dec 2022 Mini Catalog!), I used the outer window die from Scary Silhouettes to cut the hole.
Then I adhered it over the top of the stenciled panel with Liquid Glue.
I used the same Scary Silhouette die – plus the detailed die that nests inside it, to cut a Gorgeous Grape decorated window frame. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered it inside the opening on the card front.
I used five of the bat dies and the house silhouette die from Scary Silhouettes to cut out the shapes. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the house and the three smallest bats. I used Black Stampin’ Dimensional pieces to adhere the two large bats to the frame.
I stamped the Scary Cute sentiment in Versamark Ink on a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder. Then I heat embossed it with my Heat Tool.
When the embossing powder was cool, I used Paper Snips to cut each word. Then I adhered them to the card front with Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a few Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Scary Cute sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I added some bats from the set in Gorgeous Grape.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat and into the inside of the Basic Black card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Gorgeous Grape bats from Scary Cute on the front…
…and more of the Celebrate Everything DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! How cute…dare I say….SCARY CUTE!??!…is this bundle? I love that fun cut out from the bundled Scary Silhouette dies, don’t you!? And the Aspen Tree die made for a very cool stencil – I slid it inside the pocket with the die set so I can use it again in the future! I also don’t want you to miss getting a pack of the Celebrate Everything DSP – it really covers nearly every occasion for which you might need a card! My card today is quick. In fact, it’s so quick that I made three of them.
Okay – I did that because I made a Reel (aka a #short) out on Instragram for you and I borked the first go. Not the card – it’s WAY too easy to bork. The video. Half the silly thing was off to the side of the camera screen! 🤷♀️ Old dog. New tricks. But…I shall persevere. Heck – I learned to fly a C-5, didn’t I!? 😎😎😎
