Stampin’ Up! Last Minute Gift Ideas!

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! Hope your countdown to Christmas Day is going well. Our friends and I have narrowed down the menu for Saturday. The conversation went something like this:

Jan: So…what should we do for Christmas Dinner?

Me: Well, Thanksgiving worked pretty good, so…same but with our Prime Rib instead of turkey and ham?

Jan: Sounds like a plan.

Done! I mean – a round wheel is awesome. No need at ALL to re-invent it, right?? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤙

We also reconfirmed that we wouldn’t be exchanging gifts – we always get for the kids but not each other – in favor of going to dinner in the new year. Which we ABSOLUTELY WILL be doing this year!

Speaking of gifts…if YOU need a last minute gift – I’ve gotcha covered!

We’ve got an amazing new catalog coming out in a couple of weeks and any card maker would be tickled sideways to have a little mad-money to spend. So…maybe a Gift Certificate from me – in any amount! – would be an awesome option! 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Holly Jolly Christmas to Remember Gift Card Holder – with Video!

Good morning, y’all – hope your week is going well! I delivered the last of the cookie plates yesterday – and was able to have a nice chat with my friend, who I hadn’t seen for a while! We ended up agreeing that the four of us WILL have dinner sometime in January.

We even held our feet to the fire and specified….January 2022!! Way to commit, right??! 🙂

My card today is actually TWO cards – my last gift card holders of the 2021 gift-giving season. I like, and also hate!, giving gift cards. They’re always the right color – they always fit – they’re always “just what they wanted”. But…I feel sort of guilty giving them, too. I always feel like I should have dithered and stressed over the gift more. But…in lieu of that – I DO like to make a pretty gift card holder.

So…I used the carrying-over Christmas Season stamp set and Christmas to Remember Bundle, with some gorgeous (and ALSO carrying over – eventually!) Painted Christmas DSP. And – for one of the holders – I grabbed a sentiment from the RETIRING Holly Jolly Wishes set. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Sweetheart Sweet Conversations Sneak Peek and….a Fundraiser Winner!

T-5, y’all! And – I have some wisdom to impart. It’s about…lists. So – you make a list. You do the first thing and check it off. Then you do the next thing and check it off. Keep doing that and the list gets smaller until finally – you’re DONE!

Unless. Unless when you check something off the TOP…you add another something at the BOTTOM!

Another gift card needed. Another batch of cookies – “just in case”. Quick unplanned trip to the grocery. You get the picture. It becomes a never ending list!

On a brighter note – it’s gonna be Saturday pretty quick and then…the list will no longer matter! LOL

Last Day to Help AND Get Entered for a New Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!

For the last week or so I’ve been running a Fundraiser to help the people and animals so badly impacted by the tornadoes that swept thru Arkansas, Kentucky and Illinois last week. Most of us can’t go help in person. But we CAN help to fund the folks on the ground who are doing just that! I made a small donation and realized that WE could – together! – make a LARGE donation! 🙂

As we stand right this minute – between Direct Donations to Great Good and the 20% of the merchandise total that I’ll be sending tomorrow – our total donation will be $646.50! Whoo-hooo!!

Happy Sunday, y’all! Hope your weekend has been going well. I think – THINK! – all my need-to-mail things are…mailed. Mostly. Okay – so there’s one more package that’ll need to go tomorrow. But I’m SOOO close…I’m calling it good. And I got pretty much all the baking done. Unless I come across a recipe I just have to make. I always forget how much I enjoy baking until I’m back in the kitchen. How about you – is baking a happy-place for you? Or…? 🙂

Stamps-N-Lingers Fundraiser for People & Pets Affected by Devastating Tornadoes

Good morning again! This is my second post today – if you’re looking for the card I shared this morning and the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop – here’s a link right to it!

I know we’ve all been watching – or living – the devastation that swept thru the mid-west on 10-11 Dec 2021 with the long-track tornadoes. It’s hard to watch without wondering what we can do to help.

I know I can’t go help in person. Can’t load a truck and make in-person donations. But I CAN help to fund the folks on the ground who are doing just that! To that end, I recently made a donation to relief efforts for families and pets thru the Greater Good Organization. As I hit Submit on my small attempt to help, I realized that if a BUNCH of people make a SMALL donation – then it becomes a LARGE one!

So…like the fundraiser we did for the derecho in Iowa last year, I’m coming to you again to gather up some help for the folks in the Arkansas, Kentucky and Illinois areas most affected.
