Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Celebrate! We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
I decided to go straight up “celebrate” – even used the actual WORD in my sentiment from the new Happy & Heartfelt stamp set paired with the die cuts and images from the new Paradise Palms bundle and a little Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ DSP. These are ALL coming soon to customers in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:
You know – I made this as a congratulations card but…as I look at it in the pictures…change the sentiments and…I think it would make a stunning Christmas card! 🙂
I used the dies in the new Palms Dies (part of the Paradise Palms bundle in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog!) to cut two palm trees and some grass from Basic Black.
Using mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals under the palm tops and Liquid Glue on the trunks, I adhered the palms to a piece of the new Abstract Beauty DSP.
I snipped the extra fronds from the right side of the panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat for the card front.
I used more of the Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the grass Palms Die cut at the bottom of the trunks.
On a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the all-sentiment Happy & Heartfelt stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool.
When it was cool, I cut it with the scalloped oval in the Double Oval Punch.
I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment at the base of the trees.
A single Rhinestone Basic Jewel on the sentiment finished off the card front!
On the inside, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the trunk, palm top and grass on a Basic White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I added a second Happy & Heartfelt sentiment in Night of Navy. A single Rhinestone Basic Jewel was the finishing touch!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Paradise Palms images in Tuxedo Black on the front (using the Stamparatus again!)…
…and more of the Abstract Beauty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Yes – I know. I love this new Paradise Palms bundle, too! The images and die cuts are…amazing!
It’s got its own perfect sentiments – can you say retirement??! – but…I wanted to change up the focus, so I pulled out the Happy & Heartfelt set with it’s HUGE number of wonderful sentiments – in a beautiful font!
…and the Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ DSP (no – that is NOT a typo – it COMES 4″ x 6″!!) is fun with its gold foil images on one side.
I hope you like – and are making your lists and checking them over-and-over-and-over in preparation for this and all the amazing new products coming on 4 Jan 2022!! 🙂
