Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Today’s a color challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The color combo today is a pretty classic mix – blue, green and white. Very summery (in my opinion!). I decided to go floral with it – and play with the new and totally cool Blossoms in Bloom with the bundled Many Layered Blossoms Die set. This bundle will be available to customers on 3 Jun in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! Take a look-see:
And – here’s our challenge badge!
My layout was loosely inspired by this week’s challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches.
I started with a plain Whisper White panel and, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the large floral image from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set in Night of Navy. Then I matted it on Garden Green for the card front.
From another piece of Whisper White, I cut the large, more “solid” die in the Many Layered Blossoms Die set.
Using the more detailed die (on the right in the picture above), I cut it from Night of Navy and again from Garden Green.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the detailed Night of Navy die cut to the Whisper White die cut. Then I adhered it to the card front with more Liquid Glue – lining up the die cut with the stamped images.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the cut-out pieces from the leaves on the Garden Green detailed die cut into the negative spaces on the die cut already on the card front.
Then I wrapped a length of 3/8″ Denim Ribbon around the panel – adhering it in the back with Glue Dots.
I stamped a Blossoms In Bloom sentiment in Garden Green on a piece of Whisper White and cut it with a die from the new Tasteful Labels die set (also coming on 3 Jun in the new catalog).
I stamped a small flower from the Blossoms In Bloom set in Night of Navy next to the sentiment then popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the little flower – I cut a small solid flower from Whisper White and a detailed flower in Night of Navy and adhered them together with Liquid Glue. Then, lining it up with the stamped image – I popped it onto the sentiment die cut with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I added a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels in Night of Navy and Garden Green and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped some Night of Navy flowers and Garden Green leaves on a Whisper White panel. I even added a few Holiday Rhinestones, too!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Garden Green mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Blossoms In Bloom flowers and leaves on the front…
…and on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This is such a cool way to make detailed and colorful flowers – first stamping the images with the Blossoms In Bloom stamp set and adding the pretty die cut images from the bundled Many Layered Blossoms die set. Blossoms In Bloom also comes thru in the sentiment department – covering thank you’s, birthdays, Get Well and more!!
I hope you like! And if you want it RIGHT NOW – you can get it as part of a Starter Kit! Give me a shout and I’ll tell you how!
