Good morning, y’all! Can you believe that it’s almost the end of March already? I cannot. It feels like the Savings Are in Bloom sale and my DOUBLE peppermints started yesterday. But they didn’t and they’re both almost over. 😳😳😳

Good morning – happy work week! Did you have a good weekend? We really did – we got SOO much done in the garden. We’re almost ready to transplant the seedlings – they’ve been residing on the barn porch getting all hardened off and stuff! We’re growing a lot this year and I can’t wait to see them all in their new spot! AND – I got a new sourdough start from King Arthur’s Flour fed and bubbling and….started some more bagels, which I’ll cook today.

My card today is sort of appropriate for this time of year – rain and then sun – and then rain…sun…rain….

I got the idea – roughly – for this card while cutting all the pretty Shares papers! When the Flowering Fields DSP came up – my brain saw the sketch from the Global Design Project and…I had a starting point. As I worked with the paper and the sentiments from the Flowering Tulips stamp set – I bumped up my design as bit. It ended up NEEDING a few fun die cuts from the Windmill Fields die set – and a sweet little border on the inside from the bundled Tulip Fields stamp set. Take a look-see:

Just wanted to remind y’all that my fundraiser – supporting the K9’s for Warriors organization (the nation’s largest provider of Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from post traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma) – is ending tomorrow!
Here’s some info….
In addition to being a provider of Service Dogs to our military heroes, the majority of their K9s are rescued from shelters or surrendered by their owners. In saving these animals from abandonment or euthanasia, this great organization gives them purpose. Each pair who graduates from the program represent two lives saved – the Service Dog and the Warrior.

Well. It’s Monday. I’m sorry. But – Monday make the weekends even sweeter, right??
Next Saturday, I’ll be going to my honorary son and daughter-in-law’s baby shower. I just gave them that honorific! 🙂 Their tiny girl human is coming in November so…we’re getting close! I realized I’d best get on the stick with a card! So…I pulled out a fun sentiment set – called One Happy Family – and the gorgeous Celebrate Sunflowers with the coordinating Sunflower Dies!
