On to the business at hand! I hope that your weekend is going well. I succeeded in sleeping all the way to 8am this morning! Whoo-hoo! Now, on Saturday night, I’m trying to stay up late to start getting into the schedule for next week. It’s some kind of swing/mid hybrid. Leave at 1:15pm or so and get back 12 hours later. Y-U-K! But there it is – and, in fact, it is what it is, so…. 🙂
I made a couple more cards to share with my stamper ladies this afternoon. This one is a Valentine’s Day card that uses the Botanicals For You set (from the Sale-A-Bration flyer – you can only get it as a free item with a $50 or better order!) and the Sky Is the Limit set – also a Sale-A-Bration item. Hello! I hope that when this posts, I’m still asleep. Really asleep. Not that thing where I’m laying there and I know I’m awake but I can’t really move and don’t really want to. That I can’t hear any noises. No one calls me. Don’t have to go to the bathroom. Brain isn’t running thru a litany of things I need to get up and do! You know – dead-to-the-world.
Will be a tiny miracle! So, I’ll just hope to sleep until 7! Arizona time. Fingers crossed for me, okay?
So – I have a fun little thing happening tomorrow. One of the ladies from work here and a lady that found me on the SU! website is coming over to stamp for a little while. I think it’ll be fun! In the course of determining what we’ll be stamping and creating, I came up with this card. My friend from work is a complete newbie to stamping. The other lady is an experienced crafter – so looking for projects that will appeal to her, but not overwhelm my friend and make her wonder what the in the world she was thinking!!
Now, there’s a card in the Annual Catalog that I’d been meaning to do a riff on – and it seemed like this would be a great time. It’s easy peasy to make, but looks so cool that I think it’s going to work great! It uses the ever wonderful Butterflies Thinlits from the Annual Catalog and Greatest Greetings from Occasions. And Washi Tape! Take a look-see:
Good day-before-Saturday-which-I-actually-get-off! I’ll assume that you’re all looking forward to the weekend – and some sleep! – as much as I am. It’s been a long week, for sure.
In the midst of the madness, though, sits my Stampin’ stuff – quietly waiting for me to return to it for a few minutes of creative happiness! Just this morning, while making red beans and rice, macaroni salad and BBQ baked beans (potluck day at the office) in the postage stamp kitchen, I whiled away the macaroni-boiling time by working on a card for tomorrow! Nice way to wait for soft macaroni. Also – if I had returned to the bed….well. I might still be snoring there! 🙂
For today, though, I have a card that I made for you last weekend. It combines the new Occasions stamp set called Beautiful Ride and the Going Places DSP. Take a look-see:
Happy Huawp day, all y’all! Time is flying by – except for when it isn’t. I know that you know what I mean, cause I know that happens to everyone! It’s almost February. Hard to believe – but it’s true! And when it is…the Stamps-N-Lingers ordering special will be gone, baby, gone!

For today, I pulled out a new stamp set that I’ve been itching to play with. And also dreading! I’ve seen so many pretty cards – with superior art and coloring of these images – out on Pinterest…I’ve been a little afraid to throw my offering in the ring. But…I did it today! It’s the pretty new In The Meadow stamp set from the Occasions catalog. And I combined it with a sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set called What I Love. Take a look-see:
Aaaannnndddd…..it’s Monday again! Amazing how fast that came around this time – one day off just doesn’t really cut it! I shopped. I laundered. I made cards! I ate awesome Mexican food and had a truly wonderful Margarita. Then it was time for bed and back at it. Anybody else have a short weekend? Is it really even a weekend if it’s only one day? I don’t know. 😉
Now, for today, the stamp set I used is one that you’ve seen before – called Grateful Bunch. It has a few great flower images, and those images coordinate with a punch. That I stubbornly hadn’t acquired when last we looked at this set. But this time – I’m the proud new owner of the Blossom Bunch Punch! Can’t even sort of tell you how much quicker things go when you’ve got the right tools. As my friend is wont to say….you need to have the proper tool for the proper job! 🙂 So – with the right tools, I used Grateful Bunch and its matching punch to create today’s share. Take a look-see:

I went back to a beautiful stamp set that you can earn free in the Sale-A-Bration flyer, called What I Love. I really like the pretty 3-step rose image that is the focal point of that set. So I used it and combined it with a little Birthday Bouquet DSP from the Occasions catalog to make today’s share. And, since I needed to replenish Thank You cards, I tapped one of my favorite Annual Catalog sets – One Big Meaning. Take a look-see:
