Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! Hope the week is going well for you!
I have a pretty little Spring-y card to share with you today, using some of my oh-so-large stash of Delightful Daisy DSP and the so-pretty Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts stamp set. Take a look-see:
Good morning! How’s it going today? Do you have a good weekend planned? Hope so!
I did a quick and easy card today – very simple design, using an old favorite (well, not so very old, maybe!) – the Daisy Delight stamp set, bundled Daisy Punch and Delightful Daisy DSP – combined with a pretty sentiment from the Occasions stamp set called Charming Cafe. Take a look-see:
I used the color scheme from this week’s Color Throwdown. I love the Black/White/Any Color combination, don’t you?Continue reading →
But – I had a good weekend and I hope that y’all did, too!
If you were able to join me last night for my FB live video, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me! If not, but would like to see how I made these Spring-y little treat boxes, here’s the YouTube version!
I admit, I blatantly CASEd the heck out of this from Sam Hammond (aka Pootles) – she did a great video! You can see her version right here!
For mine, I used the gorgeous Delightful Daisy DSP from our Annual Catalog, and paired it with a sweet little sentiment from the A Good Day stamp set, which is in the Occasions catalog!Continue reading →
Good mornin’, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month it’s Celebrate Spring!! We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month! Speaking of – help me welcome Shirley Gentry and Nanette Tracy to the hop this week! 🙂
I decided to go flower-y for Spring! To that end, I dove into my stash of Delightful Daisy DSP and pulled out the so-pretty Flirty Flowers stamp set from the Annual Catalog! Take a look-see:
I borrowed from the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things for the layout.
I started with some pretty paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP, Fast Fuse’d on a Daffodil Delight mat for the card front.
My art work, from Flirty Flowers, is inked using the marker-to-rubber technique (color the elements of the stamp with your Stampin’ Write Markers to get multiple colors in one stamped image!) – with my Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive markers. I stamped it on a rectangle of Whisper White and matted it on Daffodil Delight.
I cut a circle from another piece of Delightful Daisy with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhered it with Liquid Glue directly to the card front.
I wrapped a length of Night of Navy 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow slightly off to the side. Then I popped the matted art panel over it all with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My sentiment, from Flirty Flowers, is stamped in Night of Navy on a piece of Whisper White and cut with my 1 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. I cut a 1 1/2″ Circle Punch mat from Daffodil Delight and popped the sentiment onto it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I popped that whole thing on with Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional.
To finish off, I nestled a Gold Faceted Gem in behind the bow and added some Daffodil Delight Enamel Shapes.
On the inside, I used my Markers again to color another flower image from the Flirty Flowers stamp set and added it in the corner of a Whisper White panel.
I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another of the Flirty Flowers flowers on the front…
…and a little Delightful Daisy DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Spring-on-a-Card! 🙂 And quick and easy thanks to some beautiful and – dare I say…Delightful!?! ;)…designer paper and the lovely little Flirty Flowers stamp set. Hope you like!

Mornin’, my peeps! Getting ready to Spring-forward tonight? I think we need to stay on Daylight Savings year round, don’t you? I heard that Florida was looking at doing that. If they do, perhaps a precedent will be set and more states (hey GA and NC, you listening?!?) will follow suit. I can’t think of any real reason for standard time any more, can you? I’ll be sorry to lose that hour tonight, but I’m looking forward to longer days!! 🙂
Some friends of mine recently moved to a new retirement community nearby and I wanted to make a card to send to welcome them to their new home! I love the new Flying Home stamp set, so I decided to create a little bird community. And since Flying Home doesn’t have any sentiments, I pulled a good one from the Host-exclusive In The City set. Take a look-see:
Happy weekend, y’all! Hope yours is going well so far. 🙂 I thought I had to work today, but…my guys worked extra long last night and at 6:30 we realized we’d get the whole, entire, beautiful two weekend days off!! Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-HOO!!! 🙂 I’m ready – and I know they sure are, too!
My card today is so quick and easy to put together – thanks to some beautiful Wood Textures DSP and Delightful Daisy DSP, a couple of stamped images from the matching Daisy Delight stamp set and some Circle Dies. Take a look-see:
This unusual layout was inspired by the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
And many of the elements were inspired by the inspiration photo from the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.
I had an Old Olive card base from a previous effort (that I ended up not using!) and it already had the front of the card base embossed in the new Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF. It seemed sort of perfect for this one, so I just pulled it back out to use! Sometimes it’s good to be a pack-rat!! 🙂
I started with a piece of Wood Textures DSP and ran it thru the Big Shot in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF, then I matted it on some Daffodil Delight card stock.
After that, it was just a matter of cutting the Daffodil Delight scalloped circle mats and picking and cutting my favorite papers from the Delightful Daisy DSP. I used the Circles Layering Framelits – making this a quick task.
Well…all but picking my favorite papers from the Delightful Daisy DSP pack. That took a minute – too many to choose from! 🙂
I adhered everything together and then to the card front with Liquid Glue.
For my sentiment, I stamped the pretty one from Daisy Delight in Old Olive onto a Whisper White strip, snipped a banner end and then edged the whole thing with my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.
I cut a piece of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon, cut the ends to a banner and attached it to my sentiment with a handheld stapler. It’s popped on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish off, I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and attached it with a little dab of Liquid Glue, then added some Old Olive Glitter Enamel Dots, and the card front was done!
On the inside, I used the pretty little flower stamp from the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamped it a couple of times on a piece of Whisper White. They each got a quick stem with my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker. Then I cut it with another Circle Layering Framelits die and matted it on a scalloped Daffodil Delight mat.
I matted the panel on a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more of the Daisy Delight flowers on the front…
…and then I added a little more of the Delightful Daisy DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Even without the Daisy Punch, this Delightful Daisy Suite is wonderful and gorgeous! And it combines so nicely with the Wood Textures DSP to make a quick and easy card. Hope you like! 🙂

Finn-Fan Fix…No more pictures from Wayne. Sorry! 😉
Good morning, y’all! Did you have fun yesterday when the new catalog went live in the Online Store?? I sure did.
My credit card, on the other hand, may not be thinking it was all that much fun! Poor little dude got a work-out!! LOL.
My card today uses a fun set that carried over into this new catalog. It’s called Layering Love and it’s a pretty one! I also used some of my favorite new Designer Papers from the Delightful Daisy DSP and the Wood Textures DSP Stack. Take a look-see:
I started with a piece of Calypso Coral design paper from the new Delightful Daisy DSP and matted it on a piece of Basic Black card stock.
The horizontal strip, also from the Delightful Daisy DSP, is next and I decorated it with the new Ticket Tear Border Punch (Available now – I love being able to say that!!). I cut both edges with the punch and then SNAILd it to a Basic Black mat and then onto the card front.
For my sentiment, I used a piece of wood-grain paper from the Wood Textures DSP and stamped it with the sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set. I colored the stamp directly with my Basic Black and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Markers.
To cut the Stitched Shapes rectangle, without an actual Stitched Shapes rectangle die, I used a square die and cut half at a time. Line the die at the top of the sentiment, leaving the bottom portion hanging off the end of the platform and run it thru the Big Shot. Then line up the “stitches” and repeat on the other hand. My friend Amy did a quick video showing how to do it – which you can see right here. 🙂
With that done, I SNAILd the panel to its Basic Black mat and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Calypso Coral heart Enamel Shapes and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added another Ticket Tear-punched piece of the Delightful Daisy DSP, matted on Basic Black, to a Very Vanilla panel. Then I stamped the tiny heart from the Layering Love set in Calypso Coral.
I SNAILd the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Old Olive card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a few more of the Layering Love hearts in Calypso Coral on the front…
…and a little more of the Delightful Daisy DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! It’s so easy to forget about the cool stamp sets that were in previous catalogs, what with the advent of all the new and exciting goodies! But this is a great set, with really pretty sentiments in beautiful fonts! And – of course – the paper. The PAPER!! Goodness me – so darned pretty!!! Hope you like!

Finn-Fan Fix…
I don’t even need to ‘splain this picture, I don’t think.
I wanted to quickly remind you that I’ve got a couple three openings left in my upcoming Online Host Clubs – these are great ways to earn host rewards! I’ve got all the details on my Online Host Club page, so check it out. And then get your name on the list!
Speaking of hosts…we found out that Stampin’ Up! will be offering an extra $35 in Stampin’ Rewards for qualifying orders or parties over $350 in June! We’ll get more details on the 30th, and I’ll be passing them on lickety-split. In the meantime, be thinking about how you’d spend an extra $35 of free money!
For today, I made a pretty, flowery and feminine card with the Wild About Flowers stamp set, and a few favorite goodies from the new Delightful Daisy Suite. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge.
I started with a beautiful piece of paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP and matted it on a piece of Peekaboo Peach card stock.
The next layer is a rectangle of Whisper White card stock. Using the images in the Wild About Flowers stamp set, I stamped several stems in Old Olive ink. Then I added flowers in Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder and Peekaboo Peach. I SNAILd the panel to a Peekaboo Peach mat and then onto my card front.
I used a length of Tranquil Tide 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon, looping it around and securing it in place with some strategically placed Glue Dots. This ribbon, available on 1 June, is just lovely – it’s thin enough to be pliable but it’s got enough heft to do what you need it to do! And it’s going to be available in all the new 2017-2019 In Colors! And – you could get a couple of yards in each color in my Catalog Shares. Check those out right here – still have a few spots open!
My flower is made from two punched Whisper White daisies that I cut with the Daisy Punch. I adhered them together with a bit of Liquid Glue and then stamped one of the flower middles from the Daisy Delight stamp set, in So Saffron ink.
My sentiment is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set, stamped in Tranquil Tide on Whisper White. I snipped a banner end and edged it with my Peekaboo Peach Stampin’ Write Marker.
I popped the daisy on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the sentiment with a Glue Dot. Over the middle of the flower, I added a new Gold Faceted Gem. And yes – that was it for the card front!
On the inside, I used the large stem from Wild About Flowers and stamped it in Old Olive in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the image off twice before stamping the panel. The flowers are added in stamped-off-twice Calypso Coral ink. I added a sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Tranquil Tide.
I SNAILd the panel to a Peekaboo Peach mat and into my Tranquil Tide card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a full-strength Old Olive and Calypso Coral flower on the front…
…and I added a slightly different paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP to the envelope flap!
Et Voila! I love this Wild About Flowers stamp set – the images are so simple and beautiful! And the way it just meshes with the Delightful Daisy is simply…wait for it….Delightful!! Hope you like and are anxious to get this new Suite in your hands!! And already have Wild About Flowers!!

Finn-Fan Fix…
Well – it spent a lot of the day raining here.
Almost-one-year-old Aussies love the rain!
And it’s never raining too much to play in and around the pond.
But, almost-one-year-old Aussies also know that our actions have consequences! He’s smart that way.
Good Monday morning, y’all! Welcome to the work week! Bleh.
That’s how I’m starting to feel about work. Just…bleh.
Thank goodness it’s still supporting my SU! habit or…might be time to pull the plug!
If you didn’t get to see my Facebook Live video from last night, here it is! Enjoy!
For today, I wanted to share another Clean-and-Simple card using the wonderful Eastern Palace bundle – the one that will be available in the new catalog. That’s the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallions Thinlits. If you remember, the super cool, super-value Starter and Premium Bundles – with the FREE goodies! – will only be available thru the end of this month! So…if you like free (and…uhm…who doesn’t?!) you might want to consider grabbing up either of those bundles right quick-like! The info is down below. This card uses the goodies in the Starter Bundle – but remember there’s even more free stuff in the Premium Bundle. Just sayin’…
So – I paired it up with some of the Delightful Daisy DSP (coming 1 June) and added a touch from the new Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (also coming on 1 June!) and…take a look-see:
And my color scheme is courtesy of the Just Us Girls Color Week challenge.
I started with a piece of the Night of Navy paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP and SNAILd it to the top of a Lemon-Lime Twist mat. This new bright color is an amazing accent color! For the bottom portion, I ran a smaller piece of Night of Navy card stock thru the Big Shot in the new Sparkle TIEF (1 June) and adhered it with SNAIL.
Using a piece of Whisper White card stock, I cut the Eastern Medallion die cuts. I laid them both out on the card stock at the same time – and added the largest smooth-sided circle die from the Circles Layering Framelits around both medallion dies. So I made three cuts with just one pass in the Big Shot!
Once my cut was made, I used the little accent image from the Eastern Beauty stamp set and stamped it around the outer edge in Tempting Turquoise. I added the sentiment, also in Tempting Turquoise, and the circle-of-dots in Lemon-Lime Twist, too.
I matted my medallion on a scalloped Lemon-Lime Twist mat, using Liquid Glue, and then popped it all over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done!
On the inside, I kept it very simple, just adding a second Eastern Beauty sentiment and more of the little accents images in Tempting Turquoise on a Whisper White panel.
I SNAILd the panel to a Lemon-Line Twist mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the little Eastern Beauty flourish in all four corners on the front, in Tempting Turquoise…
…and more of the Delightful Daisy DSP on the envelope flap. And…I may have added another couple of little flourishes, cuz I liked ’em! 🙂
Et Voila! This Eastern Palace bundle is just wonderful – so full of possibility – so many combinations! I just love it – and hope you like, too! Don’t miss your chance to get the big bundles while they last!

Finn-Fan Fix…
My puppy is kind of a goofball.
I think we’ve established that.
And I don’t mind. Goofy is fun.
But – when he starts doing things that make me feel like a dog abuser….I have to draw the line.
Poor poor puppy.
His parents won’t even give him a soft place to lay.
Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We’ve got a super color combination to play with this week – one of my favorites! – and I know all our ladies have made some beautiful projects for you. Y’all be sure to hop thru all their blogs when you get done here! 🙂
Here’s our colors!!
For my card, I pulled out another new stamp set – this is the Just Add Text set. And I combined it with some Delightful Daisy DSP and a few touches from the Background Bits Host-exclusive stamp set. Take a look-see:
I used the sketch at Mojo Monday this week to help me with the layout of this one.
I started with a Whisper White panel, SNAILd on Daffodil Delight for my card front. Then I used a piece of Old Olive paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP for the diagonal strip. I used a pencil to trace the diagonal cut I needed and cut it with my Trimmer. Then I did the same with a Daffodil Delight card stock strip for the mat. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the paper to the mat and then to the card front.
The middle layer is one of my favorite designs from the Delightful Daisy DSP, SNAILd on Daffodil Delight and then popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I used the beautiful stamped image from the new Just Add Text stamp set. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to put it right where I wanted it and stamped it in Night of Navy on a Whisper White panel. I used my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker to color the flowers and a combination of Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker and Old Olive Watercolor Pencil to color the leaves. Then I SNAILd it to a Daffodil Delight mat.
I wrapped some of the new Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Double-Stitched Ribbon around the panel, securing it with a Glue Dot in the front. Then I added a little bow with a second Glue Dot. Finally, I added a Night of Navy heart Enamel Shape and the card was done!
On the inside, I first stamped some little flowers in Daffodil Delight across the bottom of a Whisper White panel. These flowers are in the Background Bits Host-Exclusive set coming on 1 June. Over those, I added a Daffodil Delight-matted strip of the Delightful Daisy DSP.
I SNAILd the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more of the Background Bits flowers in Daffodil Delight across the front…
…and more of the Delightful Daisy DSP on the envelope flap.
