Stampin’ Up! Peace This Christmas Sheet Music for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  If you’ve been following along, you’ll be guessing this is sketch week – and you’d be right!  I feel sure that all our ladies have made some beautiful projects for you, so be sure to hop thru all their blogs when you get done here! 🙂

Here’s the sketch in question:

Since it’s June and hot and quite obviously summer, I decided to go ahead and make a Christmas card!  I’ve been just itching to use the new Sheet Music background stamp and so… I did!  And I added in a little Peace This Christmas and some Christmas Pines.  Take a look-see:

So to begin, I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and embossed it with the new Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF.  Folks – I’m really loving these new dynamic TIEFS – the embossed images are so deep and realistic!!  I’m sorry it’s so hard to see in the pictures! 🙁

Next up, I took a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the Sheet Music image on it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut it so it would leave some space at the bottom to allow my embossed Cherry Cobbler mat to show thru, and SNAILd it to the mat.

I wrapped a length of new Garden Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the card front and secured it in the back with scotch tape.

My sentiment, from the Peace This Christmas stamp set, is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on a piece of Very Vanilla and cut out with a circle Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I popped it over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I pulled out the carrying-over Pretty Pines Thinlits (thank you thank you, Stampin’ Up!!) and cut two pine boughs from Garden Green card stock.

Then I used the small pine cone image in the Christmas Pines stamp set to heat emboss a pine cone in Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I cut it with its matching Pretty Pines die.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the pine boughs and pine cone to the card front.  Then I tied a small bow from 1/4″ Copper Trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Peace This Christmas in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  I surrounded it with Garden Green pine sprigs – also from Peace This Christmas.  And, finally, I added a bow cut from Copper Foil, using the small bow die in the Pretty Pines Thinlits.

It seemed like it needed to tie to the front of the card just a little tiny more, so I made “stitches” with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker.  Then I SNAILd it to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another sprig of pine (Peace This Christmas) in Garden Green, and a heat embossed pine cone (Christmas Pines) in Copper on the front…

…and a couple of pine sprigs and Cherry Cobbler “stitches” on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Christmas in June!  Love love love the new Sheet Music background stamp.   Love love love the Pinewood Plank Dynamic TIEF.  And – my love for the Pretty Pines Thinlits is known far and wide!  Hope you like and are putting it all on your wish lists!!

Stampin’ Up! Pine Bough Christmas Greetings

Happy Tuesday and Day 2 of Online Extravaganza, y’all!  Hope you’re doing some shopping!  Don’t forget that I’ve got a great Ordering Special going on right now – be sure to scroll on down and get all the details!

Wanted to share a quick little picture of Finn-Chewie.

finn-watching-the-tub
This is what an-almost-6-month-old Aussie does when you take him in the bathroom with you while you take a bath.  Easiest way to keep track of His Busy-ness without putting him in the kennel.  He really didn’t think this was a “normal” activity.  He did, however, avail himself of a little tiny taste of the water.  And then I think he decided….”well, I guess I’ve been abducted adopted by a goofy-woman, so I might as well just chill and wait to see what she comes up with next!” 🙂

finn-by-the-tub
He’s developing into a nice little “go-with-the-flow” kind of guy – and that’s a heck of a trait for a little dog!  One of my favorite traits, actually! 🙂

Now.  Card for today.  You guys may notice that one of the items that’s on the Online Extravaganza list (at 30% off!) is the wonderful Pine Bough TIEF.  So I wanted to do a little something with that for you.  I added in some Christmas Pines and Pretty Pines Thinlits.  And, just cuz I have it, I used the Christmas Greetings Thinlits.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Cable Knit and Pines Noel

Hey, y’all!  Hope the weekend’s going well for you.  We had a bit of an….incident on Friday evening….

And it was totally on Wayne.

Not me.

For which I am oh-so-grateful!

When we feed the horses in the evening, we fill a container with Beet Pulp and Hay pellets and one with Alfalfa hay cubes, and fill them with water. Then they soak for an hour or so while everyone is eating their dinner.  Around 8:30 or so, we go back out, put the girls out in the pasture, and give the now-soaked-and-easy-to-chew pellets and cubes to Bo.

Did you know that horses’ teeth grow until the – essentially “run out”?  They wear them down with the grinding motion when they chew.  When they get old (Bo’s 26), the teeth stop growing – they “run out” – and then they don’t meet in the back the way they need to to chew hay or grass efficiently.  If they reach that point and aren’t supplemented, well….they die.  If you’re one of my horses, then your staff will always be there to provide easy-to-chew food.  It’s especially good if it’s $20 for a 50lb sack!  The staff loves that! 😉

Anywho….on Friday, I was busy blogging so I asked Wayne if he’d do the second round.  About 10 minutes after he left the house, my phone rang.

This is never good news.

I thought someone – likely Bo – was colicing (should there be a “k” in there?  I don’t know!) – and that we were in for a long night

Well.  We were in for a long night, but Bo wasn’t sick.  This is what I heard:

“I left the d%^& water on in the sink and it overflowed and flooded the entire tack room!!”

To which I responded “You’ve got to be kidding me”.

He wasn’t.

We spent the next couple of hours shop-vac’ing the tack room.  Our neighbor came up with his vac and we have two.  Also sucked the wet feed out of the sink – the culprit in the overflow.

Finn, meanwhile, was asked to stay on the golf cart.  Which he did.

Around 9 or so, his usual “bed time”, he….went to bed.

finn-sleeping-on-golf-cart
I’d shucked my hoodie and put it on the golf cart seat, so when he got tired, he just hopped up and made himself comfortable!

I know.  He’s ridiculously sweet.  And he’s got a bit of “couch potato” in him, which works well since his mom has a pretty good bit of that as well!

So that was our adventure on Friday!  Fun, huh? The glamorous life of horse owners! 🙂

I did actually make a card for you – guess you’d maybe like to see it?  For this one, I used the Christmas Pines stamp set and the matching Pretty Pines Thinlits, the Hang Your Stocking Thinlits, and the cool Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF.  Take a look-see:

cable-knit-pines-noel-4-stamps-n-lingers
This card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week:

fms-262-sketch

I started by embossing a Whisper White panel in the Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF.  BTW – Stampin’ Up! is bringing another of the “Dynamic” folders to us in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  The Hexagons Dynamic TIEF is part of the manly Urban Underground Suite.

hexagons-dynamic-tief-stamps-n-lingers
I can’t wait to emboss some Silver Foil with that to make a fun tool box card for Wayne!

But, I digress!  I embossed the Whisper White panel in the Cable Knit TIEF.  The next piece is a Cherry Cobbler die cut that I made using the Christmas Stockings Thinlits.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with some Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue – making sure I’d moved it far enough to the right to accommodate my art piece.  I snipped off the excess, and glued that to the left side of the card – to make it look like it’s as long as my card.  The die cut is actually sized for a 4 1/4″ card (so…portrait).

cable-knit-pines-noel-3-stamps-n-lingersThe art piece is made with the Christmas Pines stamp set and bundled Pretty Pines Thinlits.  First, I stamped the pine bough image in Emerald Envy and the second part of the pine bough image with Mint Macaron on Whisper White.  Then I cut out just a portion of the image using an oval die from the new and wonderful Stitched Shapes Framelits!  I cut a Cherry Cobbler scalloped oval with an Ovals Layering Framelits die and adhered them together with Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered it to the card front with a little more Liquid Glue.

cable-knit-pines-noel-2-stamps-n-lingers
My pine cone is made from some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, that I colored with my Gold Wink of Stella.  I don’t have any of the Gold Glimmer Paper – and I actually like this look better anyway.  It’s a little softer and a little more organic, I think.  I colored a large enough piece for the pine cone I needed and then I let it dry while I folded some laundry.

I could have used my Heat Tool, but I figured…how terribly domestic and efficient of you, Mary!  I was quite pleased with myself.  It was the whites load, too – my least favorite. 😉

I cut my colored glimmer paper with a die from the Pretty Pines Thinlits, and cut a backer from Early Espresso card stock.  I also cut a little Cherry Cobbler berry sprig.

cable-knit-pines-noel-8-stamps-n-lingers
I adhered the berries, then the pine cone with Liquid Glue.  Using a couple of Glue Dots, I added two Mini Pinecones, and then a bow made with the Bakers Twines in the Baker’s Twine Trio Pack in the Holiday Catalog.

And then I pulled the bow off and took it apart, cuz that was Garden Green Baker’s Twine and it looked wrong.  I remade the bow – this time with Emerald Envy Solid Baker’s Twine – and stuck it back on.  Then I SNAILd the whole thing to a Cherry Cobbler mat and the card front was done!

cable-knit-pines-noel-1-stamps-n-lingers
On the inside of the card, I did another pine bough from Christmas Pines – this time stamping each image off once before stamping it on the card.  I used Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron just like on the front.  I added a sentiment from the Christmas Pines set in Cherry Cobbler.  Then I SNAILd it to a Cherry Cobbler mat.

And then I tried to put my portrait-oriented inside liner into my landscape-oriented Emerald Envy card base.

Guess how well that worked?? 😉

I think I need to make more landscape cards – I go on autopilot and the next thing I know I have to re-do my liners!

cable-knit-pines-noel-5-stamps-n-lingers
I also cut a little Cherry Cobbler bow with the Pretty Pines Thinlits and adhered it with some Liquid Glue.  I SNAILd it into my Emerald Envy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and it was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another of the Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron pine boughs from Christmas Pines on the front…

cable-knit-pines-noel-6-stamps-n-lingers
…and I added the pine bough and a pine cone and bow to the back.  The pine cone is two-step – the back is Crumb Cake and the top stamp is Early Espresso.  The bow is in Cherry Cobbler and adhered with Liquid Glue.

cable-knit-pines-noel-7-stamps-n-lingers
Et Voila!  More of my favorite pine boughs and cones for Christmas – paired with the wonderful Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF!  Hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Presents, Christmas Pines and Cheer

Mornin’, y’all!  It’s the weekend again and I hope you’ve got big plans!  Or – no plan at all – and just going to relax and enjoy the time not-at-work.

My arrival home on Friday evening was met with wiggles and kisses, which was a pretty nice thing to come home to, don’t you think?

Obviously I mean from Finn…. 😉  Wayne didn’t wiggle!

It’s possible he’s grown in the two days I was gone!  Or I could just be imagining that.

Again – Finn.  Not Wayne! 🙂

My card for today is another Christmas card.  It was pretty quick and easy to put together – and uses some of the Presents & Pinecones and Warmth & Cheer Washi Tape.  When I added the Christmas Pines bundle, here’s what I got.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Tin of Tags for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

HappyStampersBlogPostBanner-2
Mornin’, y’all –  welcome to another edition of the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  It’s color week, and since we’ve opened up to using other challenges to help us with our designs, I bet we’re going to see a lot of fun projects.  Be sure to check out all the offerings of the Ladies-Who-Hop!

Check out the colors….

14100301_10210533903652139_5969113326752697811_n
And I found a fun sketch at Sugar Pea Designs! 🙂

sugarpea-19-sketch

Now – before I get to the card, I’ll give you a little peek at what Mr. Finn’s been up to.  Just a taste….

img_5323
…he was hot!  I’ll have some more for you tomorrow! 🙂

So, the color scheme really drove me towards the Presents & Pinecones DSP.  I know I’ve been using it a lot, but…it’s just so pretty (and it’s part of the buy-three-get-one-free sale)!  When I combined it with a sentiment or two from Tin of Tags, and some pine boughs from the Pretty Pines Thinlits, this is what I came up with.  Take a look-see:

tin-of-tags-and-pines-4-stamps-n-lingers
I started with an Early Espresso card base to compliment the pine cones in the DSP.  The first thing I did was to run my panel thru the Holly TIEF, to emboss the actual front of the card base.  It added some texture to the card front – and even looks cool from the inside!

tin-of-tags-and-pines-8-stamps-n-lingers
The next thing was to SNAIL two panels of the Presents & Pinecones DSP to Cherry Cobbler mats, and then to the card front.

My sentiment, from Tin of Tags, is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White.  Then I cut it with a Circles Layering Framelits die.  I matted the sentiment circle on an Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron scalloped circle mats.

tin-of-tags-and-pines-3-stamps-n-lingers
The largest mat under the sentiment is a Delicate White Doily.  First I colored it in Cherry Cobbler with a Sponge Brayer – then I cut the Doily with another of the scalloped dies in the Circles Layering Framelits.  I SNAILd all the pieces and parts together, and then to the card front.

My embellishment is a couple of Emerald Envy pine boughs cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlits.  I also added a shorter Mint Macaron bough and a couple of Cherry Cobbler berries.  I used Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front.  To finish it off, I added a little bow tied with 3 lengths of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.  I used Glue Dots to adhere two Mini Pinecones, then topped them with the Cherry Cobbler bow. And that was it for the card front!

tin-of-tags-and-pines-9-stamps-n-lingers
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Tin of Tags in Cherry Cobbler on a Whisper White panel.  Then, in the bottom corner, I used the berry die from Pretty Pines.

tin-of-tags-and-pines-5-stamps-n-lingers
Then I SNAILd the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat – and the berries got their color!  Finally, I SNAILd it into the Early Espresso card base and the card was done.

tin-of-tags-and-pines2-stamps-n-lingers
For my Whisper White Medium Envelope, to compliment the stars in the inside sentiment, I went with the stars image in the Christmas Pines stamp set, stamping it in Cherry Cobbler on the front…

tin-of-tags-and-pines-6-stamps-n-lingers
…and added some more Presents & Pinecones DSP to the flap.

tin-of-tags-and-pines-7-stamps-n-lingers
Et Voila!  This is one of my favorite color combinations for Christmas – and I kind of love how my Doily turned out!  Hope you like!

Be sure to check out Tin of Tags if you haven’t – it’s a really great set of sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines Simple Joys for CAS(E) This Sketch

Good morning – again!  This is my second post for the day – if you’re looking for my Happy Stampers Blog Hop card, check it out here!

I was honored and amazed when the talented ladies over at CAS(E) This Sketch asked me to be a Guest Designer for them!  Wow.  That’s kind of a big deal.

I accepted with gratitude – and trepidation!  So, here’s a little life lesson I’ve learned.  When you’re doing something big – like this was for me – you don’t pick this time to think outside of the box.   I mean, yea – there’s a time and a place for getting out of that box, but for me, this wasn’t it!  So, I ran into my wheelhouse, slammed the door behind me and huddled with my back in the corner.  Holding my This Christmas DSP, and the wonderful Christmas Pines bundle in front of me for protection! 🙂

Here’s the sketch they asked me to design to…be sure to head over there and check it out, okay?

cts-192-sketch
And – using the aforementioned protective stamps and thinlits and designer paper – here’s what I came up with.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Home Sweet Home Tin of Tags

Mornin’ y’all!  We’re headed into the week when Fall arrives.  I know this because I have a huge hankerin’ for apple cider.  The kind in the refrigerator section – not in the shelves.  Or better – at an apple orchard somewhere in north Georgia!  The thick kind – that you can’t see thru.  So close to the apple that you almost have to chew it!

But you don’t.  Cuz of how it’s….liquid.  And if you boil it down to a thick syrup – you can make apple cider caramels.  Mmmmm.

Today (Sunday night), one of our neighbors apparently thinks it’s already October.  Cuz they’re burning leaves.  In the evening.  And the smoke is hanging thick in our pastures and around the barn.  And I’ve had to use my inhaler twice.  Hopefully our neighborly phone call to request that they extinguish said smoldering leaves will bear fruit (see how I made that connection?  apples?  fruit?) and she’ll douse it all the way.  And then hopefully the smoke will dissipate.  Please cross your fingers!

So, like I told you the other day, we had our Amy’s Inkin’ Krew meeting today.  I’m going to show you the fun projects we made, using the Sweet Home bundle, plus some Peaceful Pines, a little Tin of Tags, and….well.  Take a look-see:

Really – how cute are those?  The little house is a product of the Home Sweet Home Thinlits – the base is made in Crumb Cake and then we used Garden Green and Real Red for all the decorations.  This is a chock-a-block Thinlits set – it’s got 22 dies.  Everything you see has a die – with one exception.  The stripe-y strips are fussy cut.  We stamped them in Real Red on Whisper White and just quickly snipped them out.

Biggest tips for making the house: you cut two of the largest dies, and then adhere the two pieces together with convenient tabs.  You should cut out the windows and door before assembling the house, and it’s easier to decorate it before it’s put together, too.  Then use Tear & Tape Adhesive to assemble the house.

For the card, we used a piece of Soft Sky card stock, and stamped the snowy image from Christmas Pines all over it in Soft Sky ink, then SNAILd it to a Whisper White mat.

The sentiment is from Tin of Tags, and it’s heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I stuck one little Rhinestone Basic Jewel up there in the corner, just for ducks.

Now, the house.   Do you guys watch the show called Fixer Upper?  On it, an uber-talented couple in Waco, TX remodel homes for folks down there – taking the very worst houses and turning them into marvelous homes.  She uses shiplap a lot – and it’s wonderful.  With Crumb Cake ink, we added the “shiplap” image from the Sweet Home stamp set down a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.  Shiplap even looks good on a card stock house, huh?

Then we cut out one of the large Home Sweet Home die cuts and snipped out just the house portion.  Using the window die, we cut a window in the “eave” and a Whisper White window “frame”.

home-sweet-home-tin-of-tags-2-stamps-n-lingers
I adhered the frame to the house with some Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue, and then stuck a piece of So Saffron card stock behind it (to make the room appear lit up!).

The door is stamped in Real Red and cut with its matching die, then adhered with Liquid Glue.

We made the banner over the door by stamping the image from the Sweet Home stamp set in Real Red, and the banner image in Garden Green, and cutting it with its die.  See?  I told you there’s not a lot of fussy cutting required with this bundle!  The banner is adhered with Liquid Glue, as are the two stripe-y strips for the roof.  And I had a Garden Green gumdrop leftover from my house, so I stuck it up there in the peak of the roof!

home-sweet-home-tin-of-tags-5-stamps-n-lingers
The snow is a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, cut with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits (is this not like the most versatile thinlit set ever?!?), and adhered to the bottom of the panel with a little Liquid Glue.  Then I popped the house over it all with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and that was it for the card front.

On the inside, I stamped some more Soft Sky snow from Christmas Pines across the top of a Whisper White panel.  The sentiment, from Peaceful Pines (Annual Catalog), is stamped in Real Red.

home-sweet-home-tin-of-tags-6-stamps-n-lingers
I SNAILd the panel into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the card was done!

On the Whisper White Medium Envelope, I stamped more Soft Sky Christmas Pines snow across the front and the back flap…

home-sweet-home-tin-of-tags-7-stamps-n-lingers
aaaand you totally can’t see the Soft Sky snow on the envelope.  Sorry!  You’ll just have to take my word that they’re there.  You know I’m not going to be putting out any nekkid envelopes, people! 🙂

Et Voila – one giant bundle, plus a few sentiments here and there – and you’ve got a card and a darling little 3-D house!  What’s not to love?  Hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves & Pines for the Fall/Halloween Blog Hop

14191940_10210720964928554_1945697424832510820_n

Mornin’, y’all – welcome to another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. We’re doing a Theme Hop and today celebrates the arrival of Fall and Halloween!  That kind of leaves things wide open, so I’m betting you’ll see all sorts of projects today.   Do take the time to check them all out when you’re done here! 🙂

My ode to Fall has fall leaves – courtesy of Vintage Leaves and the matching Leaflets Framelits – and pine boughs and cones from Christmas Pines and the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits.  It gave me a card that really represents Fall at my house!  We’ve got pine trees and oaks and poplars and maples – so we have a good mix of green and fall colors when everything starts to change.  Take a look-see:

I based my design on the sketch from Mojo Monday this week.  Sketch #465:

mm-465-sketch
You can see I flipped the sketch upside down…

I started by embossing a Crumb Cake panel in the Woodgrain TIEF and SNAILing it to a Crushed Curry mat.  Over that is a Crumb Cake rectangle embossed in the Petal Burst TIEF.  Before I ran it thru the Big Shot, I inked up the embossing side of the folder with Versamark and then laid my card stock in, and embossed it.  When I pulled it out, I sprinkled Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder over it and heated it up.  That put Copper in all the spaces between the embossed petals!

I rounded the corners with my Project Life Corner Punch and then matted it on a Crushed Curry mat – which had been rounded with the Envelope Punch Board.  I SNAILd that to the card front.

I then wrapped a length of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon, a length of Rich Razzleberry 3/8″ Ribbon from the Trio Pack in the Holiday Catalog.  Finally, I wrapped some Gold Baker’s Twine around three times – securing it all in the back with scotch tape.

Next came pine boughs, cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlits.  I cut some from Old Olive and some from Always Artichoke, and adhered them with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

vintage-leaves-and-pretty-pines-3-stamps-n-lingers
I made three Vintage Leaves – stamping them in Versamark Ink on Very Vanilla.  Then I sprinkled the two oak leaves with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and the maple with Gold.  After I heat embossed them, I sponged them with Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzelberry inks.  Then I cut them with their matching Leaflets Framelits!  I gathered their stems together, adhering them into the shape I wanted with Liquid Glue and then adhering them over the pine boughs.

I cut a “ribbon” from Rich Razzleberry card stock and adhered it to the top of the leaf cluster.  Then I cut a Pretty Pines pine cone from Copper Foil and added that.  Next came a Mini Pinecone embellishment and a double bow of Gold Baker’s Twine – both adhered with Glue Dots.

Finally, I made a sentiment leaf.  I first stamped the leaf in Tangerine Tango (stamped off once) on Very Vanilla and sponged it with some Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry.  The sentiment, from Endless Thanks, is stamped in Early Espresso.  I cut it with the matching Leaflets, and nestled it into the leaves with Liquid Glue.

I added three Rich Razzleberry small round Enamel Shapes to the side of the card front, and it was done!

vintage-leaves-and-pretty-pines-2-stamps-n-lingers

On the inside. I stamped the same Vintage Leaves leaf that I’d used for the sentiment in stamped off TWICE Tangerine Tango in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I quickly made a sticky note mask and masked the leaf, then I stamped a pine bough cluster from Christmas Pines – the first image is in stamped off TWICE Always Artichoke and the second is in stamped off TWICE Old Olive.  Then I added a second Endless Thanks sentiment in Early Espresso.

vintage-leaves-and-pretty-pines-5-stamps-n-lingers
I cut another – smaller – Pretty Pines ribbon from Rich Razzleberry and adhered it to the panel.  Then I SNAILd it to a Crushed Curry mat and into my Rich Razzleberry card base.  I popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done! 🙂

For my Very Vanilla Medium Envelope, I repeated the stamped off twice leaf and pine boughs – re-using my sticky note mask! – on the front of the envelope, in the exact way I’d done it for the inner liner…

vintage-leaves-and-pretty-pines-6-stamps-n-lingers
…and on the envelope flap, I used the card stock from which I’d cut the Pretty Pines boughs as stencils, and added some Old Olive and Always Artichoke boughs with my Stampin’ Sponges!

Et Voila!  This one marries up a couple of my very favoritest bundles – Vintage Leaves and Leaflets and Christmas Pines and Pretty Pines!  Hope you like! 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Wisteria Wonder Perfect Christmas Pines!

Mornin’, y’all!  It’s Friday.  Before a 3-day weekend – the last big one of the summer!  If you’re headed somewhere this weekend, please be safe!  And have fun!  And watch out for Hermine.  Is Hermione copyrighted?  Does an “o” cost more?  I don’t know – I’m calling it Hermione anyway.  That’s the hurricane hitting Florida today.  She should be gone by the weekend proper, so you’ll be good…

So.  A little story.  About a 1000 million years ago, before the internet…okay, there was internet, but I didn’t have a blog.  Heck, I wasn’t even a demonstrator!  About a 1000 million years ago, I saw this card on the internet.  Don’t think Pinterest was around….

Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves, Pines and Paisleys for Thanksgiving!

Made it to another weekend – my, how time does seem to fly!  Is it because I’m getting older…or is it because I have company coming in 27 days?  Or…what do y’all think?  I mean, seriously – it feels like I’m gonna blink and it’s going to be Christmas!

In 2025!! 🙂  Sheesh.

So today’s card is probably going to annoy you guys a little – cuz I called on my new favoritest stamp and Thinlit set – the Christmas Pines bundle from the 2016 Holiday catalog.  I can’t help it very much, y’all – I just flat love this set.  So…I’m gonna use it!  I did combine it with another great set – the Vintage Leaves stamp set and Leaflets Framelits.  And, once again, the new Paisleys & Posies stepped in to give me a sentiment.  Take a look-see:
