But – what I DID get done was…SIX super cute gift card holders. I love giving Gift Cards at Christmas – always the right size – the right color – exactly what they need! But…I hate just sticking it in a card. So I like to make fun gift card holders. The ones I am currently loving have a surprise hidden slider mechanism on the inside! I decorated them with North Pole Delivery Specialty DSP and the Jolly Delivery stamp set, Modern Christmas Specialty DSP and some pretty Ephemera, and Elegant Pines DSP with Delicate Pines sentiments and die cuts! My card today is one that we made at our Retreat last weekend – Linda Nye brought this as her shoebox swap and it is SO cool! It featured the gorgeous Night Divine bundle and Shining Brightly Specialty DSP – and I added a few goodies from the Stars at Night Bundle, too. It’s a stunning votive easel card…take a look-see!

I pulled out a little sumpin’-sumpin’ that some of us demonstrators got to get our hands on WAAAY early! It’s the Square Pillow Boxes from the Jan – Apr 2024 Mini Catalog! Yes. It’s almost time for a NEW catalog! Now – there’s lots of things you can do with these fun 3-D treat holders – but…I decided to turn one into a treat holder/Christmas Ornament. I used the Joy of Noel Dies and some of the Christmas Classics bundle to get it done! Take a look-see:
Good morning! I hope you’re having a great weekend! The baby shower yesterday was very nice – everyone had a great time! My desserts were a hit and – most critically! – I re-found a maple recipe that had been a favorite a few “events” back. I thought I’d used a “maple” recipe – and had NOT been able to find it to re-create it. It turns out – I had MODIFIED a recipe – without annotating the mods. I have remedied that! To quote a famous literary figure – “As God is my Witness, I will NEVER lose that recipe again!” Okay – maybe not a DIRECT quote… 🤷♀️🤷♀️😂
