Good morning and happy happy Hawwwmp Day! Hope your week is going well! This is my last day at home – and as you can imagine I am TOTALLY ready to go! Bwahahahahahaha!!
Regardless of my readiness (of lack thereof) – I’ll head to the airport bright and early tomorrow – fingers crossed that the security lines aren’t just cray-cray! Then by tomorrow afternoon – we’ll be in our first OnStage session – whoo-hoo!
I made a quick and easy – and SUPER cute (pats herself modestly on the back!) – card with the sweet-as-can-be Cute as a Bug DSP and coordinating Sweet Bugs bundle. Take a look-see:
I know. I know. Too cute! 😉
I did a quick video on how to make this card – which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by adhering a piece of Cute as a Bug DSP to a Basic Beige mat for the card front.
Next, I cut a 3″ x 3″ piece of Cute as a Bug DSP into three 1″ x 3″ strips. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the strips to a 3 1/8″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock. Tip: Adhere the left and right strips first – establishing the normal mat reveal on the tops and sides. Then adhere the middle strip – splitting the distance.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the matted strips to a 3 1/4″ x 3 3/8″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock – and then to the card front.
On a 1″ x 1 7/8″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the Sweet Bugs sentiment in Poppy Parade ink.
Then I matted the sentiment on Mossy Meadow cardstock.
I adhered the matted sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the die in the Sweet Bugs die set, I cut out the fun little bee right from the Cute As a Bug DSP and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Mossy Meadow Natural Matte Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the little bee from Sweet Bugs in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic Beige panel. I colored the image with the Light & Dark Daffodil Delight and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sweet Bugs bee on the front…
..and more of the Cute As a Bug DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – this Cute As a Bug DSP is going to go down as one of my faves ever – it’s the perfect combination of beautiful AND cute-as-can-be! And then when you add in the Sweet Bugs bundle – with its added feature of being able to cut out images FROM that DSP – you’ve got yourselves a real keeper!
I hope you like! 🙂
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below! And as mentioned above, I posted a quick video on how to make it out on Instagram. Here ’tis on YouTube if you’d like to take a look-see.

RETIRED SHOP UPDATED THIS WEEK!
Last week, Stampin’ UP! Updated the Last Chance Store and the Discontinued List. So…my Retired Shop got a big influx of new (used!) goodies!
Here’s the deets:
– Most of the items are gently used, but are in very good condition. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, packs of Designer Series Paper are “full” packs.
– All stamp sets are cling mount or photopolymer.
– Shipping is $8 per order no matter how much you purchase!
– The items are first come, first served so try to go through the checkout process as quickly as possible so that you don’t miss out on any of the items that you want (the store doesn’t have a way to “hold” things in your cart for you). If you notice that an item is no longer available when you go through the checkout process, that means that someone else has purchased it and it’s sold out.
– I can only ship to addresses in the US (or to military APO addresses) and USPS tracking will be included
– Items were added to the “Out of Catalog” and “Kits” categories – but be sure to check the other categories, too, if you haven’t in a while!
Happy Shopping!
Stampin’ Up! has some exciting changes coming in the new catalog!
Price Increases Coming
Stampin’ Up! is committed to providing high-quality paper crafting products and a great overall experience—without compromising the quality that Stampin’ Up! is known for. At the same time, they carefully consider costs and other important factors. To do this, they regularly review our pricing based on the cost of doing business, global exchange rates, rising supplier costs, and market comparisons.
Due to higher production costs, please expect price increases in the following product categories:
– Select Stampin’ Cut & Emboss product
– Heat Tool
– Cutting & Scoring Blades Multipacks
– Select Coloring Tools
– Storage
– Select Adhesives
– Select Paper products including Envelopes, Basic White Notecards & Envelopes, and Masking Paper
– Designer Series Paper
– Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads and Refills
– Stampin’ Blends
– Select Embellishments, Twines, and Linen Thread
– In addition, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will also see an upcoming price increase.
We not been given details yet on the specific price increases for the catalog items, we’ll see what we see when we get our hands on the new catalog later this month. If you’ve been considering purchasing anything on the list, be sure to order before the current catalog ends to get the lower pricing. 😎
Changes to the Upcoming Catalog Timelines
Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way they share products in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping from their catalogs easier and more intuitive. Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, they are moving to three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own. No more overlapping catalogs!
Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples (core products)—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place. This balanced approach creates an easy-to-shop print experience, all within a catalog released every four months:
– January–April
– May–August
– September–December
These seasonal catalogs are designed to put products front and center, making it easy for you to browse, discover, and shop by product category.
I’ll be getting to see the new May-August 2026 Catalog SOON (like…next week when I attend OnStage out in California) and I can’t wait to see the new catalogs moving forward. I think this new streamlined approach is going to be a really good thing!
New Magnetic Ink Pads – and a peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!
Beginning in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! will introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design.
– In 2026, only the new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.
– In 2027, all ink colors will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned color revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out.
Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.
The photo above is an early peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors! And they look beautiful!! The NEW Magnetic Ink Pads in the NEW 2026-2028 In Colors will be available to order 5 May 2026!
Check out the new In Colors!

Aren’t they so pretty?! I’m looking forward to getting to preorder these – SOON! – so I can show them to you “in person”!!
