Happy Friday, y’all! I’d like to make another plug for permanent, every-week, all-the-time, FOUR-DAY WORK WEEKS!!
Who’s with me!? 😉
So – in the mail yesterday I got two ginormous brown boxes with the Stampin’ Up! logo all over the sides! Yep – all my Shares goodies are IN THE HOUSE! If you ordered a share (you know who you are!!), I’ll be chopping and cutting and winding today and thru the weekend and will get your goodies in the mail quick as I can do it! You’re going to love what you receive!
One of the goodies – for those of you who ordered I Want It All or DSP shares – is the new Festive Farmhouse DSP. I used some gorgeous plaid paper from that pack – and I sheshe’d it up a bit with a couple of stamped images and die cuts from the new Beautiful Baubles and bundled Detailed Baubles Thinlits. Take a look-see:

My layout was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

I went with one of my favorite color combos – Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow. With some glittery Copper tossed in for good measure. I love the glitter against the vintag-y Crumb Cake and plaid from the Festive Farmhouse DSP, don’t you?
To begin, I matted a piece of the Festive Farmhouse plaid paper on a Crumb Cake mat for the card front.

Next I took an asymmetrical piece of Crumb Cake card stock and embossed it in the new-and-awesome Corrugated Dynamic TIEF. Then I tore the edges – making it even more assymetric. I tap-tap-tapped all four edges on my Versamark Pad, sprinkled Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder on them, and heated them with my Heat Tool. Then I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the panel to the card front.
Note: I highly recommend Tear & Tape when you’re trying to stick a Corrugated DTIEF panel to anything. I suspect you’ll be much happier with the resulting stick-to-it-ive-ness than if you use SNAIL or even Liquid Glue!

Next up, I cut two die cut shapes from the new Detailed Baubles Thinlits from a piece of Copper Joyous Noel 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper. I adhered the lovely large circle to the card front with Liquid Glue.
With my 2 1/4″ Circle Punch, I cut a Cherry Cobbler circle and adhered the smaller ornament to it with Liquid Glue. Then I popped that onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from Beautiful Baubles, is stamped in Versamark on Crumb Cake and heat embossed with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Then I cut it with the little label die in the Night Owl Thinlits.

I edged the banner with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker and then adhered it with some Liquid Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a couple of Mossy Meadow pine boughs with my Pretty Pines Thinlits, and a couple of Copper Glimmer Paper boughs from the Night Owl Thinlits and adhered them with Liquid Glue. Then I added a little bow tied with Cherry Cobbler Twine from the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine pack.

On the inside, I stamped the large ornament from Beautiful Baubles in Cherry Cobbler on a Whisper White panel. Then I added a second sentiment in Crumb Cake.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crumb Cake mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Beautiful Baubles ornament in Cherry Cobbler on the front…

…and I added a little more Festive Farmhouse plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila! I love all the texture on this card – the plaid Festive Farmhouse DSP and the Corrugated Crumb Cake panel. Add in the Coppery Glimmer from the Detailed Baubles die cuts and…some Mossy Meadow pine boughs? Yep. I hope you like!
