Good morning, y’all. It is September 11, 2021. Twenty years ago – do you remember where you were? What you were doing? What you were feeling? I do. And I always will. I know this is a somber day for anyone who is old enough to remember the day – and, I hope, for the young folks who should be learning this pivotal piece of our Country’s history. Take the time today to reflect and remember, would you? It’s a day that changed all of us forever.
Good morning and happy happy Friday! Got another weekend on the horizon, huh? Do you have some fun plans? I’m going to make the journey north to get my hair cut so that I’m all fixed up for our Krew Team retreat NEXT weekend! I’m really getting excited to see everyone. And…eat a lot of good food that I don’t have to cook OR clean up after! Eat…Craft…eat…craft….eat…sleep – repeat! How awesome does that sound?? 🙂

I pulled out a new stamp set called Thinking Thanks & Peace (it’s a bit of a flyover, so you may have missed it on Page 62 of the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini) and added one of the big bold sentiments to some Cork Specialty Paper. Then I cut a whole YARD’S worth of Beautiful Leaves die cut leaves in various Fall tones. Take a look-see:

Good morning, y’all – did you have a good Labor Day? I ended up getting a lot done – cleaned, sliced and froze a bunch of baby Portabella mushrooms (did you know you could do that!?), bagged and froze the shredded cheese, finished a card tutorial for SplitCoast Stampers, did a Zoom the Craftroom and made a card for today! So….good day all the way around!
My card is a CAS creation (no – I am fine, thank you for asking!) that features the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set from the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog, a little foliage from Hand-Penned Petals (2021-2022 Annual Catalog) and…some FREE Beautifully Penned DSP (from the Aug – Sep Sale-a-Bration catalog!). Happy Labor Day, y’all! So…I was thinking. Why on LABOR day do some of us take the day OFF?? Doesn’t that seem a little….backwards? Or is that just me?
