Stampin’ Up! Video Tutorial Sneak Peek

Hey guys!

Well – my haircut was good and uneventful. Even given that Mr. Trump was in town which made the normally awful traffic even more awful-er. Which isn’t a word but y’all for certain sure know what I mean. It only took me an hour and 45 minutes to make the 45 min drive home.

Yea. That happened.

But – done! 🙂

So – tonight I’m going to be live at 7pm eastern on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB Page and we’re going to play with some leaves and boughs and maybe a technique or two. Sound pretty loose-y goose-y? Well – maybe ’tis! Here’s a kinda-sorta sneak peek!

Stampin’ Up! Angled Snowman Season!

Mornin’, y’all! Well – Friday again! Whoo-hoo! I’m headed north today to get my hair cut – in preparation for next week’s OnStage! I’m excited for that – it’s always great to see friends from around the country – and we’ll get to see (and order from!!) the new Occasions Catalog, too! Can you believe it’s almost time for that!? That means it’s almost 2020.

Where are the flying cars?!? That’s all I want to know. I’m pretty sure George Jetson promised flying cars by now… 😉

Anywho – more on OnStage as we get closer!

My card today is ready for Christmas! And snow. Which I hope we do NOT get. No offense to snow or folk who love snow, but…I’m WAY okay without it! But – that does mean that the only snowmen I’m going to be able to make are in paper. Thankfully I’ve got the Snowman Season bundle and some cool and frosty Let It Snow Specialty DSP. Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Wrapped in Plaid Pine Tree

Hey y’all – happy Hawwmp Day!

Wow – yesterday turned out WAY differently than I’d anticipated! My PLAN was to get a couple of cards done and get the house picked up a bit. I have a friend from my “old life” coming over this afternoon and I want to do some ribs and show her the place and maybe make a quick card with her. And I wanted to do it in a clean house!

Instead…I spent the day with a friend at the hospital. This past weekend, her dad had an appendectomy – not quite emergent, but….close! – at the age of almost 90! So I went to the hospital today to help navigate and interpret and generally be the squeaky wheel.

I’m a pretty good squeaky wheel at the hospital – I know the lingo and the way things work. So it was an easy thing to offer and do. But – like all things associated with hospitals – it took….all…..day.

When I finally got home after 6 – with no card for today, no blog post for today, and – most critically – no dry-rubbed ribs, and no tidied up house!….well – I had to decide what to do.

And…I made a card! LOL! THAT was easy and fun, so…I took the path I was going to LIKE! And since I’d been plotting the card in my head all day, it came together quickly with the wunnermus Perfectly Plaid bundle and Wrapped In Plaid DSP! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy So Thankful!

‘Sup, y’all? Are you having a good week? I am starting to settle down and enjoy being retired, I think! We spent yesterday getting some shopping done, having lunch at Costco and wandering thru Sams. Then we came home and watched a movie.

All without checking work e-mails or worrying about a meeting in the afternoon! It sort of didn’t suck! 😉

I did settle in enough to make a card to share with you – and it’s a super easy one – using one of my favorite design techniques – angled panels. And I did it with the pretty Beauty & Joy stamp set. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Christmastime is Here Fun Fold Gift Card Holder

‘Sup, y’all! How did the Fall-Back go for you? It’s 7am here. But really 8. So – you should be wide-awake and perky! Your dogs and cats and ponies are looking at you like – what the HECK!! – but…YOU got an extra hour of sleep.
