Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Wrapped in Plaid Ho Ho Ho!

Morning, y’all! Are you checking out the Year-End-Closeout bargains and determining which of the Retiring and Discontinuing goodies you need to add to your stash before they’re gone? I hope so – don’t be risking losing them forever! 🙂

My card today uses a stamp set and punch that IS carrying over – the Perfectly Plaid Bundle with its Pine Tree Punch! But – when next you see it – it will NOT be a bundle – and you will NOT be able to save 10% on the purchase price. So…if you don’t have it yet…get it before the end of the Holiday catalog!

I mean – unless you LIKE spending extra money??

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Wrapped in Plaid Pine Tree

Hey y’all – happy Hawwmp Day!

Wow – yesterday turned out WAY differently than I’d anticipated! My PLAN was to get a couple of cards done and get the house picked up a bit. I have a friend from my “old life” coming over this afternoon and I want to do some ribs and show her the place and maybe make a quick card with her. And I wanted to do it in a clean house!

Instead…I spent the day with a friend at the hospital. This past weekend, her dad had an appendectomy – not quite emergent, but….close! – at the age of almost 90! So I went to the hospital today to help navigate and interpret and generally be the squeaky wheel.

I’m a pretty good squeaky wheel at the hospital – I know the lingo and the way things work. So it was an easy thing to offer and do. But – like all things associated with hospitals – it took….all…..day.

When I finally got home after 6 – with no card for today, no blog post for today, and – most critically – no dry-rubbed ribs, and no tidied up house!….well – I had to decide what to do.

And…I made a card! LOL! THAT was easy and fun, so…I took the path I was going to LIKE! And since I’d been plotting the card in my head all day, it came together quickly with the wunnermus Perfectly Plaid bundle and Wrapped In Plaid DSP! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Stamptember and Six Wrapped in Plaid Pine Trees

Saturday was a great event down in Middle Georgia, called Stamptember. There were a LOT of people there – including Tanner Smedley – our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Development Manager for the SE region!

He spoke for a little while, giving us a little insight into some new goodies coming down the pike from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin’ Up! Wrapped In Plaid Pine Trees

Good morning and happy weekend! Hope you’ve got something fun planned! 🙂

I’m headed down South a piece to a “Stamptember” event! There’ll be a group of Demo’s from the SE – and some folk from SU! in attendance. We’re going to stamp (duh!) and eat and probably kibbitz a lot! I think it’ll be fun! The downside, though, is that it’s enough of a “piece” there and back that I won’t be able to do a video tonight! 🙁 But…I’ll try to post pics of the event on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page throughout the day as I’m able! 🙂

My card for today is perfect if you’re trying to avoid inky fingers for a minute. That’s right – no stamp was inked in the making of this card! I used the wunnermus Wrapped In Plaid DSP, the Pine Tree Punch, a die from the Word Wishes die set and…some 1/2″ Classic Weave Ribbon. Take a look-see:
