Stampin’ Up! Smooth Sailing Home with Video Tutorial

Posted on June 6, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Hey, y’all – how’s the weekend going? We had rain yesterday – which we rather desperately needed. And it cooled it down for a bit – sort of like a swamp cooler does – cooler AND more humid! 🙂 But the plants and veggies were all mostly glad for a drink – and I was glad they got one that I didn’t have to give them!

So – if you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live, I sure appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me! If not, but you’d like to watch the replay to see how to make this card, here ’tis! Oh – and I DID also share some sneak peeks of the goodies from the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog that I got while we were in Maui. Just sayin’!

When I sw our colors, I was a little stymied for a minute. Mojo-fail? Jet Lag? No telling! But – my brain finally kicked in and I decided to give the new Hats Off Bundle a go! And I paired it with some cool and masculine In Good Taste DSP. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats, Big Cats Birthday

Posted on June 2, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope your week is going well! We’re getting back in the swing – even sort of getting onto the sleep cycle that befits our location (versus Island-time!). I’ve even gotten on the treadmill two mornings in a row – today is Day 3! Yeah me!

I hope you’re all taking advantage of the Last Chance Sale – remember that’s all WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. So…like when you see something at Costco – don’t think “we’ll get it next time” cuz….might not be there when you get back! 😉

My card today is a little on the wild side. Wild Cats, that is! And I paired this “wild” set with the bundled Big Cats Dies, cool In the WIld DSP and the Animal Print Embossing Folder – to have a little creative fun! Take a look-see:

Posted on May 31, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Happy Monday, y’all! I’m back in the saddle.

If the saddle is on my sofa. Or the bed! Hard to get back on East Coast time for sure – we’d just adjusted to HI time and…back on the airplane! So – I’m spending time chilling with Finn – who is ALSO trying to get over HIS vacation! He’s been snoozing a lot since we got him home on Saturday afternoon! 😉

Before I share what I have to share…I want to remind you that THIS IS THE LAST DAY to take advantage of the amazing Join+ Joining special! You can pick $155 worth of goodies for just $99 plus tax – and we’ll foot the shipping! THEN – you can be all savvy, and place your first Demonstrator order and take advantage of the amazing ordering special! Yes – that’s TWO “amazings” in one paragraph. THAT’S how you know this is truly…yep. AMAZING! So – don’t miss out!

Okay. Onwards!

While we were in Maui on the Incentive Trip – we got the new Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog. AND – we got to see a bunch of cool projects made with the new goodies in the catalog! I snapped some pictures of them and thought you might like a look-see!

Stampin’ Up! To The Moon for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Posted on May 27, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got sketch challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I pulled out a sweet little stamp set – called To The Moon – with it’s pretty lunar images and Love-You-To-The-Moon-And-Back sentiments to play with to make a card I sent to our friends on the announcement of a new tiny human on the way! 🙂 And I combined it with a little paper from the Pattern Party DSP (this is the pack that has 40 sheets of paper that you can get for FREE with a workshop or order over $150 in retail!). Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Friendship Thank You

Posted on May 26, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Wednesday is dawning like all the rest here in Hawaii – beautiful! And a little more humid than it was in Maui. It rained here yesterday which was…surprisingly surprising! We knew this was a more tropical-rain-forest-y environment but…it still took us a little by surprise. It was pretty, though – only part of the sky was cloudy so there was sun and rain all at the same time! 🙂

My card today uses the pretty Encircled in Friendship bundle with the fun Encircled in Beauty Dies. All on top of some pretty Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP with a Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper die cut boost. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Updates from Maui and…Kauai!

Posted on May 25, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Good morning and happy…Tuesday? Already!?! Sheesh – time is flying for our trip – we’ll be headed home before we know it! 😳😳😳

But – we’re still enjoying our time with Amy and Lance! On Saturday evening, we went to the Farewell Luau and had a wonderful dinner and entertainment with the other achievers! The venue was right by the ocean and was gorgeous (THAT’S the Department of Redundancy Department for sure!)!

Stampin’ Up! Sunny Sentiments Spiral Symmetry Hello

Posted on May 24, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Hello from Kauai! We made the island-hop successfully – Maui to Honolulu to Kauai – yesterday. Then hit Costco and the grocery to get provisions for the AirBnB. Which is really nice AND has a spectacular ocean view. I think we’ll do just fine! Have some plans to hike and see the grotto and the National Park while we’re here!

My card for you today is a little different than my usual fare – a little outside my comfort zone – and features several fun new sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. A Spiral Dye background lends some fun to a Sunny Sentiments….well…sentiment! A few stylized florals from the In Symmetry stamp set finishes it all off. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate With Flowers Artistically Inked Birthday Card

Posted on May 21, 2021 by stampsnlingers

Good morning from Maui! I can hardly believe it’s Friday already! 🙁 But today we’re headed out bright and early to go snorkeling at Molokini! I am excited – and yes, a little nervous. Wayne and I did a Snorkeling demo the other day in the hotel pool, just so I’d be at least a little familiar with the equipment and the how-to. I think I sort of got it – but…guess we’ll see this morning! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ We ALSO did a SCUBA demo. WAYNE loved it – and he and Lance did a longer dive class – out in the ocean! – on Thursday and are going to dive with the turtles on Saturday.

Me? Nope. SCUBA not for this girl. I’ll stick to paddling on the surface, thank you very much! 😉

My card today is totally non-aquatic! I used the fun Celebrate with Flowers stamp set – with its vertical Happy Birthday sentiment – and the pretty Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP and Ephemera Pack. Take a look-see:
