Hey y’all – it’s Sunday, which means I’ve got another fun challenge for you from the Paper Players – it’s a theme challenge from Ann – and it’ll for sure jump-start your creative mojo! I hope you’ll come and play along. 🙂
If you were able to join me yesterday for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending some of your weekend with me! If you weren’t able to watch the live version, but you’d like to see the replay on YouTube…here ’tis! And – fair warning – the video is 1 hour and 20 minutes – but…the card making is pretty fast. The bulk of the video is a sneak peek at my pre-order from the 2020 Aug – Dec Mini Catalog – which will be available for customers to order on 4 August!
I used the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack, plus some World of Good Specialty DSP and images from the Beautiful World stamp set to create my fun-fold for you today! Take a look-see:
And here’s this week’s Paper Players Theme challenge! Hope you’ll join the fun and show us your projects! I can’t wait to see what you create!
This is a really cool fun fold – it’s just a Gate card with a few extra panels – but it will really impress your recipients! 🙂
I started with an Early Espresso card base of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ that I scored and folded at 2 1/8″ and again at 6 3/8″ on the long side.
Next, I matted two pieces of the World of Good Specialty DSP on Cinnamon Cider card stock and adhered them to the gates with Liquid Glue.
I trimmed-down two of the smaller cards in the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack, matted them on Cinnamon Cider card stock and adhered them to the gates with Liquid Glue. The top one is adhered on the left-side gate and the bottom sentiment panel is adhered only on the right-hand gate.
I added a single Star Designer Element to the sentiment panel and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Beautiful World in Misty Moonlight. Then I stamped the globe images in Cinnamon Cider in two corners. Another Star Designer Element finished it off!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat and into the card base and that was it for the card. 🙂
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a couple more Beautiful World globes in Cinnamon Cider on the front…
…and more of the World of Good Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The World of Good Suite is a wonderful place to start when looking for masculine card ideas – and when you use them on this so-easy interlocking gate card fun fold….you’ve got a real winner! I hope you like! 🙂

What do really big and furry dogs do in the dog-days of summer?
They sit right in front of the A/C vent and let it blow up their pantaloonies, of course! 😉
