Stampin’ Up! Sunny Days Filled With Happiness Front Flap Birthday Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning – and happy Friday! Hope you’ve had a great week and are headed into a good weekend!

I was recently invited to be a Guest Design Team member for the Creative Creases Challenge. I said yes, cuz…it’s ALL fun folds ALL the time! Right up my alley!

The challenge goes live every other Friday at 5am Eastern and…the theme is….Anything Goes with a Fun Fold! I hope that y’all will start letting your fun-fold-flags-fly and join in each week!

For my card today, I used a super simple fun fold that’s one of my faves – a Front Flap Fold. And I showcased a “fly-over” stamp set called Filled With Happiness from the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog. Stampin’ UP! Alphabet Perennial Painted Lavender Sneak Peek Thank You

Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving-eve! Are you doing all the cooking and prepping today? I’m getting BOTH my pressure cookers fired up for potatoes, making pimento cheese and deviled eggs and a pumpkin dessert. And Brussels Sprouts – using a recipe we had at our retreat (they’re so yummy that people who said – “I HATE brussels sprouts” went back for seconds!!). So – busy day!

Since I promised that our Thursday videos would showcase a new pretty from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog…but we’re not DOING a video tomorrow – I decided to give you a sneaky look TODAY! And – I even did a short video, too!

For this one – we’re looking at the Painted Lavender Suite – the Painted Lavender stamp set and Perennial Postage bundle (one of my favoritest new things!). Stamps-N-Lingers Packaging Stock Up Sale Starts Today!

Good morning, y’all! Happy Tuesday!

We’re getting closer and closer to November (it’s like…a week from tomorrow!). AND – we’re creeping up on Thanksgiving – and Christmas! – aren’t we? I can’t believe it’s ALREADY that time of year. Didn’t we JUST take the Christmas Tree Down??

But – regardless of our mental preparedness for it – it’s coming!

Are YOU ready?

You’ll be awfully impressed to know that…I totally am. I have all my shopping done – my Christmas cards are all made, addressed and ready to mail. I have wrapped all the gifts I’m giving in a manner that would make Martha Stewart pea-green with envy and awestruck with admiration. I’ve planned my menu for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve AND New Year’s Day. AND I’m developing a new recipe for a romantic dessert for Valentine’s Day.

Whew! If absolutely even ONE part of that had been anything more than total and complete fiction from the mind of a crazy woman then….I WOULD. BE. AMAZING!

No – I’m for sure not that far ahead and I’m sort of assuming that you aren’t either! But – that ticking clock you hear in your head says it’s time to be thinking about the gifting – packaging – mailing you need to do, am I right?

So…I’m here today to help you with PART of the Holiday-Season-Prep-Frenzy with….my annual….

My card today is a quick and easy – and yet very elegant and beautiful! – Christmas card. It showcases one of the wunnermus new papers in the DSP Special Releases – called the Tartan Foil Specialty DSP. I used it – in Lost Lagoon – as the basis for a little Forever Forest “scene” and a simple sentiment from the Night Divine stamp set. Take a look-see:
