Stampin’ Up! Easter Lamb, Friends and Flowers Welcoming Words (and Blog Candy!)

Well, good morning to you! I’m glad you stopped by – I’ve got a cute welcome baby card to share with you today. But, first…

I was busy today. Did a little computer mailing….a little grocery shopping… and some stamping area setting up! If you’ve been following me for any time, you know that I travel with my stampin’ stuff if I’m going to be gone any length of time. I have to say – if any of you are traveling and are just addicted to this craft of ours enough to want to take it all with you and stamp in your hotel…TownePlace Suites are a good bet! I love this table/desk area they have! Take a look at what I got set up today – and didn’t even have to beg an additional table!

Kinda cool, huh? Certainly not bad for a hotel room craft spot!

So, at my new desk, I created a soft, cute card today to welcome a new baby to the family. I used several new stamp sets – Honeycomb Happiness (read on down for a chance to win this set for yourself!), Friends & Flowers, Easter Lamb and Welcoming Words! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Honeycomb Happiness Chick on a Super Simple Saturday!

Made it to the weekend!! Whoo-hoo! I’m sitting here on Friday night typing this post with the entire, beautiful, lovely, empty weekend stretching ahead of me. It’s even a Three-Day Weekend. Thank you, Mr. King! On top of all that, we got off work ridiculously early today. Like…I drove all the way back to the hotel….in DAYlight! 😉 So, I’m simply luxuriating in the knowledge that for the next three days… I don’t have to put make-up on, don’t have to get up at any particular time, don’t have to fight my work computer (whole other frustrating story that I won’t bore you with). Nothing like that at all. For 72 hours! Holy smokes!!

So tomorrow, after I get up whenever I want to! – I’ll be doing my “nesting”. I made the decision the other day to not change hotels, so now I can set up my crafting area, put away all my clothes and stuff, and settle down. And I can make cards again! Whoo-hoo!

But, I’ve still got one more card to share that I made before I left Atlanta. It uses the crazy cute stamp set in Sale-A-Bration called Honeycomb Happiness. This little chick-dude (dude-ette?) is totally adorable. And this card will go together for you lickety-split. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Words and One Big Meaning Thank You Cards

Well, here it is again – FRIDAY! Wow. It’s weird that I sit at work and the time drags but then I write my posts and my first week in AZ is already in the history books! I’m most definitely not complaining – I’m already looking forward to the end of the trip!

So, in my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator persona, one thing I can never have too many of is Thank You cards! When I recently sent my 2016 Occasions Catalog shares out, I included (as I always do!) a Thank You note in each package. I put together a stack of them, using the Watercolor Thank You stamp and some of the new Sale-a-Bration Perfectly Artistic DSP. I liked them so much that I decided to make a few more, and share them with you! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Rose Wonder Sympathy for the Happy Stamper’s Blog Hop

Welcome welcome – to another edition of the Happy Stampers weekly Blog Hop! This week we all worked with some lovely colors – Rose Red, Whisper White and Gold!

My share uses the wonderful new Occasions bundle with the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits ($49.25 for the bundle, a savings of 15%). I made a sympathy card – for my friends in Atlanta. They’ve lost too many of their 4-legged kids this past few months. But, here’s the thing. You could oh-so-easily make this exact card, minus one tiny element, and it would be a lovely sympathy card for any human person need! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Heart Wedding Congratulations

Mornin’, y’all! As we hit the half-way point, I hope the week is treating you well and that you’re busily stamping away with your fave SU! products and waiting for your new Occasions goodies and FREE Sale-a-Bration toys to arrive in the mail!

My share today is a wedding card – I don’t have anyone on my list right now who needs a wedding card (at least not one that’s as Princess wedding/formal as this card turned out!), but the sketch challenge that I played with for this card just seemed to cry out for a wedding card! I ended up using the completely perfect-for-a-wedding-card Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits, some florals from Timeless Love and both Sassy Salutations and For The New Two stamp sets for my sentiments. Stampin’ Up! Sweetbriar Rose Just a Note

Good Monday morning. Today, we take a break from our regularly scheduled program and take a look back thru the dusty shelves of Mary’s Stampin’ spot in her living room! You may recall me telling you last week that I did a bit of a purge of my retired stamp sets, and “found” some oldie-but-goodies lurking in the shelving (actually $1.99 plastic CD boxes from Publix!). They were just begging to be used!

So, I granted the wish of a lovely lovely stamp called Sweetbriar Rose. This is an ala carte stamp (it comes all by itself, in wood) and is just wonderful. I combined it with a simple sentiment from Watercolor Wishes (which comes in the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit – and is WAY worth having – it’s a wonderful group of sentiments in gorgeous fonts!), and stepped way back into my wheelhouse. Stampin’ Up! Awesome Grateful Bunch!

Good morning! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! Yesterday was just as bad as I figured it would be – I packed one Priority Mail box with paper and punches (it weighs approximately a million pounds!). This morning we’re going to see if I need to pull more out of the suitcases and pack a second box. Keep your fingers crossed, okay? 😉

Today’s share uses another new Occasions catalog stamp set – Grateful Bunch. But, let me ask you a question, y’all. Am I a complete goofus? Did I – or did I not – learn a valuable lesson when I failed to buy the Among the Branches bundle in the Holiday Catalog? When I said to myself – “self, you’re not going to need or want that stamp set – just get the Woodland TIEF – you don’t need the bundle”. And then, not a week and change later, did I or did I not buy the Among the Branches stamp set?? The answer is no – I did not learn a lesson. Cause yes – I did exactly that.

Now, I’ve told you over and over what a great deal buying bundles is. Right? But – apparently I do not listen to my own advice. When making my ginormous Occasions Catalog order last week, I said to myself – “self, you’re not going to need or want that punch that coordinates with Grateful Bunch. Just get the stamp set”. So, once again I went against my own advice.

So, for today’s card – which uses Grateful Bunch, and COULD have used the matching punch (Blossom Bunch Punch – available with Grateful Bunch for $33.00), I did a lot of fussy cutting! 😉 I combined the pretty flowers and sentiments from Grateful Bunch with some Wildflower Fields DSP and this is what I came up with. Stampin’ Up! Botanicals Just For You!

Happy First-Day-Of-The-Weekend, folks! I hope you have pretty weather and a lovely day planned! My day revolves around frantically trying to finish up a few cards to take with me for next week. Oh – and packing. Clothes are easy! Stampin’ stuff….not so much! What to take? What to leave? What if I leave something and then just NEED it when I’m there?!?! Oh the stress! I’m thinkin’ that I’m going to take only Occasions and SAB stamps and DSPs…and a couple of staple sentiment sets from the Annual Catalog. And the card stock that coordinates with the DSP. And punches. And Framelits. And TIEFs. And – of course! – my Big Shot! Which sounds like a completely doable (if suitcase-busting!) plan. If only I could wiggle my nose like Samantha Stevens and my bags would be packed! I kinda dated myself right there, didn’t I!?!? 😉

Anyway – I’ve got a pretty card to share today that uses what is likely my very favorite suite from the Occasions Catalog – the Botanical Gardens Suite. I love everything associated with this suite. This card uses the Botanical Builder Framelits and the Botanical Gardens DSP. I combined it with a sentiment from Watercolor Words (another fave set from the Annual Catalog), and this is what I came up with. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Going Places Sky High Birthday

Happy Friday, y’all! I’m counting down the days until I head out again – so am enjoying as much “at home” time as I can! Today was exciting – I got my hair cut.

No – that’s not the cause for excitement! When I got home – I had a box sitting by the gate that said “Stampin’ Up!” on the side! Oh my goodness, what fun THAT was to open! Stamps, and paper, and punches, and inks, and embellishments and more stamps and framelits…..wow. I surely did enjoy pulling those things out of that box!! 🙂

I spent a little time making a card with some of the new goodies, but my share for today is one I made a couple of days ago – you’ll maybe recall that I’m busily getting ahead on cards so I can keep the blog posts going next week…

So, this one is a masculine birthday card – I get asked for those every once in a while, so I figured I’d try to come up with one! It uses Sky is the Limit (this is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set that’s only available until 15 Feb!) and a sentiment from Guy’s Greetings (a fun set from the Annual Catalog). Take a look-see:
