Stampin’ Up! What I Love in the Meadow

Happy Huawp day, all y’all! Time is flying by – except for when it isn’t. I know that you know what I mean, cause I know that happens to everyone! It’s almost February. Hard to believe – but it’s true! And when it is…the Stamps-N-Lingers ordering special will be gone, baby, gone!

Also coming to an end is the availability of a few fun items in the Sale-A-Bration flyer. If you don’t remember what they are…check out my post from yesterday!

For today, I pulled out a new stamp set that I’ve been itching to play with. And also dreading! I’ve seen so many pretty cards – with superior art and coloring of these images – out on Pinterest…I’ve been a little afraid to throw my offering in the ring. But…I did it today! It’s the pretty new In The Meadow stamp set from the Occasions catalog. And I combined it with a sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set called What I Love. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! What’s Up on 26 Jan 16

Good morning, y’all! Just a few things to update you on – in addition to revealing this week’s Weekly Deals! Just a hint – the uber-cute Bear Hugs Framelits are on sale this week!

First off – there are some items in the Sale-a-Bration Flyer that are only available thru 15 Feb! And that’s like right around the corner – I know cuz I’ll be home by then! Whoo-hoo! If you’ve had your eye on….Sky is the Limit (stamp set!)….the Perfectly Artistic Designer Paper…or Hello (stamp set)…now’s the time to be getting your orders in and earning these fun SAB products for FREE! 🙂 After the 15th – we’ll get another set of Sale-A-Bration items. What will they be?!? Even I don’t know yet!

Another new item of note is the kickoff of a new way to share items that are on backorder. Whereas before today, you’d watch for the list of items on my blog post each day – from here on out, whenever you place an order thru my online store…you’ll get immediate feedback on the availability of that item. The system will tell you right then if your product is on backorder or is low in the inventory. If the item is on backorder, you’ll see a message letting you know that, along with a button giving you the chance to cancel or add the item anyway! So, it’ll be completely up to you. Stampin’ Up! Grateful Bunch Love Note

Aaaannnndddd…..it’s Monday again! Amazing how fast that came around this time – one day off just doesn’t really cut it! I shopped. I laundered. I made cards! I ate awesome Mexican food and had a truly wonderful Margarita. Then it was time for bed and back at it. Anybody else have a short weekend? Is it really even a weekend if it’s only one day? I don’t know. 😉

Now, for today, the stamp set I used is one that you’ve seen before – called Grateful Bunch. It has a few great flower images, and those images coordinate with a punch. That I stubbornly hadn’t acquired when last we looked at this set. But this time – I’m the proud new owner of the Blossom Bunch Punch! Can’t even sort of tell you how much quicker things go when you’ve got the right tools. As my friend is wont to say….you need to have the proper tool for the proper job! 🙂 So – with the right tools, I used Grateful Bunch and its matching punch to create today’s share. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! What I Love Thank You and a Blog Candy Winner!

Stampin’ Up! Bear Hugs Love Card

Stampin’ Up! Number of Years Pop-Up Birthday for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop!

This week we here at the Happy Stampers welcome you to a sketch challenge! It’s always fun to see what the 7 of us in the group come up with – we’re all so different in our crafty aesthetic – so seeing our 7 very different takes on the same sketch is cool! Hope you’ll take a few minutes to peruse all our various offerings today.

To start out – here’s the sketch we’re working with:

So – two years ago (and one month from today), a lovely little girl was born to one of our favorite and most fun-to-have-around team members. At that time, I was just getting a feel for stamping and making cards. Hadn’t even heard of Stampin’ Up!, let alone availed myself of any of their wonderful crafting goodies. But, nonetheless, I made a welcome baby card. Don’t even have a picture of it. Yes, I wasn’t even a blogger then!! 😉

Last year, I made a card for Miss Scarlett’s first birthday. It looked like this:

For today, as I make her second birthday card, I once again have wonderful Occasions and Sale-a-Bration products to use. Stampin’ Up! Botanical Builder Hello and a Limited Time Offer!

Happy Monday! I can totally say that today because….I’ve got the day off! Whoo-HOOOOO!! As I sit here typing this post – on Sunday night – I’m completely free of the “Sunday night blues”! I’ve just spent the day – in my pajamas! – listening to music on my computer thru my bluetooth speaker (Christmas present – thanks Martin’s!), reading and making cards. With a couple of meals thrown in. Heck, I even left the Do Not Disturb sign on all day.

And I have every intention of repeating the whole thing again tomorrow. Well – might have to let housekeeping come – I’m going to be out of coffee and that’s unacceptable! 😉

So, what did I make today? This card, that uses one of my bug-a-boo designs from the Botanical Gardens DSP. Just a hard design and color combo for me, but I decided to give it a go! I combined that with the Botanical Builder Framelits and the Hello You Thinlits and that was it. Take a look-see:
