Stampin’ Up! Blossoming Basket Weave Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a color challenge today – so be sure to check out all the ladies’ projects when you’re done here, won’t you?  Oh – and don’t forget to stock up on Fast Fuse today!!  

I decided to give you guys a solid sneak peek at the bestest new Sale-A-Bration goody – the Blossoming Basket bundle. This is a wonderful stamp set bundled with the Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF.  And, y’all?  This TIEF will be sticking around after SAB and will be in the Annual Catalog this summer!  But…it for sure won’t be FREE!! So…you might oughta get it starting on 16 Feb when it IS free!  I borrowed a couple of ideas from the second release flyer and came up with this…take a look see:

Stampin’ Up! Blends, Basket Weaves and Lovely Wishes

Happy happy Hawwmp day, y’all!  Mid-week on our way to another Continuing Resolution and/or government shutdown.  Whattheheckaretheydoing?!?  Sheesh.  I think THEIR pay needs to stop if they don’t get it together.  

So.  There.  My rant for the day.

Before I get going on the card for today, please be sure you make note of the impending Fast Fuse sale – it starts tomorrow and is a Buy-a-Fast-Fuse and get two refills free SALE!  And it’s only while supplies last – so…be ready to hop to in the morning!

Now.  For my card.  I used a technique that I saw in a Stampin’ Up! video (you can see it right here) to make a pretty background.  The Lovely Wishes stamp set lent it’s pretty flowers for the embossing.  And – if you look close…you’ll see a tiny sneak peek of the new Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF (which will be available to customers on 16 Feb!).  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Bird Banter Belated Birthday

Mornin’, y’all!  Monday arriveth again.  I saw on the news the other day that this is the least productive day of the year – many employers give their folks the day after Super bowl off – cuz they ain’t gonna do much anyway! Makes perfect sense to me.  These days, I’ll take any excuse to have a 4-day week!  There were some good commercials, didn’t you think?  We enjoyed watching Eli Manning do the Dirty Dancing scene with you Beckham, Jr – and the Alexa-lost-her-voice commercial was one of our favorites!  And the game was darned good, too – I enjoy watching when it’s not a rout.  Two outstanding teams this year!!

So, my card today uses the Bird Banter stamp set – one that I haven’t played with before.  And I used it, with the addition of some Sale-A-Bration Bubbles & Fizz DSP, to create a cute little belated birthday card.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette & More on Barn Wooden Textures

It’s Sunday, y’all.  And…it’s Super Bowl Sunday!

I don’t really care much about the game – I’m pretty sure Tom Brady is playing and then some other team?  But – I do enjoy the commercials.  Not half-time so much, unless it’s Carrie Underwood or Brad Paisley.  

Now, I know there are folks who DO like to watch the game and since it’s this evening, I’m going to cater to them (and to me – cuz…commercials!) and we’re going to skip tonight’s video.  Sorry – but…I really just think this is what we need to do!  Which means that this isn’t a sneak peek – it’s the full mugilicuddy!

I made a fun little card with the beautiful images in the Petal Palette stamp set, cut with dies in the bundled Petals & More Thinlits.  The background is made from strips of Wood Textures DSP.  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! You’re Inspiring Picture Perfect Birthday!

Happy happy HAAWWWWPPP Day!!  It’s the middle of the week – and the very last day of January 2018.

My card today uses the beautiful daffodil images in the You’re Inspiring stamp set.  I love yellow daffodils.  I love how generous they are – plant 4 bulbs and they’ll each give you extra!  And – when they’re all popping up in the shade of oaks or pecans…well.  They’re breathtaking!  All that is to explain why I did these all in yellow!  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Sure Do Love You Everyday Valentine!

Good morning!  How goes your week?

I’m excited cuz…Amy and I are busy making plans for fun activities with our team in the Fall – on top of OnStage in the…well.  Fall.  And the Cruise this summer!  And OnStage Local in April!  Stampin’ Up! has become such a huge part of my life – and I’m surely grateful!  Isn’t it lovely to have fun things to look forward to doing with your friends?? 🙂

In case you’re paying attention, it’s almost February.  Which means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!  

We have a cute little stamp set in the 2018 Occasions Catalog with a perfect sentiment.  Cuz…shouldn’t our Valentine be our Valentine every single day?  Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Lots to Love About Southern Serenade

Well, shoot-fire, y’all.  It’s freakin’ Monday again!  Sheesh – why does it come so fast and then take so long to get back to the weekend?  Anyone have a clue? I think it’s even harder to face the week when half (or more!) of the weekend was rainy and pretty much nasty, don’t you?  And yes – that’s what we had.  All the day long on Sunday. Finn – not a fan.  He loves the mud but his mom doesn’t so….he got to spend way less time outside than normal. 🙁

That kind of weather is, however, great for making cards!  So…I did!  And we did a video last night with one of those projects.  If you were able to join me – thanks so much for spending part of your weekend with me!  If not, but would like to see the project I made with the Lots to Love Box Framelits and the Southern Serenade stamp set, here’s a link to it on YouTube!

I used some of the pretty Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP to make the box with the Lots to Love Box Framelits – I’ve found that the heavier weight of the foil specialty papers works the best for these little boxes.

As you can see in the video – you’ll cut two of the Lots to Love Framelits box die cuts and put them together with Fast Fuse – or Tear & Tape Adhesive like I used! Continue reading →

Stampin’ Up! A Southern Serenade Video Sneak Peek

Good mornin’, y’all!  Welcome to half-way-thru-the-weekend day!  Which isn’t nearly as good as half-way-thru-the-work-week day (aka Haaaaawwwwp Day!!) now is it? 😉

So – as is the norm, I’ll be live tonight on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page at 8pm eastern.  Now – I’ve heard some stories about FB video crashes the last couple days – so…fingers crossed that they’ve got it all fixed by tonight!
