I pulled out a fun fold for today’s card – it’s a cool one and I like it. I decorated it with images and die cuts from the Gathered Wheat bundle and some pretty paper from the Rustic Harvest DSP. The Scalloped Contours die set added a fun – and different! – touch to the inside of the card. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Candy Cane Christmas Cheer for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays”! Candy canes are everywhere at Christmas – have you ever hung them on your tree for decorations? We did that one year – with two German Shepherds in the house. We came home to find that the entire bottom half of the tree – as high as they could reach – was totally de-nuded of candy canes. Last time using edible decor! 😉

Stampin’ Up! Perched in a Tree Lights Aglow CAS Christmas Card

Good morning on Monday! It’s back to reality (ie: cooking my own meals!!) after a most wonderful weekend. I wish we could do these retreats once a MONTH instead of once a YEAR!! Such a good time with friends – fun crafting – and amazing food!! 🙂
