Stampin’ Up! Bubble Over Sneak Peek!

Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  Hope your week is going well! 🙂

I hope that you got your Stamparatus reserved yesterday?  I did!! Whoo-Hoo!!  Can’t wait to get it!

I had a visit today from the Big Brown Truck!  Yep – my Pre-Order arrived!  Watch for some peeks tomorrow, okay?

Speaking of peeks – sneak or otherwise – today I want to share one of the cards we made at our meeting the other day.  And introduce you to the Bubble Over bundle!

The bundle consists of the photopolymer Bubble Over stamp set…

and the matching Bottles & Bubbles Framelits…

And there’s Designer Series Paper, too.  But – guess what?  The paper – called Bubbles & Fizz – is a Sale-A-Bration item!  That’s right – when you make a purchase of $50 (before shipping and tax) you could pick this fun paper!

A fun feature is that the bottles in the Bottles & Bubbles Thinlits match – and cut out! – the bottles you can see there on that top paper!  And the same is true of the bottle caps.  Cool, huh?!

And – should you get the bundle and the paper – you could make the cards we made on Sunday.  Take a look-see at the first one!

I think this is such a cute card – love the idea of using Vellum card stock for the bottles, don’t you?

We started with a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock and stamped the little bubbles image from the Bubble Over stamp set in Bermuda Bay near the top.  I love love love that image – the bubbles are simply perfect!

Then we matted the panel on Peekaboo Peach and wrapped some Peekaboo Peach Baker’s Twine around the panel three times – securing it in the back with scotch tape.

We cut three bottles from Vellum card stock – two of the smaller bottles and one large.  I cut a couple pieces of Bubbles & Fizz DSP with the label die in the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits and adhered them to the bottles with Liquid Glue.  We heat embossed the sentiment from Bubble Over in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a piece of Calypso Coral card stock and cut it out with its die, too!  I popped that sentiment over the middle label with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals under the labels and right at the very top of the two smaller bottles and popped them on the card front.

With the dies in the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits, we cut a couple of straws from Whisper White card stock and a few bottle caps from Silver Foil.  I adhered the straws “inside” the large bottle with Liquid Glue – only at the bottom, behind the label.  Then I used more Dimensionals behind the label and on the straws to pop that over the other two bottles.  I adhered the bottle caps to the two smaller bottles and one at the bottom of the large bottle with Liquid Glue.

To finish it off, I tied a double bow from the Peekaboo Peach Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  Then I added some of the new Clear Epoxy Shapes from the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes pack (available 3 Jan!) over the bubbles – they really look like bubbles, y’all!  And that was it for the card front.

On in the inside, we stamped two bottles – one in Peekaboo Peach and one in Lemon Lime Twist – on a Whisper White panel.  Then we added some Bermuda Bay bubbles!

We Fast Fuse’d the panel into our Calypso Coral card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensional and the card was done!

The Whisper White Medium Envelope got some Bermuda Bay Bubble Over bubbles up the side on the front…

…and I added some fun paper from the Bubbles & Fizz Sale-A-Bration DSP to the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Amy designed a great card for us with this fun new set….are you writing this one down on your Wish List?!?  I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

So – Finn had a pretty good day.  He played and ran and the horseshoer came.  So – he got to eat horse hoof and…well.  Other stuff in horse feet!

He was pretty darned good – even went and laid down (mostly) when I decided he’d eaten enough…”other” stuff!

All the ponies and The Big Guy got mani/pedi’s.

I came back in the house and work/life struck.

And that was what I did the rest of the day. Non-stop.  On the phone all freakin’ day.

Why do I tell you this?

Cuz – I had exactly one real opportunity to take a picture of the Man.

And I didn’t.

Not one new picture.

I’m very very sorry.

Here’s a horseshoeing picture from a year ago – Finn’s first time.

He’s come a long way since that day when he had to be held on a leash the whole time, huh?

Hopefully I’ll do better on the Finn-Fan-Fix Front. 🙁

Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus Reservation Window is Open!

It’s big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you’ll wonder how you crafted without it!

Why do YOU need one? You’ll fall in love with stamping all over again when you learn everything you can do with it!

  • Make multiples with ease
  • Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
  • If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
  • Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
  • Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates
  • Develop new and specialized stamping techniques with adjustable stamping plates and precision placement

Product Details:

  • Compatible with Stampin’ Up!’s red rubber and photopolymer stamp
  • Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
  • Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
  • 2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
  • 2 reversible plates: a total of 4 surfaces to work with
  • 2 magnets to hold the paper in place
  • Magnet storage areas
  • Retail Price–$49.00!!

So How Do You Get One??

With the launch of this tool, Stampin’ Up! is trying something different: testing a new reservation system. It acts like a true preorder: you reserve your spot and they guarantee shipment as soon as the product arrives in their warehouse. This system will allow Stampin’ Up! to get the product to market as soon as possible while avoiding backorders and efficiently managing inventory.

Changes to the Stamparatus Reservation Process:
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will be open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period Stampin’ Up! will take as many orders as they receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note the following changes:

  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM MT (4:00 PM ET, 3:00 PM CT and 1:00 PM PT) today, Tuesday, December 5 and remain open until December 30.
  • Beginning March 19, Stampin’ Up! will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in their warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, Stampin’ Up! is only allowing one reservation per customer.
  • Because they are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, they will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.
  • Have more questions? We have answers. Check out the PDFs below.

Customer Stamparatus Launch Q & A
How to Reserve Your Stamparatus Tutorial for Customers

Here is a video that Stampin’ Up! created to show you how to use the new tool!

The reservation period begins today at 2:00 PM MT and goes through December 30 so you can reserve yours right now!

Stamparuatus Reservation Questions

A few of you have asked questions about adding a host code to the reservation.  Since the order will not be generated and you will not be charged for the Stamparatus until your Stamparatus is ready to ship, you won’t be able to add the host code until then.  This is how the ordering process will work:

  • After you get your tool reserved, you will get an email from Stampin’ Up! confirming your reservation.
  • You will get an email from Stampin’ Up! in when your Stamparatus is ready to ship letting you know that an item has been added to your shopping basket.
  • At that point, you can log into your Stampin’ Up! account in my online store and you will find the Stamparatus in your shopping bag.
  • You can add other items to your order at that time if you’d like and add a host code to it before submitting the order.  So the checkout process will work just like it always does.  You can add a host code and your payment information at the time of checkout.
  • Here is a quick tutorial for the reservation process:

Let me know if you have any questions.  Don’t forget that the reservation process starts today, 5 December at 2:00 PM MT (4:00 PM Eastern Time, 3:00 PM Central Time, 1:00 PM Pacific Time)!

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator. Just click on the Order Stampin’ Up! Online Now button on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store or drop me an email if you have any questions. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Sentiments for Stamp Ink Paper #128

Hey, y’all!  Welcome to Tuesday and another fun challenge from Stamp Ink Paper!  Before we get started, though, let me remind you that the next reservation window for the new Stamparatus is opening today at 2PM Mountain Time!  Be sure to get logged into my Online Store and place your reservation!

Onward! Our Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #128 this week is a theme challenge…

I decided to be a little obvious and used the Snowflake Sentiments and matching Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits.  And I added a little Sheltering Tree.  Take a look-see:

I was also playing along with a couple of challenges to help me with colors and ideas!

The first, from the Global Design Project, was a CASE the Designer challenge.

And the second, from Sunday Stamps, informed the color combination!

So – I started with a piece of the Cherrry Cobbler striped paper from the Be Merry DSP and matted it with Fast Fuse onto a Cherry Cobbler mat.  For the middle panel, I cut a smaller piece of Whisper White card stock.  Using wedges of Stampin’ Sponge, I started with Basic Gray Archival Ink around the top of the panel, and then transitioned to Smoky Slate.  I kept the bottom of the inked area sort of irregular – to look like snow drifts!  Pssst…even though there wasn’t any Pool Party in the challenge colors, I used just a bare touch of it in the gray sky to give it more depth and wintery color!!

Next up, I stamped the bare-limbed tree from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Basic Gray Archival Ink.  Then I embossed the panel in the Soflty Falling TIEF and matted it on Cherry Cobbler.

The sentiment, from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set, is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on a piece of Vellum card stock and cut with the largest oval die in the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I cut some snowflakes with the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits.  The Silver Glimmer Paper snowflakes were cut with the long multi-snowflake die and snipped apart.  I adhered part of one them to the card front – where it would end up under the art panel.  Once it was down, I added the sponged and embossed panel with Fast Fuse and a touch of Liquid Glue (over the Glimmer Paper snowflake).  Then I added the second Silver snowflake with Liquid Glue.

The other snowflakes are cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  I adhered them to the vellum sentiment oval and then used Mini Dimensionals under them and popped the oval onto the card front.

I made a Billie Moan bow with some new Silver Baker’s Twine from the 2018 Occasions Catalog and adhered it with a Glue Dot (and there’s a Mini Dimensional under it, too!).  I stuck one of the Dazzling Diamonds snowflakes on with another Glue Dot and then added a small Clear Facteted Gem.  I also added those Gems to the other snowflakes and the card front was done!

On the inside, I matted more of the Be Merry DSP on Cherry Cobbler and added a Cherry Cobbler-matted smaller Whisper White panel with Fast Fuse.  Then I adhered a Silver Glimmer Paper Swirly Snowflake die cut with Liquid Glue.

I Fast Fuse’d the liner into my Basic Gray card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a snowflake from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set – heat embossed in Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder – on the front…

…and more of the striped paper from the Be Merry DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I sorta love this gray snowy day – and the Softly Falling TIEF really helps it looks like snow drifts building up, don’t you think?  The Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflake Thinlits are carrying over at least into the Occasions Catalog – whoo-hoo – but the 10% off bundle price will go away – so grab it now if you don’t have it!!  Hope you like!

Thought I’d show you a couple more shots of our meeting yesterday!  We had so much fun – and so did the Man!  Although – he was awfully busy…

Monitoring the activities of his little “flock”…

…wondering what in the world his mom is doing that’s making her look so danged goofy…

…and finally…well.  He’s not in this picture.  He’s behind me snoring.  A guy still has to get his nap time in!!

I just wanted to show you this one – it’s a great shot of us all intently making our Bubble Over cards – that I’ll share with you a little later this week! We have so much fun at our meetings. Wouldn’t you like to join us?!?  🙂

CHANGE IN STAMPARATUS RESERVATION WINDOWS!!

YOU NEED TO READ THIS MESSAGE FROM STAMPIN’ UP!

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.
As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period we will take as many orders as we receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!
Please note the following changes:
  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).

Stampin’ Up! Birds, Blooms and a Petal Palette Sneak Peek!

Well.  It’s happened.  Monday.

That’s all I’m going to say on that front, okay?

We had a great weekend, Finn and I, including a wonderful time at Amy’s Krew meeting yesterday!  He had a great time entertaining all the ladies and supervising our card making!

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video – I thank you for spending part of your Sunday with me!  If not, but would like to watch the replay, check it out on YouTube right here.

So – here’s a way to know that you’ve become a serious card maker.  You “see” cards and ideas everywhere.  Backgrounds in tile and carpet.  Sentiments on church signs.  Color combinations in gardens.  Card fronts in catalogs.  Case in point – the other day I was thumbing thru my Coldwater Creek catalog.

Looking for clothes to add to my list for the “end” of my diet.  And saw…

My new decorating philosophy is “first add no new dust-catchers” – so, I didn’t see something to hang on the wall.  I saw a card front!  I saw the Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF, some Wood Tectures DSP, the Birds & Blooms Thinlits, and…the new only-available-to-demonstrators Petal Palette stamp set and matching Petals & More Thinlits.  So I got busy and came up with this.  Take a look-see:

What do you think?

This one played along with a couple of challenges – the first is an Anything Goes from the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.

And the second, from the Paper Craft Crew  – rather loosely! – helped me with the layout!

I began by embossing a panel of Whisper White in the Cable Knit Dynamic TIEF – it’s a little smaller than the card front which is a piece of Wood Textures DSP.

Using the  wonderful leaves image in the 2018 Occasions Catalog stamp set called Petal Palette (we got to see this one early – just one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!), I stamped them a few times in Craft Whisper White Ink.  And to add even more texture, once the ink was dry (I might have helped it along with my Heat Tool!) I embossed the panel in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF.

Then I cut the bird image with the die from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits (Annual Catalog).

I quite generously applied Stampin’ Dimensionals – both regular and Mini – behind the now embossed and bird-die-cut Wood Textures panel and popped it over my Cable Knit embossed Whisper White Panel.  Then I Fast Fuse’d it to a Cherry Cobbler mat.

For my decorations, I cut some Pretty Pines Thinlits pine boughs from a little Old Olive and Black plaid paper from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and a couple of Cherry Cobbler berries.  The wonderful, beautiful, exquisite….add in any superlatives you’d like here, there can’t be too many!…Whisper White leafy branches are cut with the Petals & More Thinlits.  Oh my gosh, you guys…these are just…the best!

I adhered my decorations to the card front with Liquid Glue.

My sentiment is from the soon-to-retire Musical Season stamp set.  I used my Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers to color just the words and the little dots and stamped it on a Whisper White strip.  I cut a banner in one end and edged it with the Cherry Cobbler Maker.  Then I popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I made a Billie Moan bow from Linen Thread and added it with a Glue Dot.

To finish it off, I colored some Pearl Basic Jewels with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend – works perfectly, y’all! – and added them here and there on the card front and sentiment banner.

On the inside, I wanted to recreate the woodsy leaves that I’d stamped on the front.  But…I also wanted room and a light color to write a greeting on.

What to do? What to do?

Well….I used the Kissing Technique.  Here’s how it goes:

  • Lay your Hardwood Background Stamp on your work surface, rubber side up.
  • Ink it with Soft Suede Ink.
  • Use the petal stamp from the Petal Palette stamp set (when you can get it in January!) and ink it with Crumb Cake ink.
  • “Stamp” the leaves on the Hardwood stamp- twice – turning it a little between stamps.
  • Stamp the image on a Whisper White panel.
  • Repeat

And here’s what you’ll get:

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Petal Palette leaves on the front…

…and a bit more Wood Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  What do you think?  Not identical, but…I was tickled with how it turned out!  I do believe this Petal Palette bundle (with the Petals & More Thinlits is going to be a heavy heavy favorite when the 2018 Occasions Catalog hits the streets, don’t you!?!  Hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

Today was The Big Excursion!  We drove north a ways to attend our Inkin’ Krew meeting.  It’s a long-isn drive – further than Finn’s been since we got him (well, except for the big drive bringing him home!).

Y’all.  He.  Was.  So.  GOOD!!!

He wiggled his little wiggler so hard I think it might be sprained.

And – as I type this on Sunday evening, he’s flat sacked out.  One tired little Man!

He greeted everyone – and all the ladies were so good to help me with our training – not petting him until he was settled down a little.  Thank you, ladies!

He gave hugs…

….he supervised the cutting station (he takes his work veeeerry seriously!)…

…gave a few more kisses….

…and then…he…napped.

What a good boy he is!!

Finn Fan Fix

We did it!

Went to the Puppy Tubs (yes, that’s the name of the “dog spa”!).

And it was…awesome!

My Finn – who is no-doubt the smartest dog on the entire planet! – climbed up in the tub.  Climbed back out – after a good scrubbing and only shaking all over me three times!  Then managed to overcome his concern over the “drying station”.

And came out the other side shiny, soft and beauteous!  And showing off to anyone who would look!

Eighteen bucks.  Forty-Five minutes.  A ride in the car for the Man.  No dog hair in my tub.  No 7000 soaked towels. Bathroom not flooded.  Clean and shiny dog?

Priceless!!

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Merry Little Christmas Labels

‘Sup, y’all?!?  Don’t want to scare you, but…there are only 23 days until Christmas.

Serious.

Twenty.  Three.  Days.

Yikes!

Last week, in the spirit of Christmas, I made a few gift tags for y’all to make for yourself.  This was one of them….

I may or may not have mentioned that I was thinking on a card to follow along in this same vein.

So…I used the Carols of Christmas bundle (with the Card Front Builder Thinlits) and the Merry Little Labels stamp set.  Not for nothing – these are retiring sets – so…if you love them, get them now.  They’ll only be around until they’re gone.  Anywho – take a look-see:

I started with more of the Old Olive and Basic Black plaid paper from the going-away-soon Merry Little Christmas DSP and matted it on Basic Black.

To make the large label – I used the largest die in the Lots of Labels Framelits.  I wanted the label to be longer than the die would allow on its own, so I ran the Crumb Cake card stock about halfway thru the Big Shot – so that I only cut one end of the label.  Then I turned it around and finished the label by running the other end thru.

I added some faux stitches with my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker and punched a hole in the top with my 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch.

I inked up the Merry Little Labels sentiment with Versamark and then covered all but the words and stamped it on the top of the label.  Then I sprinkled it with White Stampin Emboss Powder and heated it with my Heat Tool.

I also heat embossed the stars and deer image from the Carols of Christmas stamp set in White.  With the stars and moon die in the Card Front Builder Thinlits, I cut out some stars and sparkles and adhered them to the top with little dabs of Liquid Glue.

Thank I ran a length of Jute Twine thru the hole at the top of the label and secured it with a couple of Glue Dots.  Then I popped the label onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut several of the pretty trees with the dies in the Card Front Builder Thinlits (boy, I will miss these beautiful trees!!) in Whisper White and used Liquid Glue to adhere two of them directly to the label.  The two single trees are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals (the tree on the left) and Liquid Glue/Dimensionals.

I used my thankfully-not-retiring favorite Pretty Pines Thinlits to cut some pine boughs from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and adhered them at the top with Liquid Glue.

To finish off the card front, I tied a bow from Jute Twine and attached it at the top with another Glue Dot.

On the inside, I used a Crumb Cake panel for the inner liner and added faux stitches with my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker.  Then I heat embossed – in White – more of the stars and the deer from the Carols of Christmas stamp set.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Crumb Cake card base.  Then I added another Whisper White Card Front Builder Thinlits tree with Liquid Glue, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a couple of the trees cut from the plaid Merry Little Christmas DSP on the front…

…and more of the plaid on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Merry Little Labels and the Carols of Christmas bundle are going away, y’all!  Like I said at the top – if you love them…get them soon, before they’re gone for good!  Hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

So – y’all remember that Sunday is “card making day” for Finn.

Or – card making watching!

Based on the clues wafting to my nostrils whenever I hug the little Man – which is a lot – I think we might need to make a trip to the Puppy Tubs today.

I asked him his thoughts on the matter.

He didn’t need any words.

Anyone doubt his opinion??

Stampin’ Up! Acorny Happy Birthday Blessings

Mornin’, y’all – happy Friday!  Another weekend approacheth! 🙂

I’ve got some birthdays coming up in the next few months so I decided to go ahead and get a card or two made.  For this one today, I used the so-wonderful Happy Birthday Thinlit!  And – the Count My Blessings stamp set.  Take a look-see:

I got the idea for several of the elements from this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge – I went right down the right column…

The sketch I used is the one from Freshly Made Sketches.

I started with some chevron-design paper from the Painted Autumn DSP, matting it on Old Olive with Fast Fuse.

The oval was cut from some Wood Textures DSP with a Stitched Shapes die – the largest of the oval dies – and adhered directly to the card front with some Liquid Glue.

Using the Happy Birthday Thinlit, I cut three of the sentiments from Very Vanilla card stock and adhered them together in a stack with Liquid Glue.

I stamped several of the large acorn image from the Count My Blessings stamp set in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.  They’re all colored with Stampin’ Blends.  I used the Bronze Blend for the base of the acorns.  The top of the acorns is Dark and Light Crumb Cake and the leaves are Old Olive.  Once they were all colored, I spent a little time fussy cutting! 🙂  Hint:  If you love the Count My Blessings stamp set – and have been waiting to order it – now’s the time!  It’s retiring after the Holiday Catalog goes away – so…it’s only available while supplies last!

About the time I put my Blends back in their new StampNStorage shelf (shameless plug…), I realized that it would be cool to have a couple of acorns popped up on Dimensionals.  So – I stamped, colored and cut another set – one large acorn and one small.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the acorns in and around the thinlit die cut and then adhered it all to the card front.  I popped those last two acorns onto the top cluster with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, I brushed just the bases of the acorns with my Clear Wink of Stella.

To finish off the card front, I tied three tiny little bows from Linen Thread and adhered them to each acorn with a dab of Liquid Glue.

For the inside, I stamped the large acorn image again in Early Espresso on a Very Vanilla panel.  And then I colored it again with the Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Bronze Stampin’ Blends.

Hint.  Do not try to color when you’re in a hurry!  I mean – you can color quickly – but…don’t try to do it when you’re pressed for time or have something else you need to be doing other than enjoying the creative process.

Whoops.

So – started over and got my acorn successfully colored, then used my Blender Pen to pull some of the color out and around the image to create a shadow effect.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to an Old Olive mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

I repeated the Count My Blessings acorn on the front of my Very Vanilla Medium Envelope – don’t forget the plastic sheet from the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig inside your envelope when you color it with your Stampin’ Blends!  I repeated the Blender Pen treatment on this image as well…

…then I put some more of the Wood Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I really really love this Happy Birthday Thinlits die – and I think it turned out beautifully studded with Count My Blessings acorns!  Hope you like!

Be sure to get your own copy of Count My Blessings right away – it won’t be around much longer! 🙁

  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows:
    • One reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
    • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

Please note what has not changed:

  • If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved. If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

We can’t wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you’ll make with this incredible stamping tool.

I’ve got all the information over on my Promotions page – including a super little video with lots of information on this wonderful new stamp placement tool.  Be sure to check it out – peruse the how-to-reserve-your-Stamparatus tutorial you’ll find there, and then mark your calendar for the next reservation window on 5 Dec!!

Finn Fan Fix

So.  I’ve had horses of my own now for…oh gosh.  Let’s see.  I got my first horse when I was…13?  14?  And, I’m 29 now, so that would make it….well – quite a long time. 🙂

I’ve had an Aussie Horse Herder for a little over a year.

Here’s the question.

How in the world did I ever EVER get these darned ponies to come into the barn and go into their stalls all by myself?

When I didn’t have an Aussie Horse Herder.

It was – I am sure! – sheer chaos!

But – no longer.

NOW they hasten into the barn – warily watching the great Aussie Horse Herder…

Well – except Bo.  He – the Wild Stallion – is not to be pushed.

He’ll make his way in at his pwn pace.

Thank you very much! 🙂
