Stampin’ Up! Be Merry Carols of Christmas

Good morning, y’all!  Hope you’re getting your weekend off to a great start! 🙂

My card today is quick and easy – I let the beautiful Be Merry DSP from the Annual Catalog and the new Carols of Christmas bundle do all the work for me.  Add a little bling and…take a look-see:

And – don’t forget – you can get the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the matching Card Front Builder Thinlits dies starting on Tuesday, 1 Aug!!!

Hang on to yer hats, peeps – this one is quick!!

I started by matting a piece of Cherry Cobbler design paper from the Be Merry DSP onto a Whisper White mat and a second Basic Black Mat for the card front.

Then I stuck a few Glue Dots onto the card front and used them to oh-so-artfully wind a length of Black and a length of Silver Mini Sequin trim.

The sentiment, from Carols of Christmas, is stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink on a piece of Whisper White and cut out with a square Stitched Shapes Framelit.  I used my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker to fill in the spaces in the font of the sentiment.

I matted the square to a Scalloped square cut with my Squares Layering Framelits and then popped it over the sequins with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the holly sprigs, I colored the little stamp with my Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it on Whisper White, then cut it with the matching die in the Card Front Builder Thinlits.  They’re adhered to the sentiment with a little dab of Liquid Glue.  And I finished it off with a couple of Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

On the inside – I built up an inner liner with a Basic Black mat, then a Whisper White Mat.  Next is a full piece of the Be Merry DSP.  Finally – a slightly smaller-than-normal piece of Whisper White.  I wanted a little more “frame”.  Then I stamped the Cherry Cobbler/Garden Green holly sprig in the bottom corners.

I Fast Fuse’d the whole stack into my Garden Green card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got two Carols of Christmas holly sprigs on the front…

…and a little more Be Merry DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Quick and easy and elegant, don’t you think?  I really love how versatile this new Carols of Christmas set is – and I can’t wait for you to be able to buy it on Tuesday!  Hope you like!

There’s just a few more days to join me in Stampin’ Up! and receive that wonderful Essentials Pack (wish that had been around when I joined!!) – so please give me shout and let’s get you signed up!  Cuz…you’re going to really love – and want! – that 20% discount on the new Holiday Catalog – and if you’re a demonstrator you can start ordering from it on the 1st of August!  And folks?  I’ve seen it.  It’s awesome.

Just sayin’…..

  1. How can you help but love your card and your pup!

  2. Love the card, especially how that sentiment makes for a fast and beautiful card! Those sequins look wonderful with it and the inside is perfect, too! Love it!

  3. Perfect holiday card! Love the clean design. And running through the water on a hot day is my favorite sport too! 🙂

  4. Lovely card! Sometimes it is nice to let the DSP do the work isn’t it? Just like a kid, “get the hose and let me play!” Looks like a good time was had by all.
